Gelato just broke the soil today 9/8/20. Still waiting on the Grape ape. I’m using CoCo lightly amended with fox farm all purpose and jump start and added beneficial micro bacteria a few weeks ago and watered it with cal mag and molasses. To get it ready for the plants will be running a irrigation system on a timer to keep coco damp. Will also be feminizing one and pollinating the other prolly through cloning to combine these strains.

10/15/20 Ok so it’s been really about 3-4 weeks I didn’t buffer my coco before planting and ran into a major def. I finally shook it back and topped her into a 4 way. I had cal mag lock out from the coco bonding to it but everything is good now and she’s making her way to the SCROG. Also had to get rid of Gelato it wasn’t able to recover from the same issues as grape ape. 10/16/20 Honestly I’m impressed with this plant. Normally I would have tossed her with the condition she was in even through the stress I topped her and she worked through both sources of stress I mixed up a foiliar spray with Epsom salt 1 tsp/Gal. , Fox Farms Big bloom 10ml/Gal and Superthrive 1.5ml/Gal ( Ik it’s not in flower but for what’s going on with this plant she needs it and it’s good to use in a spray ) I’m spraying when the lights flip on and about a hour before they go out. It really does make a difference especially with training and stressing them out. Now she’s touching the net. A few more day and I’ll max her out with supper cropping and tying her down. 🧐 10/17/20 Did some light defoliation to help expose inner nodes and branches of the 4 way. Ties the main branches back down to try to keep dominance off any favor. Also spraying with superthrive heavy to help her recover from stress. 10/19/20 Training as normal no signs of stress even after training a very hearty strain shout out to Growers Choice

New colas taking dominance are starting to get out of control how do I train the center of the 4 way without blocking another out?

let the branches in the middle grow a bit in height before u LST them again, if not u will get a lot of small branches in numbers but they wont become very big like the 4 in the corner, just give them another week or two and have the center directly under the light, keep the canopy even with the net you installed (dont let the the 4 big ones grow out of the net until the branches in the middle are at the same height and everything should be fine and even :) happy growing:)

So 10/21/20 is the start of the new week been spraying with superthrive and Epsom salt and 10 ml of fox farm big bloom at said mixture to 1 Gal it keeps her from stressing and also supplements for me forgetting to buffer the coco she’s actually a hearty strain and she smells way stronger than any veg smell I’ve ever grown so I’m expecting her to be loud when finished. Starting to make her way through the SCROG and I’ll be supper cropping and tying her down until she fills the screen. 10/23/20 Did one final tie down of the 4-way to let the center bunch reach the net I feel like it will be there In a couple days, also trimmed some fan leaves and leaves that blocked light from potential colas. 10/25/20 So the center bunch of tops finally hit the screen tied the 4 main colas down again so everything grows out even then sprayed it with a vitamin solution to help with stress from LST hoping to start flower at the end of next week 10/26/20 Went in and cleaned her up tonight. Defoliated and lollipoping so I can really see what tops I have and to get her ready to flip I’ll give her about a week to recover from tonight decided to not super crop I don’t think it’s needed. Did some more LST and directional tucking she has about 20 tops that I feel like are going to do well.

10/27/20 The start of week 5 and she is doing very well I’m starting to see where all the bud sites will be. She is showing very minimal stress from the heavy training lastnight no slowed growth at all. I feel like the foiliar mixture helps a lot when it comes to that. Will be introducing flower nutrients slowly this week Bc she has about 1.5-2 more weeks left then I’ll flip her 10/28/20 So she recovered way faster than I thought she would so I’ll flip her to flower tonight and start my first week of flower when pre flowers form 10/29/20 Flipped to flower lastnight and tonight when I tended to her she was praying this is only a MarsHydro Ts1000 and the sweet spot seems to be at 2ft from canopy. Started to introduce flower nutrients to her and cutting back on the nitrogen 11/1/20 Counting this as the last day of veg. Still no pre-flowers but it’s been on 12/12 for a few days now so f*€k it!! She is perked up and ready though

11/3/20 Still not throwing hairs but I’ll count this as week 1 flower had to lose the SCROG it wasn’t doing much good so I tied everything down and defoiliated again... lightly 11/4/20 Pistils!!!👀 11/6/20 She’s really filling out did a strategic leaf strip to expose some tops that are barely under the canopy to the light and tied tops that were close to the under tops out the way so that they can stretch and catch up 11/7/20 Notice a little burning on the tips of the bottom growth. So I’m reducing the PPM of solution and next watering will be plain PH water to dilute what’s in the medium that’s possible burning and also moved the light up about 4” 11/9/20 Wrapping up week 1 flower. Added 1 tsp of FF open sesame to help activate bud site production

11/10/20 Start of week 2 flower and she is running strong since supplementing with Fox Farms- Open sesame I have notice she started forming way more clusters at bud sites it’s a very good product to use in the transition from veg to flower. This strain is hardly stretching at all so far witch is a plus and is easy to maintain through straining. She is feeding heavy and more frequently than ever I can’t wait to see how she flower. Stay tuned and stay stoned🤙🏼✌️🏼👀 11/14/20 Began with heavy preflowers the past few days she suppose to be a 8 week flowering strain I guess we will find out 11/15/20 Routine check put a huge smile on me starting to dilute feed in half to encourage her to start taking some built up nutrients out of them medium to help the flushing process and the cure further down the road 11/16/20 Started seeing trichomes on the mains and checked leaf tips of new growth to see if the adjustments to nutrients are working everything seems to be back to normal also cleaned up the lollipop this is a fast flowering strain

11/17/20 so starting off week 3 of flower and she is frosting up nice. Got to give it to Growers Choice they carry some good genetics also to mars hydro so far so good it has a great output you wouldn’t think you have to watch how close it is but you do it puts out more intensity than you think 11/22/20 Tonight I cleaned up the lollipop so she isn’t putting energy into bud sites or leaves that have a lower chance of getting the proper amount of light also defoliated some non essential leaves that were in the way of bud sites. Also added Molasses to the mix to bring out the terpenes and aroma of her. The molasses also aids in fattening up the buds. She’s coming along nice hoping to see a decent yeild from her.

@whitefeather_feldman So basically keep tucking the 4 main tops under the net until the center bunch reaches the net. Then flip to flower

@Greatgrowman, exactly! thats how you get an even canopy :)

Beautiful grow!! What lights are you running?

@Grower610, I like it a lot actually I’ve seen the same and at first I was using the ts600. The ts1000 is perfect for my 2x2 it doesn’t put off a lot of heat and it’s adjustable when it comes to intensity I can turn it down to 10/20% for germination and seedling stage then gradually boost it to about 60% during veg then 100% at flower it does exactly what it’s suppose too recently I got into building COBs and that’s what I’ll be using next I have a 4x8x7.5 tent I’m building for now I’ll have 12 Generation 6 cobs and 6 sun board strips 2 of those will be a deep red spectrum to promote flower all of that will be mounted on heat sinks and then mounted to a aluminum frame. It’s actually so easy after you learn how to use the ts1000 to its potential I’d switch to a self built light look it up https://ledgardener.com/build-led-grow-light/

@Greatgrowman, how are you liking the light so far? It seems like the plants are loving it. I was looking to get the ts1000 for my 2x2 but got a lot of mixed reviews on the forums.

@Grower610, Thanks!! that’s actually just a Mars Hydro ts1000 at the moment it’s only turned to 75% I have 2 COB rigs I’ll throw in there come flower
