Hello everyone
This 10th and last week of flowering stage,
I flushed with florakleen.
Five days ago my HPS bulb fuckup and replaced with MH bulb. After 3-4 days when soil will be fully dry I'll harvest my girl.
OH WOW!!! Looking like pure fire!
What kind of digital microscope do you have? I have one but I think I wanna trash it, I spend way too much time trying to get those perfect clear shots of the trichromes.
Happy harvesting!
I ran the GH line back in my hydro grows and it’s fantastic. There is one problem I’ve found with them though.
First and foremost, PH is important!! Dial in at 6.4/6.5 on your water. A lot of those nutrients as you add them will throw the ph out of line and when you add the next bit of nutrients they’ll precipitate and drop out of the solution and be unusable by the plant. This is especially true with recharge, armor SI and calimagic.
I do know that when mixing my nutrients I tend to start with armor SI, which will put the PH to 8-9. Crazy high. So I PH That back down to 6.3 STIR, then add calimagic. Then stir like crazy, calimagic likes to drop out a lot. Then micro. Stir, then grow/bloom. Stir. Then the Other supplements. I never used recharge with GH trio but I’d say to add that with the armor SI because that will also raise the ph to 8-9. recharge directions say don’t worry about PH but I think that’s bullshit.
Make sure After silica and recharge you set the ph to 6.3!!! Super important. Once your nutrients are mixed PH one last time, to get around 6.4 6.5.
I notice you’re going reasonably high on your nutrients, I’ve never used GH trio in soil but it might be a good to consider dialing it back too.
Also, make sure the lights aren’t too close, I fried my soil grow a bit doing that.
But PH is gonna be your most important. If your pen isn’t working get some calibration liquid or drop cash on a new pen.
Hope that helps, I really wanna see this lemon cheese succeed! RIP Franco
@xanado18,
Yes, I allways check ppm, 739 was in mixed water and in drained water was 945.
Someone told me, its good to wait about 20 minutes after mixing armor si.
I'll try everything for my plant, now she looks good and healthier also start growing.
Thanks for everything dude ;)
@GreenLion,
Always bro. I may not know much but I’m pretty good GH trio. And 7.3 is actually not bad, but you could have excess salt buildup based solely off the amount of nutrients in your mix.
Annother reason is the silica, and recharge. Check the ph of plain water + recharge + armor SI. It’s gonna be high, like 8-8.5 if not higher. I promise when you mix in your calimagic after (or before) if the ph is that high it’ll cause the calimagic to solidify, possibly other nutrients as well.
If you can, check the EC of your nutrient mix. It’ll give you an idea of how strong your mix is. Which is not required but very useful information. I like to aim for 700 ppm, or about .9-1.0 EC for veg and that gradually increases to 900, 1.3 ish and then I finnish late flower with 1100, 1.5EC. You could push it higher but I always lean to the side of less is safer, and in the long run provides a better harvest with less nutrient waste and less attention.
Good luck!
@xanado18, hello, thanks for coment. Your coment realy helps me. I also mix my nuts as you sad, starts with armor si (but never checked PH) then add Calimagic, trio and other nuts. I got PH soil tester and it showed me 7.3-7.5 in my soil, I think it very high. I think its good idea to flush my plan with 6.3 water.
Everything will be okay.
Once again thanks for help and attention.
I agree with xanado about the ph and would say this problem has been building up for a while, my guess is nitrogen lock especially seeing the rusty looking dried nutes that are pushing out through the leaf..... flush for a couple days then back up on the nutes. Ph your r/o to get an idea of whether that's the problem and if it is nutes build up due to the ph range prevent your plant from absorbing them.. If the ph is fine then its probably to much nitrogen. Either way your locked up and the first step is ph. Happy grows.
@Loserofthemonth, Hello, thanks for coment, I think to flush my plant with 6.3 ph water, most of problems are caused by incorect Ph.
Thanks for help ;)
