Day 8;
She was moved indoors yesterday.
Day 10;
I repotted her to an 11 liter fabric pot.
Day 14;
She seems to be one of the strong ones. Thick stem and fast growing.
Day 26;
She has grown well and is outgrowing her space in the tent. I trained her branches outwards today to make her shorter and better shaped.
I'll put her outside to start her flowering shortly.
I improved the space in the tent by adding some frames that'll stop the walls from being sucked inwards.
Day 1 of flower;
SHe's got thick and stiff branches that are strong but difficult to train.
She gets a rough start outdoors with some strong winds. Tonight she'll get a spraying of Neem to prepare her for the outdoor bugs that are sure to come and visit.
I have been disconnected from my ISP and haven't been able to update the diary in a few weeks. Due to poor weather I moved the girls indoors. It's a bit tight, but better than outside at the moment.
Day 24 of flower;
This girl grows super strong. I tried to train her using plastic clips but she just straightened them right out.
Day 41 of flower;
This lady is growing very tall. She has almost grown all the way up to the light, and I had to pull some branches to the side to stop them from being too close to the light. She smells very tropical and she's getting quite sticky.
Day 48 of flower;
This tall lady spreads out everywhere. I have to pull her branches in under the light but she likes to grow. She's getting very sticky and her smell is very tropical.
Day 55 of flower;
She's flowering well. She got some White Powdery Mildew (WPM) that I found yesterday. I washed some off with a wet paper towel, and I sprayed her with H2O2. I also picked some leaves that were badly infected. Today she looks good. I've ordered a Propolis product that will then hopefully make sure the plants won't get the WPM back.
Day 56 of flower;
She's spreading her arms... I've had to tie 2 tops to the side since they were growing too close to the light. Now she's spreading her other branches all over the place trying to nick some rays by the window...
Day 64 of flower;
I'll start to flush her tomorrow morning. She doesn't have long to go. She is full of resin and her smell is a lot better than another Banana I have grown. This smells much more tropical. It's be a tasty one for sure.
This is some very good day time smoke. I was surprised at how tropical and fruity it is. I have grown another Banana strain that smelled nothing like this one. This has become one of my day time favourites lately. She gives a very uplifting high full of joy and smiles and it is strong - I love it!
Unfortunately I wasn't able to give this girl as good conditions as she should have. She started off amazingly, a very strong grower. The reason I thought she was hard to grow was because she grew too strong. She was very hard to train since she broke through all my clips and wires. If she couldn't break her restraints she broke herself instead. She ripped her branches open so I had to untie her. I let her flower for 70 days before harvest.
When I started her outdoors she grew super fast. Unfortunately the winter storms forced me to take her inside together with 3 other girls and place them packed together with not enough space or light. Since she was growing so strong she almost grew past my light. She packed on lots of resin and it tells when you smoke it. It's very potent.
I didn't give her the conditions to grow properly and yield big, but I'm very happy with the taste, smell and effect of what she gave me. A very tasty and strong strain.
I'm growing BTB now and came by to see what to expect. I'm midweek in 7 of flower and the buds are looking so tasty. I didnt get the stretch you got but shes vigorous to say it lightly. Impressive genetics. I'm not really getting the banana but the tangie is right up front and I think I smell a hint of the skunk. Stacking up in that spiral cookies style phenos with the big cola on top. I cant wait for her to be ready. I went a little early on my last grow, for this one I'm going to reqlly make sure shes perfectly timed. Thanks for sharing, super helpful.
Good to hear @Sine_Waves_For_Health,
This is still one of my all time favourites. Out of the 60+ strains I've grown, this is one of very few that I want to grow again.
I hope you'll enjoy yours, mate.
