Special Queen's Life

Jazzvet Hello, welcome to another diary, this time I'm going to try a hybrid strain, Special Queen from Royal Queen Seeds. It's my first cultivation of a photoperiod plant, so may the strength of nature be with me. SEPT 22 - Day 1: Germination: For germination, I used a 3.8L transplant Smart Pot, Light - Mix substrate, a heating mat under the cabinet, and damp cloths to raise the humidity. For watering, I used a 24 ml syringe. SEPT 25 - Day 4: There are still no signs of the seed sprouting, I noticed the soil was a bit dry so I watered with a 24 ml syringe. SEPT 26 - Day 5: Seedling: The seed finally sprouted a beautiful girl, I immediately turned on the light and fan, turning off the heating mat. SEPT 28 - Day 7: I filled the rest of the pot with substrate, thus covering the stem. Then I watered with 2 syringes. To be continued...

Jazzvet 1 Out - 10th day - Watered with 4 syringes of 24 ml. 4 Out - 13th day - I changed the cloths and added a jar of water trying to increase the humidity to 70%. Watered with 240 ml. To be continued...

Jazzvet 7 Out - Day 22 - Watered with 20 syringes 10 Out - Day 19 - Vegetation - The first two 5-finger leaves have emerged, a sign of entering the vegetative phase. I saturated the pot to half its capacity (2 liters of water). 12 Out - Day 21 - I sprayed the leaves with Bioprotect from Green Hope to prevent fungi and pests. To be continued...

Jazzvet 13 Oct - Day 22 - The plant reached 13 cm and 4 true leaves, a good height to start with the fertilizers, 4 ml of Root Juice and 2 ml of Bio Heaven and Active-Vera per liter (2 L Total) 16 Oct - Day 25 - Watered with the same mixture. 19 Oct - Day 28 - I transplanted the plant to a larger pot (7.5 L), it wasn't completely root bound yet but I think it's better to do it sooner rather than later. Watered with 4 liters of water with 16 ml of Root Juice, 4 ml of Fish-mix, and 8 ml of Bio Heaven and Active-Vera. To be continued...

Jazzvet 23 Oct - Day 32 - I switched to a 250w HPS lamp and a stronger extraction. I topped at the third node and cleaned everything below for main-lining and LST on the two branches that remained. 25 Oct - Day 35 - Watered with the 4L mix. To be continued...

Jazzvet 28 Oct - Day 38 - Watered with the mix 30 Oct - Day 40 - I noticed some clawing leaves, maybe because I used All-Mix for the transplant, which means excess nitrogen. I had some doubts about proceeding with the main-lining without the plant being 100% healthy, but I went ahead anyway. So, I took each of the side branches from the 3rd node, but instead of cleaning everything below, this time I only cleaned the 2nd node, leaving me with 8 tops. 31 Oct - Day 41 - Watered with just 2 L of water to flush out excess nitrogen. 3 Nov - Day 44 - Watered with the previous mix. Jazzvet 6 Nov - Day 47 - Watered with the last mix. 9 Nov - Day 50 - I came across some clawing tips again, so I watered again with just pure water. 11 Nov - I removed some fan leaves from the bottom for better air circulation and to focus the plant's energy. 12 Nov - Day 53 - Watered only with Bio-Heaven and Active-Vera. Jazzvet It was a calm week, I hope the girl becomes completely root bounded after another 2 weeks and I switch to 12/12. I've been removing some leaves from the bottom that weren't getting sunlight, as well as a few that are hindering the growth of the new tops. Nov 12 - Day 53 - Watered only with Bio-Heaven and Active-Vera to control the excess nitrogen. Nov 15 - Day 56 - Watered with Bio-Heaven, Active-Vera, and Fish-Mix. Nov 18 - Day 59 - Watered with the previous mix. To be continued...

Jazzvet Everything is going great, the plant is still beautiful and vigorous, next week I should transplant it to a bigger pot. Some fan leaves were removed from the bottom. Nov 21 - Day 62 - Watered with the previous mix. Nov 24 - Day 65 - Watered with the previous mix. To be continued...

Jazzvet Nov 27 - Day 66 - I transplanted the lady into the final pot, I think I put too much soil at the bottom because some were left out, so I covered them with Clay Pebbles to avoid light exposure. Completely watered with plenty of water. Dec 1 - Day 70 - Watered with the previous mixture and added Root Juice to help the roots adapt to their new home. Dec 4 - Day 73 - Watered with the previous mixture. To be continued...

Jazzvet Dec 5 - Day 74 - SCROG net placed. Dec 8 - Day 77 - Watered with the previous mix. Dec 11 - Day 80 - Watered with the previous mix. Cut everything below the SCROG line, one more day of recovery and then switch to 12/12. To be continued...

Jazzvet Dec 12 - Day 81 - Changed to 12 hours of light and 12 hours of darkness. Dec 14 - Day 83 - Watered with 16 ml of Bio-Grow, Active-Vera, and Bio-Heaven. Replaced Fish-Mix with Bio-Grow to activate Flowering. To be continued...

Jazzvet Second week of flowering, the first pistils appeared and the girl is looking gorgeous. I did a final complete defoliation leaving only the potential good buds and everything below the SCROG line. So: Dec 21 - 90th day - Watered with 16 ml of Bio-Grow, Active-Vera, and Bio-Heaven, plus 8 ml of Bio-Bloom. Dec 24 - 93rd day - Watered with the previous mix. Dec 25 - 94th day - defoliation Stay strong Happy Growing

Jazzvet Dec 27 - 96th day - Watered with 8ml Bio-Grow, 24ml Bio-Heaven and Active-Vera, and 16ml Bio-Bloom. Dec 31 - 100th day - Watered with the previous mix. Removed a few more excess fan leaves. Happy growing

Jazzvet Fourth week of flowering, you can clearly see the buds forming. I increased the spacing between waterings to reduce humidity and added a new fertilizer to the Bloombastic mix for a sugar explosion. Jan 4 - Day 104 - Watered with 32ml of Bio-Heaven and Active-Vera, 24ml of Bio-Bloom, 8ml of Bio-Grow, and 4ml of Bloombastic. Jan 8 - Day 108 - Watered with the previous mix. To be continued...

Jazzvet Fifth week of flowering, everything has been going great. I've been watering every 4 days and I turned on a dehumidifier to lower the humidity. I'm going to administer Bloombastic for one more week and then Flush. Happy growing

Jazzvet Sixth week of flowering. The buds are getting denser every day and the trichomes are becoming more opaque; the intention is to harvest as early as possible to have a stone with energetic effects. That's why I did the first week of Flush and I plan to harvest at the end of next week, I hope the buds are well loaded. Health and luck to everyone Happy Growing

Jazzvet After 132 days, the girl is beautiful, most of the pistils are amber, the trichomes are quite cloudy, so it's harvest time! I'll do the wet trimming and dry for 10 days, then a few days to cure and she'll be ready, I hope it's good smoke. Happy growing and stay safe
