18-09-2020 - Placed the seeds in 5.5PH water to soak for 24 hours. They didn't sink till 8 hours after. Soaked Rockwool in 4.6PH water to bring down the PH of the rockwool itself. 19-09-2020 - PH'd the rockwool, it was at 5.6PH. Placed the seeds in the rockwool. Placed the seeds inside a humidity dome. Placed them in the grow tent with a humidifier. I kept the fan running in the tent as the temp and humidity was too high without it on. I tinkered with the humidifier and the fan to keep the temp around 25c and humidity up. Humidity without the humidifier is around 40%, with it, its around 50%. I also kept the light on 24hours to keep the temp up and with the idea that the sprouts would like light when they emerge from the rockwool. 22-09-2020 - All three seeds sprouted from the rockwool. I watered each cube with 10ml of 5.5ph water with 0.25ml/liter with GH Rapid Start. (Probably not a good idea, but i did anyway) The Rockwool dried out entirely. I added another 10mils of 5.6PH water to each cube. Placed them back in the humidity dome. 23-09-2020 - Been watering 10ml to each seedling in the morning and the evening. 24-09-2020 - Gave .25ml/L of Rapid Start and CalMag in the morning. Rockwool is bone dry at watering. Checked on them in the afternoon and the one seedling was bending over. From what I have researched it appears that they arent getting enough water, having checked the rockwool, id have to agree. Im going to increase the watering to 20ml at a time and see how they react.

I have 3, 4 day old seedling. They are in rock wool. I have been giving 10ml of 5.5ph water in the morning, and 10ml at night depending on how dry it is. 2 of them are looking good, one is slightly bent over. Any ideas on what that’s about?

Probably too wet. Might be nothing though.

the slight bending is totally normal seedling stuff, some genetics or phenotypes just have a bit of a harder time the first three weeks, it will grow out of it eventually just keep doing what you're doing. Hope this helps ! 🚀

Abnormal stretching in the seedling phase is a sign of stress. By far, the most common situation that causes seedlings to stretch and topple over is light deprivation. In the same way, taproot digs for water and nutrients, the top part of the plant will stretch vigorously if it is not receiving enough light. So the light needs to be a little closer to prevent the stretching. Hopefully, I answered your question and remember Happy Growing and Free your mind one puff at a time.

Well week one from seed is done. Took 4 days to sprout. Had one that had a slight bend in it yesterday, I gave some additional water and it perked up this morning. I upped the feeding from 10ml as needed to 20ml in the morning and at night. Now to see how it likes that. I’ll give it rapid start and calmag every morning. At .25ml/L. 26-09-2020 - I started to see some roots out the bottom of the rock wool. I transplanted them into a 70/30% coco/perlite. I gave 1ml of micro, grow, bloom, and calmag. Couldn’t find the AN bloom in the options on here. Ppm was 640... high, but I did it anyway. Roast me.
