Hello everyone , we are going today with Gorilla girl XL Auto. what a mouthful. i love GG and this seems to be a good fit for myself
couple of notes about the seeds. i have 100% germination rate on them and to be honest i got way too many seedlings now (in this grow at least)
well done @sweet_seeds!!!!!!!! amazing start
14/9 - Germinated the seeds using RQS starter kit. after having an issue with my outdoor plant. i had to kill her off so i restarted this Diary.
18/9 - Moved into the big bucket of 11L where she will remain for her rest of the life.
20/9 - added new pic and fed them yesterday with Rhizo and and pure zym no food what so ever!
21/9 - 27/9
22/9 new pix are up. She will be fed same as the other diary. Atm only addatives and no real food.
Full spectrum light is on and probably tomorrow I will place a bigger light.
25/9 happy Friday, so far so good nothing to report.
Welcome to the new week, don't forget to bookmark and follow.
28/9 she looks amazing opening her wings! Stay tuned for more
1/10 new pix of her
2/10 adeed another pix, no Food for now.
4/10 I have done lst on the plant as I expect she will soon flower.
Welcome to the new week, don't forget to bookmark and follow.
5/10 - 11/10
She takes training relatively slow in comparison to other strains.
5,6,7th nothing to report besides feeding her.
9, she was fed amazing growth
10, she has a slight deficiency so yesterday she got food.
Hey when you get a bit of green on your dirt, that’s just algae. It won’t hurt the plant in any way. Just looks gross that’s all. You can move the top layer of dirt around so it will slow down the growth of it.
Hope that helps and happy birthday
week of 12/10 - 18/10
Welcome to the new week, don't forget to bookmark and follow.
She is showing steady growth and i foliar sprayed her with Calmag 2.0 which seems to stop the deficiency. she might get some food this week as well. but i'm not sure.
12/10 - Nothing to report
13/10 - Nothing to report
14/10 - Added new Pictures for the diary
15/10 - nothing to report
16/10 - snapped new pix of her
17/10 - snapped a pix
18/10 -
Week of 18/10 - 25/10
Wow! She is growing in an amazing rate, but she shows a bit of deficiency.
I've fed her extra on Saturday so I hope she will kick back..
She also got some cal mag using foilar spray, that seemed to stop the issue for the moment. but I see nitrogen deficiency so I gave her extra
Week of 26/10 - 1/11
Welcome to the new week of this grow. the plant is starting to show some pre-flowering and taking the food quite nicely.
i'm very happy with her progress and i can see the difference between her and her sister that comes from a red variat. whilst this one is quite bushy and tall the other red is airy and tall.
In the next week the plant will be moved into the big tent, and i hope the picture quality will be better and things will look more appealing to the eye.
I found some bugs on my plant today. I removed them manually and isolated the other plant but I don't have enough space in my place for this setup
Wishing for the weekend to come so I could move the plants around
Happy days! She have been moved into the tent and estimated to be chopped off in 3-4 weeks.
I keep feeding her every other day and once a week she gets only water. I don't see a reason to push non stop nuts
Week 11 is closing up for this beauty without any problems. She shows vigorous fattening and hopefully in about 2 weeks will be ready to get chopped.
Week 12/13 will be water regiment for her
Week 12 is closing in fast on us. the days are moving fast and the cycle of life is almost complete.
the beautiful colors are showing on here EVERYWHERE :-) the development from last week to this week is simply staggering.
I simply can't touch her without gloves as the resin is like super glue.
The weekend ends, and this plants life ends as well.
I have chopped down the plant and will post the harvest reviews once it will be dried out.
She is super frosty and has couple of huge tops.
Thanks to @sweet_seeds for sponsoring this growth!
#staysafe and watch the space for more updates.
Preface:
Welcome to the finish line! It has been a very quick and successful journey. The strain is simply amazing to grow and super simple.
The Process:
Germination was a breeze, same as vegetation.
the plant took extra food and was very hungry. once she showed a bit of deficiency I've increased the nutrient levels to accommodate the needs (using BioCanna with a dosage of 1.2 quantity)
she was attacked by white leaf hoppers which died in a quick war with a biologic pesticide :-)
Throughout the flowering stage the buds were so sticky gloves were mandatory and even a brushing against them will leave resin everywhere on my fingers and hands.
The plant was Dry-Trimmed after 7 days of drying at roughly 65RH and 22C
The Results:
Fat, dense and sticky buds with an exceptional sweet and citrusy smell. they are currently curing for 2 weeks and will be tested tonight during Christmas Dinner. (well.. the guests will try during dinner, Me? …. smoked a bit last week was awesome😎)
Improvements for my next run:
I have made several mistakes with this plant and I think next time the yield will be significantly higher than this time. the plan will be to top it rather than just perform LST.
This plant can go for roughly 13 weeks and has quite a long Veg stage (for me it took about 5-6 weeks)
Final Thoughts:
lastly, @sweetseeds , thank you for the opportunity to review this strain, it was a pleasure growing it. its one of my favs.
and to the most important person in the world, my GF who smells everyday weed because of me :-)
#STAYSAFE, #KEEPGROWING
The grow was interesting one as it started under low wattage lights and make-shift setup. once the tent got cleared from the previous grow the girl went in to finish the rest of the flowering period.
This showed me that weed can grow in non-optimal conditions and still produce quite nice end product. I will continue to put plants everywhere i got space (at least for the veg stage)
thanks for reading my diaries and I wish you all a happy new year!!
#STAYSAFE
Congratulations! Nice work 👏
Thank you very much for trusting our strains, and sharing your experience.
And thank you very much again for the score of 9 out of 10!! You are the best👏😍❤️
We hope you enjoy the harvest 👌
Sweet smokes!

@sweet_seeds, thanks for the reply! The strain was really amazing and good smoke. I will definitely grow this strain again. The rest of the seeds will go into my seeds bank.
