Got a better timer for automatic watering but haven't set it up yet. Repotted to 1 gallon pots. Lowered light a bit and increased the dimmer dial back to 100% from about 50%
Having better color after increasing nutrients a bit. Repotted into 3 gallon containers at the end of the week and moved them into the larger 4x4 tent. Noticed the bottoms of the containers were kind of dry despite being recently watered so I'll started watering/fertigating more.
These plants sure are hungry for nutrients compared to my previous grows. The one plant insists on growing the one cola so tall despite LST. I'm glad I have the 4 smaller lights so I can dial in the proper distance for each plant.
A bit late posting this week because I lost power due to an ice storm for 6 days, starting the middle of the last day of week 6. So not a lot of progress will be visible for week 7.
Had a power outage lasting most of this week. I did manage to get some outdoor time and a bit of generator power for my tent the last days of the outage though. I was worried mold or root rot might set in while they were in the dark, but luckily I don't see evidence of that. I did leave the tent open to prevent humidity build up and to allow some fresh air flow. I also held off on watering during the 4 or 5 days they were in the dark.
Brown tips on some of the leaves so I reduced the nutrients a bit and started trying to water more to waste. I'm not sure what's up with the one plant with all the leaf issues. Its seemed like something or another has been off with it from the beginning and now the colas are starting to look like it could be different strain from the others.
Looks like some of the trichomes are getting close to being ready to harvest. Naturally there's a lot of variation per plant on how close to harvest they appear to be. Always a bit of a pain when the grow tent is also the drying room. Probably tomorrow I'll take a look with the magnifier and see if I should start thinking about flushing soon.
Had a hard time getting good trichome photos this time. Very little trimming to do on harvest and then the trim after drying took way less time than my other grows. The large cola pictured turned out to have mold in it so I tossed it. It was from the one plant that grew strange from day 1. The rest of the buds from that plant were still kind of wet and since I didn't want to risk contams from that plant anyway I just broke up the flowers and froze them with the rest of my trim. So the total flower weight is a bit lower and the total trim weight a bit higher than it would have been otherwise.
Total dry flower yield: 10.5 oz
Total dense trichome trim yield: 6 oz
