Proper nutes are on the way so for now they are getting what I have on hand: dr earth’s and kelp fertilizer. They moved from peat starter soil into coco/perlite that I washed and buffered. They also got an organic transplant stress powder.
Plants seemed to have N deficiency so they started getting some miracle grow (lol) that I had on hand.
Full proper nutes showed up at the end of this week and the plants perked up immediately
Slow going, things speed up next week when I upgraded to a 450W full spectrum LED. I’m following Dr Coco’s nute schedule, this week everyone was getting late veg nutes. I noticed preflower on my blue dream auto and cbd auto at the end of this week.
Major light upgrade at the beginning of this week, plants showed a lot of new growth. Photos got topped and I started trying to LST my flowering autos...
Training continues. I fimmed one of the chemdogs and that didn’t seem to work, going to stick with topping. Autos are getting (mostly) dr coco's "mid bloom" nute recommendations. The growth has really taken off under the new light over the past 2 weeks.
I am noticing several differences between the two blue dream plants despite receiving the same nutrients/conditions. One has light green new growth and irregular burnt spots on new leaves. The other plant’s color seems healthy and there are no spots but it is smaller and it’s leaves are pointing up. The pink lush cbd is a beautiful purple. Tent is starting to smell for sure.
i realized that my light has been to close and moved it up to 23-6 inches (from 18-21inches) at the end of this week. otherwise the plants are doing great. my 4 "wedding cake" bagseed plants have started to show that they are female.
Cbd is looking nice! I think 2-3 weeks until harvest. Blue dream seem to need more time. Using the microscope was very exciting, I think I got the hang of it, I dont see any amber trichomes.
I found a few amber trichs on my cbd plant. I think I will start flushing the end of this week. Some growdiaries of this strain would have already harvested but some grew for longer, and Seedsman recommended shorter than was needed.
