Things got hectic during the majority of the grow and I was not able to upload anything like I had wanted.
I vegged for 10 weeks in total and am in the 8th week of flower. Ran 18 on and 6 off for veg.
The soil that I have used is Fox Farm Ocean Forest soil amended with Mykos Mycorrhizae, Worm Castings, Perlite, and a line of Down to Earth Products(Bio-Live, Granular Humic Acids, Kelp Meal)
I transplanted into the 3 gal pots in week 2 and then I topped both plants in the same week of veg.
Gave a top dressing of worm castings and a little azomite on week 3.
Gave a top dressing of worm castings, kelp meal, feather meal, and seabird guano 8 weeks into veg. Defoliated the same day that I gave the top dressings.
Gave a top dressing of worm castings, kelp meal, seabird guano, and azomite exactly two weeks into flower.
This week has been easy taking care of the ladies. They have been doing quite well. They are starting to get a little purple on the tips of the leaves and have some amazing looking orange hairs. The smell is definitely on the fruity side. A little bit of strawberry comes through which is awesome.
All in all I cannot wait until they are ready to come down. I am still seeing some clear trichomes but the majority are cloudy now. I'm gonna wait another week, maybe two before taking them down.
I harvested two days ago on the 10th of February so have not had a chance to sample it yet. I'm hoping to get at least a 10 day dry but we have really low humidity right now so its a chore keeping it above 45% rh. Then I want to do at least a month of cure, probably closer to 5 or 6 weeks cure. Will definitely update as I test it along that journey.
The first plant had 209g and the second had 252g wet. Will update with dry weight in the next week or so - once its in.
2_15_2021 - Had a little nug fall off(0.5g dry weight) - it was perfectly dry and so I tried it. So far I love this strain!!
- It has an amazing scent - like raspberries or strawberries being stewed for a jam/jelly
- the hit is pretty harsh (expected for just dried without a cure) and definitely caused some coughing
- the inhale has an intense incense like taste and the exhale is more floral with an undertone of raspberry
- my eyes felt a little heavy pretty immediately and about 5 hits in had a real sense of calm
- after 10 minutes or so after the whole bowl I felt really energetic and had a desire to do something creative
- i ended up playing music for a little over 30 minutes and felt amazing (lost in the moment and definitely a sense of euphoria while playing)
- after playing i felt a little hungry and definitely had some cottonmouth.
- before eating there is still a taste of raspberry/strawberry jam.

-After an 8 day dry I trimmed everything and put it all in jars. I ended up with 78.5g of good flower and I ended up with 66g of larf. I will run that and make some hash in a couple of weeks.
-the smoke on it is a little less harsh than before but still puts you into a coughing fit.
-the inhale is still very heavy incense but now it has a little more of a floral note as well
-the exhale is pleasant, kind of like tasting a wild raspberry that's a little over ripe.
-still definitely felt the eyes get heavy and after about 10 minutes felt a nice spurt of creativity. Wrote a lot this time but this strain will work wonders for you if you are in a creative
slump

-Today marked the first full week of cure. I gave it a taste and it was really pleasing.
-When burping the jars over the week the smell of grape and raspberry candy hits you on the nose immediately. On the second whiff I get more incense/perfume smells. Its really amazing!!
-Immediately after taking a hit you get the taste of incense/perfume on your tongue. The exhale leaves you with some of the grape candy taste.
-It is still fairly harsh and definitely causes some coughing.
-The grape taste stays with you for the next half hour or so and then the cottonmouth really kicks in. Definitely stay hydrated.
-Still feel very creative and have a desire to make/play/do/sing/write things. I played guitar and wrote for an hour right after a bowl and was in the perfect creative zone. That space where nothing else matters other than what you are focused on. It takes away all of the noise and frustration in your head and tosses it out. Anything that helps me get into that state is more than welcome.
Growing Info:
Lighting: 20/4 for the first ten days of seedling and veg stage. 18/6 for the next 63 days until the flip to flower. 13/11 for the entire 63 days of flower
Topped 30 days in veg.
Defoliated 61 days into veg
Amended: Day 10 Veg - Worm Castings and Kelp Meal
Day 17 Veg - Bio-Live and All Purpose 4-6-2
Day 61 Veg - Worm Castings, Kelp Meal, Seabird Guano, Azomite Powder, Rose and Flower Mix 4-8-4
Day 13 Flower - Seabird Guano, Azomite Powder, Feather Meal, Rose and Flower mix 4-8-4
Repotted the girls 10 days into veg into a 3 gallon pot each. I left them in the 3 gallon pots the entire grow - this was maybe the biggest mistake I made. They really need to be in bigger pots, at least 5 maybe 7 gallons each.
Overall I am super happy with my results - I could have had more to end up with but being my first grow I feel good about what I've got. Would definitely recommend this for beginners to growing.
Overall this strain was fairly easy to grow. Both had some pH issues early on in veg but that was really just my user error. Once I got that sorted out it was super easy to grow. It has only been drying for two days so I have not been able to get the dry weight yet nor have I tasted it yet. It smells incredible - berries with an undercurrent of fresh cut grass. Really amazing!!
I've given most of the update info above - but just wanted to say that I am really looking forward to seeing how this strain cures up. It smells incredible and looks amazing. So far the smoke has been really nice - Ill be trying it again a week into cure and will give a small update when I try it again.
Good Luck with everything Growmies!!!
@BDar_medicine, thank you so much!! I've already got my second up and going, some Putang (mms), Strawberry Cough (dutch passion), and Khem Kardashian (bred by a forum friend). All just got planted and are in the first week of veg today.
I only had pH issues when I tried watering more than every 4 days. I also found that it responded really well to me pHing the water between 6.5 and 7.0.
If I tried watering too much or with a lower pH(6.0-6.4) I got signs of nute lockout due to pH imbalance. Runoff I was getting tested around 5.6 to 6.1.
I didn't really have any problems from about week 5 of veg until the 3rd week of flower. Then it started popping back up. I had read that humic acids help so I top dressed with a little of down to earth's humic acid dry amendment and let them dry out for 5 days after watering the humic in. It took another week before it bounced back.
5 days in between watering and a mid to high pH ended up being the magic for me with it.
Also, I started watering about half from the top and then watering the tray underneath to let it soak that up from the bottom as that seemed to help.
Honestly not sure if any of that helps...I'll have to go back and check notes later and see if there is anything I missed. Good luck though...super stoked to see how they turn out for you!!
@avid_grow, nice work there. Especially as you say it is your first grow! ... I imagine your next run will be even better.
The taste sounds fantastic.
My MMS - Chick Magnet is starting some strong funky smells, I have some weeks to go yet (I'm in the middle of week 7 of flower with her).
I'm curious what you did to help with ph issues during your grow. I have ph issues with one of my plants (7weeks into flower)I'm hoping to sort out soon so I can get her across the line for harvest in reasonable shape.
@GYOweed, ya, where I live I get really low rh so I try to leave the fan leaves on to get a slower dry. Managed 8 days with the Star Pupil and feel pretty good about that.
@The_Bearded_Grower, Thank you - this is my first grow ever. It has been so exciting with so many ups and downs. Had to move the ladies 3 times during veg and I've had some PH problems but they have held steady. 👍
