Looking for a Keeper Cream of the crop seeds Purple Paralysis 2nd October 2020 So with a heap of this strain still curing in jars , I am starting another Purple Paralysis seed from the Cream of the crop seed company 👌 This time I'm going to be keeping her in veg so that I can take cuttings and potentially keep her as a full time Mother plant 😎 I'll be using Soil and organic supplements like worm castings and Compost teas etc . So here we go again with the Purple Paralysis. Thanks for stopping by 👍

Looking for a Keeper Cream of the crop seeds Purple Paralysis 30th October 2020 I decided to let this one go outside to veg as the daylight hours are now 13+ hours and we are getting plenty of sunshine here so I thought why not use it to my advantage. I should be able to take a few cuttings this week so that will be my mission for the moment. Just feeding her plain water ph 6.4 Cheers for stopping by 👍

Looking for a Keeper Cream of the crop seeds purple paralysis 6th november 2020 Purple Paralysis is looking good , I took some cuttings three days ago and so far they look ok. fingers crossed they take so I can confirm the strains ability to produce clones on a regular basis. Of the four cuttings I took , 3 were done the traditional way by dipping the end of the cutting into some hormone gel ( purple clonex) and gently inserting them into a premoistened rockwool cube. The 4th cutting I simply placed directly into a small container filled with plain water so that half the stem is submerged. I have done this to see if there is any difference in the time it takes for the cuttings to "root" if they do at all that is. I keep all of the cuttings under a humidity dome and fluro tube style light on an 18/6 cycle. The main plant remains outside in the natural conditions and just over 13 hours of daylight per day. Ive done this for two reasons the main one being to Harden the strain to the harsh environment here and the second is I am saving money in electricity costs by vegetating her outside rather than under lights. That's about it for this weeks update , hopefully next week I will be able to happily say that the cuttings have roots. Cheers for stopping by 👍

Looking for a Keeper Cream of the crop seeds Purple Paralysis 13th November 2020 Flowering with Mars Hydro TSW2000 Okay Trend setters the three clones look good and have successfully Rooted. Sooo I put the Mum plant into flower as I just love the smoko from this one. 👌 The three cuttings i can use for whatever purpose I choose from vegging them for an outdoor grow later this Summer??? Or even making some fem crosses with other strains with STS solution??? I don't expect a good yield from the plant in flower simply because I removed a heap of branches to make the clones but what I do get will be Good. Thanks once again for stopping by 👍

Looking For a Keeper Cream of the crop seeds Purple Paralysis 25th November 2020 If you read my other update for the High level x Peyote WiFi grow you would have read that due to not being able to protect the plants from a major heatwave I lost the Original plant to heatstress. Luckily I still have two clones that I will now need to Reveg so that not all is lost. I will now need to repot them into bigger pots , I'm super busy so will leave it there Thanks for stopping by 👍

Looking for a Keeper Cream of the crop seeds Purple Paralysis 3rd December 2020 Welcome back 😀 I am still looking for a mother plant but will now need to use the two clones . I've planted them directly into a raised bed filled with soil , manure and mulch I plant to use a fair bit of training to keep them both bushy and productive , with all of the lowest branches being able to be turned into more cuttings. Cheers for stopping by 👍

Looking For a Mother Plant cream of the crop seeds Purple Paralysis 29th December 2020 Hey All Merry Christmas!! I lost a few of my Plants to the Heat whilst I was away , but luckily not these two lovely ladies. 😀 They are both starting to get their groove on now and I expect them to get a fair bit bigger and bushier by the time Flowering starts in 6-8 weeks time. I have ordered some Organic Guano pellets to help with the Bloom stage so hoping for some big Stinky buds . Thanks for stopping by 👍

Looking For a Keeper cream of the crop seeds Purple paralysis 12th January 2021 Explosive week of veg with these two lovely ladies, I also now have 5 cuttings that have taken 😎 Today I recieved in the post 3 kg of guano pellets and I did not waist time applying a good handful of it to each plant. I watered it in well and hope to see some serious results in the coming weeks. I'll also top the plants one more time before they begin to flower , giving me maximum budsites 👌 Thanks once again for stopping by 👍

Looking For a Keeper cream of the crop seeds purple paralysis 19th January 2021 Last week I mentioned that I was going to top them both one more time, however that plan changed as I noticed that the plants are in full stretch mode and will soon be flowering 😎 So instead of topping them again I fed them with some of the left over Greenhouse feeding "bio bloom" I simply sprinkled 4 spoonfuls around the base of each plant and watered it in well. We had quite a good drop of rain yesterday which unfortunately ruined an auto plant and put the other auto's in peril if the rain were to continue..... But on the brightside this rain has also revitalised my entire garden and I could hear the cacophany of many frogs in the garden lastnight. 😆 So now that the flowering is about to begin I'll start to concentrate on providing plenty of Organic nutrients so that I get a good Harvest. That is all for this weeks update , Cheers for stopping by 👍

Looking For a Keeper cream of the crop seeds purple paralysis 26th January 2021 Hey all 😀 It has been another fantastic week for growth and these plants are now looking capable of producing a fine harvest 👌 In Hindsight I should have planted them further apart and used a lot of Training to allow the branches more exposure to the sunshine but that is something I can learn from and put into effect the next time I grow outside. As for the "mother plant" aspect of this diary I am having a hard time getting the cuttings I have to reveg and start growing again I'm down to two that are still alive but look pretty ordinary , It will be a bummer to lose the strain because I would need to source the seeds again and with the covid situation , they are very hard to import here in Australia with NO shipments being allowed into the Country from Spain which is where a hell of a lot of the seed banks operate from. Never the less If I cannot sustain the strain I will track down some new beans of Purple Paralysis somehow. That is it for this weeks update , Thanks again for stopping by 👍

Looking For a Keeper cream of the crop seeds purple paralysis 2nd February 2021 Another week of stretch!!! finally some bud action happening too. 😀 Found a few bloody caterpillars today so I will have to make up some spray to fuck them off Quicksmart 👿 I also plan on adding another small handful of Guano sometime this week . I let the soil dry for a day before adding some great white mycorrhizae so that it got straight to the hungry root system 💪 Not really anything else to report so will leave it there. Looking For a Keeper cream of the crop seeds Purple paralysis 24th February 2021 5 weeks of flowering down and I've had a few dramas this week....... Firstly a thunderstorm ripped thru and snapped a few branches that I had to "mend" with some good old tape. I also needed to add ropes to help support the long branches. The second thing that is happening is a Catterpillar attack 😠 After the recent rains I have noticed hundreds of butterflies and Moths flying around my garden which in turn equals bloody little plant eating catterpillars. I have made up a strong mix of chilli and garlic that I intend to spray all over my garden asap. Other than those couple of issues the plants are still growing nicely and the buds are stacking up and developing lots of sticky resin glands. 👌 Cheers for stopping by 👍

Looking For a Keeper cream of the crop seeds purple paralysis 6th March 2021 Firstly I apologise for the delay on this update , it was due 3 days ago. We had a rather heavy storm with copious amounts of rain over the last few days which really threatened the plants survival. The branches were so heavy with the falling water that they were almost touching the ground 😦 I did my best to support them but now I am in a constant battle with mold and bloody caterpillars . The yield will definately suffer big time and if we don't get a decent period of dry weather I'm afraid I'll lose even more. This is the stage of flowering when the bulk of fattening up happens so I really hope they can atleast provide me with a nice end result ................................. Heres hoping & cheers for stopping by 👍

Looking For a Keeper cream of the crop seeds purple paralysis 10th March 2021 So Far So Good for these two , it hasn't rained again since the last downpour but the clouds hanging around this afternoon look very ominous indeed. 😐 I only water early morning now so that the soil is fairly dry again on top by the time the sun sets in the evening. this is to limit the extra moisture that could hinder the plants resistance to mold . I also gave them a good old feed of my Worm castings tea mixed with Mollasses & Seaweed mix. 💪💪 Cheers for stopping by 👍

Looking For a Keeper cream of the crop seeds purple paralysis 17th March 2021 8 Weeks of flowering Done 😎 I am still copping constant attacks from tiny little caterpillars that get inside the buds causing necrosis . 😣 After picking off all of the big green pillars I thought I'd got on top of the issue only to then find little grey ones that are very hard to locate and because the buds only have two weeks left I do not want to spray anything near them. Soooo I guess i'll just have to keep removing what I can until the Harvest Day . Buds are Starting to make the branches bend over as they stack up and getting nice and frosty despite the damage those leaf munching bloody caterpillars have done so far. I have only been giving water lately but will give them both a mix of Seaweed and mollasses this week as a final push towards Harvest 😀 Thanks once again for stopping by 👍

Looking For a Keeper cream of the crop seeds purple paralysis 24th March 2021 9 Weeks of flowering finished and the branches are feeling the weight now and are bending all over the place . I can see lots of sparkling trichomes all over the buds and they are smelling really really good now 😀 👌 Some of the buds , sugar leaves even have some purple coming out on them which looks really cool. I'm gonna chop off a couple of random buds Tonight to dry and sample but the rest of the plants will be officially Harvested right on week 10 Early in the morning next Wednesday 😀 Until then I'm just giving them plain water during the day and picking off the odd caterpillar. It's certainly been a long journey 26 weeks of growth which is 6 Months!! 😯 anyway now it's getting close I can soon enjoy the bounty of my efforts which should be atleast a pound of the Good stuff after the trim. That's all for this weeks update next week I'm a chopping them down. Thankyou for stopping by 👍

Looking For A Keeper cream of the crop seeds purple paralysis 2nd April 2021 First of all ... Phew!!!! That was a long grow!! I've done all of the Main trimming and have a heap of Jars full of Stinky Buds ready to begin the curing process. 😍😍 It was a challenge growing in new conditions during Summer with Temps often getting above 45 degrees celcius Thunderstorms and High winds became an issue once or twice and finally the worst part was the Bloody Caterpillars 😣 Those buggers gave me the absolute shits for the last 5 weeks of the plants life . These plants actually started from clones taken from a Purple paralysis plant that I was hoping to flower last year. However due to an unavoidable trip away I lost that plant but the clones survived. So then my plan became to plant them both into a garden bed filled with my soil mix which basically consisted of locally sourced Red dirt and washed river sand mixed with Cattle manure , worm castings , garden lime and Lucerne mulch. The Plants thrived thru the summer months and into Autumn and ended up yielding 19 ounces plus Lots of good quality trim. I love this strain and have definately found myself a Keeper in this one . I'd really like to get the oppurtunity to try other strains from Cream of the crop seeds and maybe I will before too long. I wont go into too much more detail about the grow and how it played out , instead I put up some pics from various stages of the plants progress as they say pictures are worth a thousand words. 😀 Thanks must be said to you all for checking in from week to week and for the likes left I truly appreciate it. 🙏 Well thats the end of my 6 month long diary I hope you liked it and thanks for stopping by 👍👍
