I saw that they had enough nodes for LST so i went ahead and started training. I also gave them a soil drench of a compost tea that contained Great white mychorrizae, voodoo juice, and unsulfered blackstrap mollasses. This was to enhance the soils microbial life to get my auto started with Bigger roots in the smart spot. All of the items were organic and I dont think it will harm the plants. Do you think i started training too early? Was this the best way to introduce fungi and bacteria into my soil?

One Plant developed a white line discoloration and i diagnosed it as a leaf miner which is a pest that is inside the leaf draining nutrients. I also discovered WPM(White powdery mildew) and What looked like tiny white bugs on the bottom a fan leaf on another plant in the grow room(so maybe spider mites?). I misted all plants and topsoil with neem oil which is an organic pestocide. I braced the plants so the rootball wouldnt pop out during LST then tied all plants as horizontally as i could get them without blocking or hurting growth sites. Within 3 hours of that, i saw growth in those sites. On day 23 i will do a half serving(1tsp/gal) of Grow big becuase i read that ocean forest soil starts to run out of nutes around week 3 or 4 so im doing a test run before i start giving normal amount at week 4 if these dont flower before then Upgraded to a gixxer 1000 watt led from a kingLED600w I added a new mars hydro ts1000 I added a Small air circulator I added a Yeast, sugar, water mix in a jug to create cO2 Plants got lightburned at 17inc directly under mars hydro ts 1000. Thats why i raised it to 22inch. They are drinking about 3 solo cups full of water with my mentioned nutes in it every 2-3 days. Day 24 and im thinking i should have done a topsoil feed since the “ocean farm” soil starts to run out around week 3 or 4. With that being said, a leaf or two turned slightly yellow so i will be top dressing with veg stage dry amendments on day 28 to carry me through the next 3 weeks since I expect these autos to go into flower within the next 2 weeks.

Plants are responding well to LST and are growing fast. I mistakingly broke off a branch that was growing into one of the most promising sites. I tried to tape it up with gotilla tape and that did not work as the next morning the branch had all droopy foliage. I top dressed with 6tablebspoons od dr.earth organic veg nutes and 6table spoons of the flower girl organic nutes. I also added worm castings. I fed with grow big because i know the soil was running out of nutrients that it started with but the organic nutrients would take about a week to start becoming available. This week the. Plants will he fed with Grow big twice to hold them over in nutrients untill the organic nutes start kicking in. I added flower girl because i am expecting these to go into flower within the next 2 weeks. The organic nutrients will kick in around that time and will take me through the stretching phase.

Pistols are showing this week and the plants seem to have started stretching. The plant that i broke a branch on recovered but it is no longer the best of the 4 white widows. The Dr.earth top dressing i did last week should be taking effect this week so i will only give a small amount of Grow big nutrients. I’m still adding grow big because i dint want there to be a gap in nutrition. I believe that since a lot of foliage and branch development happens during the stretch, it still needs that Nitrogen. I am still adding voodoo juice and mychorizae for two reasons. The first is that while the stretching is happening, roots are supposed to devolop rapidly and i want them strong. The second is that i have 2 seedlings in my garden that need it so i have left over nutrient solution anyways.(checkout my profile to learn about the seedlings). Toward the end of This week i will be adding a bloom booster to increase bud sites along my branches. I did my weekly LST and i think I’ll have to just go ahead and use the scrog net next week. I was hoping i didnt have to because i currently have 9 plants(4 different strains) in my 4x4 tent. More space will be made for them soon though. Day 37: i defoliated the 1st and 3rd biggest WW to compare them against the 2nd and 4th biggest at the end of the grow. The aim is to see which technique is better for autos. Tucking vs defoliation. I also wanted to see how stress affected these plants and which will give me a bigger yield. The day after, i saw that the defoliated plants definetly grew taller and bounced back the morning after the defoliation. I also turned plants for even light penetration

The stretching was significant. The plants were left unattended and one got burned. I have broken 3 broken off of the biggest plant in mistake. The plants bounce back quickly. One stem was bent by mistake in a “supercropping” fashion. It didnt splitbor crack the branch so i taped it up and will let it develop the knuckle. I gavr them another feed of 8tblspn of flower girl and and 6tblspn of veg stage dr.earth nutes. LsT took forever and was very needed. Plants were growing tall They have been rotated to optimize growth. Day 19 of flower: I did my week 3 defoliation 2 days earlier than scheduled due to Personal time restrictions. I took away large fan leaves and any fan leaves that were going to grow towards The middle of the plants. I also cleared out the middle of the plants so that oxygen would flow better and humidity could be controlled. This is the only major defoliation that has/will take place for these autos. Other than that i will only defoliate what i cant tuck up untill week5 then i will do a light defo on fan leaves that are blocking bud sites while they finish develop Lesson learned: Dont tie plants to where they grow to mishapen. Make it grow slightly off pattern so that it still grows vertically but not bunching up and still exposing new budsites

Should i lollipop White Widow Autos? I want my top colas to be large and i dont want to take the chance on my plants trying to expend energy on branches that wont produce good bud. On the other hand, i dont want to stress the plants out to much by cutting the small branches off.

Go for it. Save a lot of trimming work. Larf buds are such a nuisance. Widow tends to have ball shape buds and the lower branches are like pin heads full of leaves. I would plan to trim off half the amount on one day. And the other half in the next.

I am doing my final top Dressing at the end of this week so that it can deplete around week 9. I’m going to take off about 4 of the biggest fan leaves every couple of days to help those bud sites get more light without too much stress. Two of the autos have been lollipoped and two havnt. This way i can see the difference in bud size with the two different styles of grow. The grow is also solkt in half with defoliation. The plants on the left will receive less intensive defoliation and more of the “tucking” technique will be applied. The goal is to see *how much does stress have on the white widow auto* i used two plants for both styles to factor in that all plants grow different.

I did a pretty big defoliation this week. I didnt expect the plants to get so bushy but i noticed there were plenty of bud sites being covered so i chopped. The plants are starting to give a very noticeable fruit smell. I installed a spider farmer sf 4000 grow light and put them in a 4x8ft tent. I also added and extra fan to help circulate air. I am still using home made co2 amd it is hanging in the tent

Bud sites are thickening up. Smell is getting stringer Lights may be to close to plants. Im getting a taco leaf on one of the tallest bud sites. ———————— Week 6 day 2 of flower Branches are falling over because the buds are to heavy I tied branches to themselves and other branches that needed support. There are very distinct differences in the readiness of the buds. Far right: 2nd closest and 2nd biggest plant Far left: 3rd biggest and 2nd closest to being done Front right:biggest plant, buds are no where near as done looking as the others. Front left: smallest plant and closest to being done. This estimate is based on the bud structure and browning of hairs. This plant was also suffering from having a spider farmer sf-4000 grow light 11inches above it. I opened the plants up and did light defoliation for better light penetration . I took maybe 6 leaves per plant

Buds are fatning up. The furthest one along will be flushed in day 59 of flower.day 78 ovr The over drive made a noticeable overnight difference the first time i used it but i will not be using it for two of the plants as they will be ready for flushing soon Edit The one i chose to flush has runoff Of 280. The leaves alhave started turning colors since the flush on the 3rd day of week 7 The leaves are getting very nice “fall colors”.

Checking trichomes for harvest: I am noticing that Some of yhe plants have amber trichomes but i feel like my buds could still grow more than they have. Its also only week 7 of flower and this is not a fast flowering auto. Should i start flushing anyways?

Yeah @DoDrugs429 he's right. Still lots of time for her to developpe trichs and fatten up... Don't lok at sugarbleafs overall amberness, but ratther at the buds clear to milky/amber ration. There should be almost no clear trichs in the areas you looks. More arounds the predicted harvest time of your strain more or less. But the giving time is usually an indicator to start looking and prepare for harvest..

3 plants had buds that were falling over very badly. I began the flushing process and will switch over to just water to finish out. 1 plant wont be ready for about 2 more weeks. 2 plants Are in perfect health(besides fallings buds) 1 plant had an emergency harvest due to light and heat stress causing the buds to shrink over night. I wont post the numbers untill all plants are finished. As a hint, the stressed plant gave 6oz of wet from me cutting only 3 tops and a satellite branch

Buds were all falling over. Supporting weight of the buds is way more important than i thought. Managing plant growth shape should be started right at the beginning
