I'm a FastBuds fan and looking forward to their take on the Blackberry. I'm hoping by the time she flowers the cooler fall temps will entice some serious purples. First week of germination has been great. She popped rather quickly. For this week I'll include the germination/first week all in one. Things have been steady and healthy so far 😀

Another wonderful week of growth for this lady. I began LST this week and she seems to be responsive. I'll continue to alternate watering between a nutrient mix and plain water ph'd at 6. Stay safe and happy growing everyone.

Another wonderful week of growth for this beauty. She has been very receptive to LST and has been growing vigorously since. I added some blackstrap molasses to the watering this week. Other than that it's been a straightforward but great week.

This was a good week but slow week of growth. I did heavily defoliate early in the week but she recovered exceptionally well. We also adjust the LST. I will continue this regiment into next week.

We are in week 7 and no signs of flowering. She is behaving more like a fem than an auto but again, I think it's all the training and stress I've put her through. I'll continue this regiment until I'm ready to put her under 12/12. Unless of course by some miracle she begins flowering.

Continuing to push this auto as far as I can with just LST and defoliation. I have a couple of plants still a few weeks out before going into 12/12 I'd like to wait on this one until then if she doesn't flower first :)

Continuing to push week after week until we're ready for the 12/12 switch or she flowers. Other than that I've noticed I've been all over the map with my nutrients with this grow. I'm not really sure what to expect from here. As long as she's healthy we're along for the journey.

This will be the full final week before transplant into another tent. I'm loving her structure but as an auto she's yet to bloom. I'm going to see if a 12/12 light cycle helps with this. I'll continue the same regiment into next week. Stay safe and happy growing everyone 😀

This was another typical week at this point ;) Nothing new to report other than today we are moving her into a new tent. This will be under HPS lights set at 12/12. We'll see if this is the jumpstart she needs to begin flowering. Other than that I've continued my watering regiment and have defoliated and adjusted LST in preparation for today. Let's hope I have some exciting news by nest week. Stay safe everyone and happy growing.

It finally happened!!! After 11 weeks of veg and switching to 12/12 light schedule she finally began to flower. I could not be more excited. Other than that exciting news it was a regular week of nutrient/plain watering. I also heavily defoliated today to allow her to really put her energy into those top bud sites. I also adjusted the LST to maximize space. I'm really looking forward to seeing how things shape up this coming week. As always any and all feedback is welcome. Stay safe and happy growing 😀

Week 2 in flowering and she's really doing well. today I did some defoliation but other than that it's been alternating between plain ph water and a nutrient blend. I'll continue this into next week. Just one happy and healthy plant. Other than that, not much to report. Stay safe and happy growing everyone. 😀

@MrJones, Me too brother. I'm about to harvest the cali snow so I should be able to make room in the other tent after it dries. I have a few other plants that are ready for 12/12 so that will be a perfect test. I'll keep you posted.

Didn't have good luck with this strain, mine was from lineage genetics... not very good. Hopefully you have better luck!

@Treighfunky, ive had some autos that went very long...and it was nice. They ended up sooo big. But they did throw me off on whether they were actually autos or not. Did you raise the hours after the 12/12?
Treighfunky
Treighfunkycommented4 years ago
@Experimentgreen, I really appreciate you stopping through with the love. This really picked up my spirits for the day. Much love. I just can't believe it took 11 weeks and 12/12 to get this lady to start flowering. I'm really excited to see how that affects an auto.

You pimpin for fastbuds? 😂
Experimentgreen
Experimentgreencommented4 years ago
@Treighfunky, haha I'm just messing with you. I used to think the same thing about autos...that they were easier, friendlier, forgiving... but as I've gone on I've had much better success at saving and fixing problems with photoperiod plants. Autos are like a ticking time bomb for me and sometimes I just don't have the time to fix things. You should see the autos in my tent right now...they'd terrify you, it's like a horror film in there! 😂😂😂

Treighfunkycommented4 years ago
@Experimentgreen, 😂, I know it looks that way. Believe it or not I do have seeds from other breeders. As a new grower with only a few grows under my belt, autos have been more friendly to the impatient rookie ;) That being said I've just had extremely consistent and great luck with FastBuds genetics. I am doing a new run with mostly fems and these will all be from different breeders 😀👍 But............... If FastBuds kicked me some seeds to grow, I mean.....

@Fast_Buds, Thank you so much again for stopping through. You are one of the only breeders that do that with consistency. It always gives me a little thrill to get a message from the FastBuds team. Thank you for the support and great genetics. You've got a great team over there.

@Treighfunky I am feeling like most purple strains are just weird, the good news is if a 12/12 light cycle works then you have had a very nice veg period and should produce a good amount of flower - good luck my friend
