Growing into week 8 these girls are taking there time and shaping up nicely for their manifolds, or half a manifold in Blueberry’s case...some defoliation and and just pulling those main branches down little by little trying to keep them even. Blueberry formed a nice knuckle where she split during her training. The girls were only given water for the past couple days. After I installed the new HLG 600 V2 Rspec I started having some heat issues. After the light was on for about 3 hours the temp in the box was 96F. So I’ve had to come up with a temporary solution by leaving the door to the box cracked open. Since then I’ve started seeing Asian lady beetles, another kind of beetle, and spiders...I hate spiders but if they keep the bugs out I guess I’ll let them go. I’ve only seen a few beetles so far, if they continue to hang around I’ll be looking into how to get rid of them. Going to let the girls veg for a couple weeks. Hoping they start growing a little faster. I’ll try taking some clones again before flowering. Thanks for checking out my grow!

The majority of my BB’s stalk and petioles are a bluish color. Toward the base of the stalk there’s an area that looks like it’s been skinned, or burnt. Any ideas?

ensure substrate pH is correct. possibly a trace element symptom, but those are rare in soil. (rust colored stalk) Blueish petiolse possibly P-def. But, could also be related to pH 6.8-ish is best in soil. Slightly acidic is the goal. Do this first... then move on to possibly changing nutrients.. . if this is off.. give it a week to see how it reacts to change. Nosedive should not be ignored, but be patient. Takes time for changes to impact plant. watering habits? stick to a wet-dry cycle. allow 1" to dry before irrigating or fertilizing. Try not to leave standing water on the leaves. You'll grow mildew or worse.

Are these girls looking small for being 60 days into veg? Do you guys think it would be beneficial to transplant into 5 or 7 gallon pots? I want to let them veg for awhile, I don’t think 3gal pots are going to let them get as big as I want them to be. GDP may be 8 inches tall.

Hi there,I would like to recommend to transplant into 7Gal pot, if you want her to stay in vegetative stage for a while. Also recommend to use at least 1.5x time of old pot.It will be alot easier for you while transplanting and in 7Gal pot ,you don’t need to worry about root bound and I have been root bound in 3Gal pot.And make me so confused with other problems. After that, I learned some thing “Don’t underestimate the growth of roots.Happy growing... ✌️

Off to a nice start! I just harvested my GDP from BLIMBURN. I am interested to see how you're turns out! Good luck and happy growing!

@@InstantT33, No problem at all, I've only ever popped one bean from the pack I have. She's a nice pheno, but I'm interested to see if yours looks more like the GDP I remember from back in the day. Stay lifted!

Hey man, just a quick tip for you.. Stick that clear cup inside of a red plastic cup so you have a double layer. It's not good for the roots to be exposed to light like that and you might get some better growth.

@@InstantT33, No worries.. Ya I think they'll probably bounce back after a few days in the new pots with a little love!

@TonyTrichomes, Thanks for the advice! I never even thought of that. Unfortunately BB had a little fall the other night so I decided to put them into their final pots. Hoping they blow up now they’ve got some room to expand those roots! Thanks for checking out my grow!

Watch the water you have led lights and low wattage too boot which is somewhat ok but take that aside you need to have dryness in your soil for oxygen to move around. You will get weird looking plants because only some roots can breath letting the plants grow on different sides of the plant more then others and into leaves causing weird twisted growth and eventually death. Also you need to change your cups your gonna get stress herms and it can happen as early at two week even in veg which is weird but that the amount of stress those clear cups can cause if your not proactive about it. All tips that are 💯 and I know what it’s like starting out growing with low wattage lights and such but there is a way to succeed this way but you have to know how and keeping your soil not soaked is the first step along and the second is climate control if you have those you will only battle with your light instensity and you can always add a new light in close to flower if it’s not 300w of mh/hps or 800w of proper led combinations (appear white or yellow overall). The ones that are hyper purple from China do not have the right light to grow more then 1/2-1oz even at what they claim is 1000-2000w lights the plants don’t react to it like other lights and quality led set ups. I only say this because I seen the lights you have as vertical lights which also don’t help that much since they’re 80w-120w and often don’t match the proper spectrum requirements to cause proper flower growth so I would say you would be better off taking cfl bulbs and hangin them down in between the plants or corners of the tent as even a 30w cfl curly bulb would cause better reactions and growth then that and yes I’ve used the same light you had years ago from wish for fun when expanding my grow set up

@@InstantT33, 5ft maybe but 💯 had issues in flower but it’s your dad you will know what I mean if you try to grow with them but you main light could get a bit off a plant but you should invest in a hps light set up you won’t find a light that gives better yields in any watt of led and I’ve spent 1000’s on led chasing that dream of low cost growing. It simply is easier to just accept the 60-100$ in hydro and use the right tried and proven hps/my equipment set ups. This would depend on your grow also as you wouldn’t want that in a 2x2x6 area it’s too much heat for instance. Any help I can be hit me up if don’t what your doing and in different ways if you have a prob over likly had it

@Obie_R3AP3R, Thank you for your advice! I did transplant from the clear cups into 3 gallon smart pots last night. I’ll be checking them this evening to see how they’re doing. As for the side lights they were a gift from my dad. He claims he grew a 5 footer under them, but it mysteriously died....I figure anything will help my little 150w Mars Hydro at this point. I’m thinking about buying an HLG 550 Rspec in a few weeks. And getting rid of the blurples. I haven’t had any climate issues, other than it being a little cooler than I’d like at night time. It gets down to 62F when the box is open and I’m working in there. 70-72F right when I open it and humidity is around 50-52%. I run an AC Infinity 4” with digital controller and carbon filter for exhaust. And I just added a 4” inline booster for intake as well, even though I don’t think I need it. Thanks again for your advice! And thanks for checking out my grow!
