Like all other 5 RQS regular strains, this Garlic Mist strain is very disappointing. She doesn't even come close to the excellent quality of the RQS female seeds. She is the worst yielder and takes a fairly long flowering time.
The yield of the Garlic Mists was very low, the buds are fluffy. Even the long flowering time of 10 weeks hasn't really thickened the buds. The plants are not sticky, which indicates a low trichome production. Expect a lot of leaves, no fat buds, or high THC%.
The plants have little THC, so the effect is not that strong. The smell and taste is moderate, spicy, slightly sour.
The plants in this grow diary are the clones of the original mother plants (see my other grow diary). The mother plants were already a disappointment in my previous outdoor cultivation, but I blamed that on the interruption of the light deprivation, but now it appears that they also do not perform well under artificial light.
The RQS regular plants grow in a normal way, but after a few weeks of flowering they show hardly any trichomes. The plants produce far too much leaves, even during flowering. The leaves also turn dark green very quickly. They seem to have difficulty converting the nutrition into flowers. The plants require a lot of defoliation. The leaf / bud ratio is therefore very low.
@Oyziphar, do you think it was because of the grow/problems or the genetics? So healthy roots and stem development, I thought there must be some potential but have only read a few positive comments yet.
