Day 1 - Decided to do another run with Autoflowers and the Tropicanna Fast Version to get some bud for the start of the new year.
For future reference-
Green = AK47
Blue = Blueberry
12/10/20 - The Blueberry has poked its head up but the AK seems to still have hers buried. Both have been placed in in their final pots and hopefully the AK has popped up in the morning.
Day 7 - Blueberry is looking good and the AK has finally popped up. Onwards and upwards
Day 8 - I'm struggling to get a decent pic of these, I'll have to try some different angles tomorrow. Blueberry is looking good and the AK is holding in. I'll take the bottles off tomorrow and keep an eye on them to see if the reduced humidity helps.
Day 26 - They have all shot up in the past 2 days but the AK is still the runt. Looks like they're responding well to the feeding.
I'll wait for a bit more growth and continue to train them.
Day 28 - The Blueberry didn't feel bendy enough to train so I'll wait for the morning and try again. AK is looking good, needs a bit more height before I can tie her down properly.
Day 35 - Lots of growth from the training which I'm happy about. Couple of shoots have made it to the top and theres a couple still under the canopy. I've noticed the stems on these 2 are very solid and thick compared to the other 2 strains growing, seems like they'll have a good foundation for flower.
End of week 5 and it's looking good and seems to be going well. I've treated myself to a BudBox Pro grow tent which should be here in a couple of days....
Day 40 - Both looking really good, definetly in flower now so the lights will be changing to 12/12. The AK has caught up nicely with the Blueberry and they both smell really nice, especially the AK. I'm hoping a new tent will be delivered this week so they'll have a bit more room to grow.
Day 42 - The new tent finally arrived and I'm happy with the amount of space they now have. I've ordered a Secret Jardin clip on fan as the one I have at the moment isn't powerful enough to reach all 4 plants.
Day 56 - Both doing really well and looking pretty identical apart from the Blueberry looks a bit brighter...
New phone coming tomorrow so hopefully I'll have some better pics.
5l of water, 5ml of Grow and 5ml of Bloom. Each plant has half a litre every 1-2 days
Day 58 - Got a new phone so the picture quality should be better....... once I learn how to use it 😁
Day 62 - Both had a bit of defoliation but other than that they seem happy enough. Slightest bit of yellow in the tips of the leaves and I cant tell if its burnt or not. Doesn't seem too bad so I'll just keep an eye on it for now.
Day 70 - Both looking good and the buds are starting to form up. They'll have one last feed and then it will be the start of the flush. Both are smelling really nice, AK is skunky/weedy and sweet and The Blueberry is a sweet and fruity smell.
Day 72 - Flush starts tomorrow. UVC lights have been switched on and are being run for the full 12 hours.
Day 77 - So the AK developed mould which really surprised me as these 2 seemed very happy. I chopped the top off and any others in close vicinity yesterday and I've checked today and all plants seem clear. I've done a bit more defoliation on all the plants to try and help the situation.
I believe it was down to cold weather, temperature fluctuations, high humidity, not leaving long enough for the soil to dry out in flush and poor air circulation (the fan was annoying me so I turned it down). It really shows you need your environment on point and you need to keep these girls happy for a happy harvest.
But it's all part of the learning experience and it shows you what you need to do different next time.
On a plus note the Blueberry is looking very nice with some streaks of colour starting to run through her, fingers crossed her and the AK pull through.
Day 79 - So the AK had another tiny bit of mould and now the Blueberry had a tiny spot of it as well. I'm hoping the Blueberry can fight through as it's looking and smelling beautiful, I'll definitely grow this strain again.
There isn't long left and the buds are ripening up quite nicely I'm just hoping the mould doesn't get out of hand and I can actually get something from these girls.
Day 84 - No more signs of mould, fingers crossed it stays that way!
Day 88 - No more signs of mould which is good. Both are finishing up quite nicely, especially the Blueberry which has some nice colours. Not long left, waiting for a bit more ripeness and some amber tricomes.
This one was growing so well and then out of nowhere it got savaged by mould. There wasn't much of her left by the end but I do have 3 branches drying at the moment but I'm not expecting much from this.
I'll update in a week or so with final pics
Chopped and drying, I'll update when its dry
I've forgotten about this site and haven't taken any bud pics.
Not the tightest buds or the strongest weed but the smell is out of this world! In the middle of curing it started smelling like a very strong orange concentrate, my GF said it smells like an Orange Calippo and that was exactly it. Now it smells like a very like fresh orange juice and the taste comes through in the smoke.
My problem with these autos is they aren't very strong, you smoke a joint and it will give you a nice smiley high but after 30 minutes it feels like you need to roll a proper J to do the trick.
Very beautiful plant and great genetics. I'm thinking of doing a no till window box with companion plants and this might be a good strain to use.
Starting the Blueberry auto next week :)
I'm wondering If I should try topping on it, since I'll start 2 others plants, reg feminized, and main-lined.
I need that those 3 plants get relatively to the same height... Not easy thing for me at the moment 😅
Do you have an opinion about topping the blueberry auto?
@PurpleWorship, This Blueberry stayed very short so you might not need to. The reason I didn't top is because it slows growth down while the plant recovers and with an autoflower I didn't really want anything stopping it growing to it's full potential.
Lots of people on here do it though and have great results. If you were to Top I would recommend week 2 or early week 3 as they'll be in flower by week 5.
420 Siempre!!!
