Day 72 - Flush starts tomorrow. UVC lights have been switched on and are being run for the full 12 hours.
Day 77 - So the AK developed mould which really surprised me as these 2 seemed very happy. I chopped the top off and any others in close vicinity yesterday and I've checked today and all plants seem clear. I've done a bit more defoliation on all the plants to try and help the situation.
I believe it was down to cold weather, temperature fluctuations, high humidity, not leaving long enough for the soil to dry out in flush and poor air circulation (the fan was annoying me so I turned it down). It really shows you need your environment on point and you need to keep these girls happy for a happy harvest.
But it's all part of the learning experience and it shows you what you need to do different next time.
On a plus note the Blueberry is looking very nice with some streaks of colour starting to run through her, fingers crossed her and the AK pull through.
Starting the Blueberry auto next week :)
I'm wondering If I should try topping on it, since I'll start 2 others plants, reg feminized, and main-lined.
I need that those 3 plants get relatively to the same height... Not easy thing for me at the moment 😅
Do you have an opinion about topping the blueberry auto?
@PurpleWorship, This Blueberry stayed very short so you might not need to. The reason I didn't top is because it slows growth down while the plant recovers and with an autoflower I didn't really want anything stopping it growing to it's full potential.
Lots of people on here do it though and have great results. If you were to Top I would recommend week 2 or early week 3 as they'll be in flower by week 5.
420 Siempre!!!
