Depending on how much room you have, making the plant even wider (tying the branches down a inch or so outside the rim of the pot, would make a lot more light to a lot more of those nodes.
Defoliate so that the middle gets a lot more light, as many sites as possible, without doing too much at once and shocking it. It helps a lot to start in vegetation so that it becomes accustomed to the pruning.
Lollipop more aggressively based on how far your light is penetrating into the canopy.
Next grow... eliminate the nodes that are destined to need to be chopped while they're still tiny, so all the plants energy goes into productive nodes.
