Hello yall I'm back with new setups and growing method. I had a small space, old light I used once, exhaust fan and clip fan. So turned it into a 18"x24" grow space.I'm growing in Batch 64 coco perlite medium with ro water gh trio nutrients and additives. This week starting out rough. I thought full seedling strength would be fine to start since my medium has no nutrients in it I was wrong. Showing signs of nute burn so i did a small flush to drop ppms my run off was at 800 down between 200 and 300. I accidentally got water on the leaves and grow light was on. And since the change in water pressure from flush she showing slight drooping. But I'm not going to stress I'm feeding her today with a 250ppm giving only a few cups around seedling till she bounces back. Btw I have photoperiod strains germinating in a tent with hlg 300l rspec I'll be posting soon.
@Newfie80, appreciate the tip I'm only using this light cuz I had it laying around and only used one time. I'm going to upgrade next grow or the one after to a hlg 135 rspec. But for one plant in a 1.5x2 at 14 inches maybe 12 in flower I think will produce great results will see.
@raven69, I just looked at your pics the leaves are curling like a taco which is heat/light stress. U need to lower the temps at canopy if you cannot lower temps raise grow light. If you cant do none of those 2 solutions feed with liquid seaweed to reduce stress and just ride it out. Canopy temps need to be between 70 and 80 degrees Fahrenheit. Depending on light and strain you either stay closer to 80 or closer to 70.
I'm interested to see how the light does. I recently went to viparspectra p2000's and the difference between those and the T5HOs I was running is astounding. Rocky starts happen. You're a quality grower and will pull through it.
@DankGardener - to me not sure you have 3 to 4 weeks left, the strain is supposed to be ready to harvest at 8 to 9 weeks, you are in that window currently, realizing that Fastbuds Strains often run over, you may if you have not already start checking trichomes - those are some awesome looking buds, the Cola's are just huge, you have dome a perfect job with this lady!
@MrJones, yes your right to check trichomes at this time they are still mostly clear also hairs are barely starting to turn color and curl but mostly white sticking straight out of buds that's where I am right now. Thanks though for advice
@DankGardener, Awesome information, just a friendly suggestion if you do not already, check your trichomes over the next few weeks, they are looking so awesome man!
@MrJones, I'm fairly new to autos but for my understanding is yes autoflowers will be ready in 9 weeks if I use bloom nutrients on week 4. But since I started bloom nutrients on week 6 I'm pretty sure she is going to be ready around week 12. But like I said this is my 3rd auto run 1st using synthetic nutrients. I read this info actually from fastbuds blog if I want a faster harvest use bloom nutrients on week 4 if I want a bigger autoflower/harvest use bloom nutrients on week 6.
Way to grow👌 The race is on👊
I have an Early Miss auto(28 days young) right around the same age and size as
your cheese, did you get your new light? I'm growing under california lightworks solar xtreme 500(love this light).
It pulls 400 watts and is plug and play, no adjustments required, just height
