This week I started tieing my mains back to keep everything flat. I defoliated to help expose branches I want to grow and help reduce crowding where I can while keeping what I can to keep encouraging growth. I'm continuing to prune certain side branches to select the ones I want to grow as exposed tops. Currently there are 20 and more should form during the stretch. At the end of this week I've officially changed to a 12/12 light schedule. I'll be expecting a good amount of stretching to help fill out the net I've created to make a nice canopy. I've had to start using a funnel to help water to avoid getting nutrient solution on the plant. It's awkward but if it all works out like I hope I should have a fair harvest.
Should I remove the dead part of the leaves? Specifically remove the brown parts of the leaves and leave the green part to save them for trim? If so how could I go about removing them without getting brown crumbles everywhere?
