Oct. 14 - just dropped the seed today. lets watch the magic happen.
Oct. 17 - she germinated in the hydroton. about to turn the light on and let her grow!
Well, it took a week to pop but she should be smooth sailing from here on out. Cant wait to watch this beautiful strain grow!! Such beautiful colors, gonna be a nice addition to the garden!💪 Thank you @Sweet_Seeds for the tester seeds!
Shes coming along nicely. it always takes a few days longer to start from seed in the hydroton, but this girl has nice big healthy first true leaves. The cotyledons must be full and rich of nutrients. As always Sweet Seeds delivers with quality genetics.
No roots yet, but there on their way. she seems to be a bit bigger every morning lol. Such a beautiful cultivar! Cant wait to have this beautiful colorful plant filling my tent.
Oct. 31 - we have some discoloration on the tips on the leaves and on the embryonic leaves as well. i wonder what it is being caused by? anybody have any ideas let me know
This one is Slowing way down. there are no roots coming out of the net pot yet, so i cant give it any nute yet. i think it has a nitrogen problem anyways. the first true leaves and the embryonic leaves were suffering from necrosis and the second set of leaves started out a little light colored and now i can notice the tips starting to yellow as well. I never gave her any nutes at all yet and used dechlorinated tap water with a ph of 7. Im wondering if this is a common problem with the strain or if its something im doing wrong. if anybody has had experience with this strain and knows anything more about it let me know. i will be canvassing diaries on here looking for others with similar problems and try to see how they resolved it.
Nov. 5 Tried a foliar spray. Green Planet Ocean Magic Kelp. lets see how they like it.
Gave this girl some food because she isn't growing very fast. it did seem to speed her up a bit. but she has some spots on her new leaves because of it, and also some shriveling up of the tip of one leaf. maybe too much nitrogen for first feeding, but i did only give her the minimum it called for, maybe i should of gave her even less. She also never got any calmag.
She is taking to the food now. growing fast. i may topp this plant tho. 1) Because i want to experiment and 2) i want as much weed as i can get from her. I love the look of her when she's all done i can't wait to have some of my own
So I went and topped this girl the other day, the 15th or 16th, just as a experiment, anyways the very next day after i topped her these pistols started to form. so i think i was a little latye with my experiment and i think my yield will be effected big time.
Nov. 20 - did some lst to let some lower bud sites grow
she is starting to look better, i had to drill some holes in the top of the bucket because i was having trouble tying her down, i needed to open up the canopy a little bit. hope fully i get quite a bit of action coming out of the middle.
This plant is starting to fill out nicely. the buds are stacking nicely, the plant is short but it seems to be all bud on what there is of a stalk. I prolly wont get alot of weed off of this one but i bet it will be tasty.
Starting to come around now. some of the colas are starting to frost up. there was a few days where the ph was up to 6.5ish. i was working so i never had a chance to adjust it. but now they are back to normal. But i believe that few days will affect how the plants will turn out. we will have to see. they should be done in anohter month or so. they will start packing on weight in the next coming weeks
This girl is starting to frost up nicely. finally lol she was just growing her buds with no frost at all up until this week. she is tall as well with long spacing between nodes, but she also has good bud structure at the top, stacking nicely. Not liking the switch to hps very well tho because she is starting to taco on the upper leaves. gonna be good smoke tho im sure.
This girl is just about done. she never made as much as i would like because my ph meter wasnt giving me a proper reading and i never realized in time. but it is what it is now she is almost ready for harvest. im going day by day with her checking her daily and we will see how she goes
next grow is gonna be red poison.. Hope you dont mind me following you.. Hopefully I can learn from your diary.. Cant wait to get started. Just waiting until my orange blossom harvest in a 4 weeks.. Then time to germ .. I will be doing soil as well, with led 1000 spider farms.. Good Luck..
