This is a night time smoke. Good body high and very tasty. The cerebral effect was disappointing but I blame the grower and not the strain.

This has proven to me that I simply don't know how to grow fast bud strains outdoor. The plant needs 18 hours of light and I could only provide her with 10. Small stick like buds but from now on I will stick to growing photo periods. What surprised me was how the insects attacked this plant.

I've grown the blackberry kush from dp and the purple lemonade both had lovely colours and smell and taste was there to a degree but the structure is always a problem for me with purple strains but very cool that you grew her outside I wish I could experiment with outdoors but too meny theifs and nosy people πŸ™„

@MrRaid Man, this comment hit such a sore spot. I live close to the equator, great weather and tons of sunlight, fertile soil and fresh air. But also bored cops, nosy people and a fuckload of thieves.

@Qlimax, yeah learn from my mistakes. I think a northern hemisphere summer grow would do amazing things but 10-12 hours sunlight just doesnt cut it

@Qlimax, Thank you. I hope you growing her indoor? This is my second fast bud strain that I have done outdoor and they not made for outdoor. Minimum 18 hours of light required. Smells incredible though. Its literally blackberry scented.

Not many people here do only outdoor so good to see some others. And thanks again for all the likes. As for your comment about them not producing for you...what latitude are you at? I’m at 53 N which means long days with good UV intensity from mid-May to Mid-Aug which means I have to grow autos outdoors but that’s totally fine by me. There is more than enough time between frosts in the grow season but the sunlight is too weak after the end of August to get nice buds. So it’s all about timing around the frosts and the solstice. If you’re in Australia (Sydney is 33 S so comparable to Los Angeles at 34 N) your limiting factor is likely heat. Plants stop photosynthesizing at about 27 C. If you can keep them cool enough (shade, mister) they should do fine outside. I also think cool nights help for some reason. Anyway, best hobby in the world. Cheers and good luck next season.

@Northern_Ent, best hobby in the world for sure man! My latitude is comparative of Sydney. Awesome info thanks. My autos did well this summer. Just planted them a month early. def going to try the fast buds the next season

Congrats on the harvest mate. Looks like some lovely bud too! No wonder the bugs were into it πŸ˜„ I’ve seen a lot of mixed results with fast buds outdoors here. I agree with you that they would benefit from extending light hours, especially in early weeks. But for me (only outdoor), I haven’t done well enough with autos and I will stick with photos. Well done ww πŸ‘

@Shooey, dude the bugs were so hectic! Yeah im sticking to the photos. Dutch passion has some awesome XL auto strains that do well in the summer time. Thanks a lot :)

If you don't have to be discreet, you can EASILY extend their photoperiod by just supplementing with some 3000k LED (outdoor security lighting), or even an HPS on your patio. Just run them for long enough to get 18 hours total light per day (or more) I have a pair of these (150w 3000k) that I use..from about 30"-36" and it's enough to get good results: https://www.amazon.com/STASUN-Security-330%C2%B0Wide-Adjustable-Waterproof/dp/B07GJBBKL4/ref=sr_1_23?dchild=1&keywords=3000k%2Bsecurity%2Blights&qid=1607974044&sr=8-23&th=1 But..here's a killer deal: 400w (actual)..would light up most of your patio like the mid-day sun...for just over $100: https://www.amazon.com/SOLLA-Security-Landscape-Floodlight-Spotlight/dp/B07WR3XDWK/ref=sr_1_33?dchild=1&keywords=3000k+security+lights&qid=1607974044&sr=8-33 You just have to wire some plug ends onto them. I also have one of these that works great for a single plant, or two smaller ones: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07R4ZQYS6/ref=ox_sc_saved_title_3?smid=A1QBDABQAR7N1L&psc=1 Just put them on a timer that comes on at dusk and runs several hours, and have the timer come on again at dawn and run for a couple hours along with the early day sun to maximize your PAR.
