Plant grew well, a little too well for my space and stretched way up into the light. Buds turned out quite airy but since this was my first grow ever, pretty sure it was grower error rather than the strain. When you consider all the things I messed up along the way, this strain was really quite forgiving.
I didn't rate this. There was nothing wrong with it per se, I just thought it made my soil smell like mouldy socks after a while, so I changed to Bio-Bizz and the smell went away.
So this girl is all jarred up for a good cure now. The grow was quite difficult for my first ever and had a lot of problems. She grew way higher than I had planned for and I'm pretty sure it led to her suffering heat stress from the proximity of my LED for pretty much the life of the grow, which ended up in some pretty airy bud. That said, you live and learn right and everything I got from this grow I've already started implementing in my Kush and Lemon Pie grows already. I'm also fairly sure the ugly buds are purely aesthetic issues, as they stink beautifully and I have a pretty good feeling that they'll smoke just fine. Will report back on that one at a later date once they've had a few weeks in the jars.
Does anyone know what's going on with this bud? Foxtailing? Genetics? she's crazy sticky and smells great, but the buds just look weird. She's standing right next to an OG Kush and the plants are night and day, the Kush looking exactly as you'd expect.
Just looking for some advice on harvesting really. Looking at the thrichs, I feel like harvesting now might be a bit early. I think she suffered badly from heat stress. if it were yours, would you cut your losses and move on? She's at about Day 64(ish) from seed.
Hello there scotch_egg,
Yes you are correct, harvesting now would be too early. I would wait at least 10-15 more days before harvesting to get a bigger amber ratio.
Good luck with your project, I wish you all the best! 👽
@Sweet_Seeds,Hi Guys, now this Devil Cream coming into full flower, I'm already researching my next grow and have been looking at Cream Manderine, mostly due to its low expected size. Do you think it would be suitable for me, as my space tops out really at about 100cm for plant height. What do you think?
