Hey guys, I'm back with another 2 Sweet ZZ seeds of RQS.
6l Pot - 40% coco soil 55% bio soil 5% perlite.
Day 0 - 22/10/20
The first seed has been placed in the pot, the other seed will be placed in the pot tonight as the first root is more developed.
They will be called seed A and seed B 😇
20:30 update:
Seed B has also been placed in the pot 😊
Day 1 - 23/10/20
Both seeds have sprouted. Seed A a few hours earlier than seed B 💪
Day 11 - I think my seed A is broken 😁😂
Day 14 - Seed A & B feeding with 350ml - 6,3ph - 300ppm for each
I am really surprised, after watering the plants for the first time since they were born I looked under the pot and with great amazement I saw the first roots come out of the pot, I think it is a very positive thing. Correct me if I'm wrong 😇
Hi guys. I have never watered these plants since they were born. I had watered abundantly on day 1 and only now the soil is drying out. how should i water them? a few ml or half the capacity of the pot? thanks 😇
Day 20 - Starting today the feeding plan with biobizz bio-grow & Atami cal-mag.
6,5ph - 700ppm - 1000ml for each
Next irrigation without nutrients, It will be used to remove the accumulated salts and to start the new feeding for the flowering stage 😉
Day 22 - Today I added some soil to allow the plants to develop new roots, seed B has proven stronger than seed A and is growing better all things being equal.
At the moment I am very happy, the seed B shows some imperfections perhaps due to a lack of calcium and magnesium, I think it is possible because that I know when the pH of the water is lowered it becomes more difficult to absorb these secondary nutrients. If I'm wrong, correct me friends, if you have any advice, comment on the diary, I will be very grateful 😇
UPDATE - Seed B showed some pollen sacs, could be hermaphrodite. At the moment I have removed the pollen sacs and I hope that everything goes well 😣
Day 24 - 6,5ph - 300ppm - 2000ml ( only Cal-Mag 0,75ml/L )
I am checking the plant several times a day to find new pollen sacs, at the moment I have not found anything on the new nodes fortunately. I have found only female pistils 🙏
Day 25 - In just 3 days the seed B showed a monstrous growth, I am impressed but also disappointed by the seed A because with the same conditions and feeding it is showing a growth below my expectations.
I think it's a mag deficiency.I've already added a good dose of cal-mag in the last irrigation,tomorrow I've to irrigate again and I wanted to know your opinion,I would exclude pH as I'm measuring at each irrigation.The new leaves are healthy and the plant grows well IMO.THX GUYS
Are you measuring runoff ph? runoff ph will tell you if you need to adjust your feed ph up or down in order to get it to the proper range (6.5-6.8 soil)(6.1-6.3 soilless). If your ph is good, and you are using cal-mag 1tsp per gallon, you should see some improvement. Happy growing.
Day 29 - 6,3ph - 400ppm - 2000ml for each
Plants are starting to bloom, seed B continues to grow very well while seed A grows poorly, secondary branches have remained very short, in general both vertical and horizontal growth is low and leaves never look totally healthy , There is always some imperfection. My fault? no! This time I can say with certainty that the stability of genetics is very low, I have bought many seeds from RQS but I believe that their genetics are not stable, I have almost always had problems, of course I am not a master, I have little experience but I think this diary is the demonstration of what I say. I don't want to be argumentative or leave negative reviews but for the future I have chosen to change the seedbank.
Day 33 - 6,3ph - 400ppm - 2000ml for each
Seed A - simply ridiculous, I am very disappointed. I feel like taking her and throwing her off the balcony 😠
Seed A on the left in the first jar, Seed B in other jars on the right.
Same Strain but really different growth, really different buds but really good, at the fine i'm happy... So...
Now the buds will be cure in the jar with the help of boveda 62 pack for at least 3 weeks.
