I had grown this cultivar last grow but with my spidermite issue i had to throw it away. it is a very susceptible strain to mites,, and prolly other bugs as well. This time i am eager to see how these buds turn out. She never popped like i wanted her too so i covered her back over with some soil and see if she repops a little bigger
This one was off to a weird start. Same as ther last time i tried to grow this strain. I have come to realize that it is a slow starter and in some cases doesnt know which direction to grow in beacuse this one started growing roots up. I missed the opportunity to take a pic because i panicked and fixed it right away bit as you can tell, it just shed its shell and now its starting to expand. I am going to top this auto and see if it affects it.
Nov. 5 Tried a foliar spray. Green Planet Ocean Magic Kelp. lets see how they like it.
She seems like she is starting to grow. it took a long time the last time i grew this cultivar as well. it was really susceptible to spidermites, the others i grew with it i was able to get rid of the mites but this one they took over.
She seems to be growing good now. She is up to 2 inches and i bet by next weeks jurnal she will be double that or more. She never got any food yet but she is going to soon. I'm think about experimenting with this autoflower and topping her. i will wait till she has 4 nodes like i usually do, unless she starts to flower before that
I topped her this week, and i usually eat the top because they taste so damn good!! i know some say you shouldn't topp autos but i have done it to a few autos and it hasn't bothered them at all. she grows alot slower than most autos. i have another plant that is 2 weeks younger and is the same size. i also gave her about 1 cups worth of veg/bloom food and plain water the next day. hoping to get her to switch soon.
she is loooking good. taking food and loving it, she is pooping bud sites all over. i think she is gonna yield pretty well for a auto. its a northern lights strain so im excited to try it
This girl is finally coming around. she is popping up buds now and stalk is starting to stretch a bit. i moved her over to the hps tent for her flower period. hopefully it makes her buds bigger. the led tent is 520 watts and the hps is 600w with a super lumens setting which pretty much gives it another 100w so it will be running at 700w. should be enough to give me macking buds.
She is finally looking good. it took awhile but she is coming lol. its life cycle is almost as long as a photo period. i have a few more of these seeds i will try to grow afterwards. I have a license to grow 49 indoors but i don't have the equipment to grow any more than 10 to 15 depending on how big i let them get. I need some good quality sativa weed for work, so im super excited for this plant to be done.
She is starting to stack up nicely. slow starter but she is becoming a pretty good plant now. its not as tall as my other plants so I have it placed up on a step to get it closer to the light and clear from other branches and leaves from its sisters. For an auto that was topped it is filling out very nice, with a lot of bud sites. I will continue to top more autos for a bit to continue my experiment. so far it does not seem to stunt them or make them yield less. This one is going to have more than 100 grams im assuming.
Sry this weeks journal is a little late. Christmas got in the way. I was still able to keep up with the grow but unable to keep up with the journal. Grow is going good tho. Plants started off slow but are looking healthy now. They still got a good month or so left in them. The buds are looking good tho
