This started as a double northern lights diary but the other one from Seedsman didn't germinate. I had the seeds for about a year but the RQS one seemed better packaged so maybe that made the difference.

She seemed to be doing quite well and I thought to start LST as early as possible.

So far so good. She is seems to be doing alright with LST and growing alright. There is some discoloration on some leaves but other than that all seem ok.

Very happy with the growth so far. She is responding very well to training. I'll probably remove a couple of the very large leaves in the next days to expose the lower branches that have started to develop. I'm not using any nutrients as the soil itself had feed for 4-6 weeks (not sure exactly what but she seems to like it). I've only added some manure pellets (6 grams) for some added help for growth.

I cut a couple of the lower and largest (the size of my palm) leaves last week and she didn't seem to mind at all. It definitely didn't cause any issues and certainly allowed more light to the new leaves. I've also cut a couple more leaves at the end of this week to allow more light through.

Very happy with how this is going so far. I don't think it's going to be long before starting to flower now. I keep removing leaves that are either at the bottom and not getting much light or are over the top stopping the light going through to the rest of the plant.

I removed quite a few leaves towards the end of the week as she had developed a very thick canopy and there it was getting very hard to manage. I think she is getting ready to start flowering.

I thought she was about to start flowering so I've started giving her some nutrients but not much luck so far. There are some preflowers appearing.

There is still no much sign of flowering. I moved the thermostat a bit further from the light in case it was a bit cold for her but it shouldn't make too much difference in temperature.

It looks like she is not an auto after all. I'll keep her in veg for another week at least as I have an autoflower growing alongside and then turn the lights to 12/12

She doesn't want to go into flowering. I've stopped cutting any leaves for about a week and generally left her on her own. When I cut any leaves she grows new ones within a couple of days although she has stopped growing. Any ideas what could be wrong or do I just give her time?

Thanks for the replies. I think I'll wait for another week or two as she is growing alongside another auto which is doing just fine so I don't want to mess with that until towards the end of flowering.

I need to switch to 12/12 as this turned out not to auto flower but I'll hold back as it is in the same room as an auto which is towards end of flowering now.

I gave her one last trim at the start of the week as I expect to turn to 12/12 next week (waiting on the auto growing alongside her). I may have overdone it a bit but worst thing I guess is to stunt growth which I really don't mind as she is already too big for the space I have.

Turned to 12/12 but still not flowering. I realized towards the end of the week that it may had been 12.5 instead of 12 hours of light so l reduced it even further to make sure it's under 12. Let's wait and see.

She seems to be doing alright and now will have the whole room for herself as I've harvested her companion. I accidently knocked the lights' timer to constantly on so she went through a 24h day but she doesn't seem to have been affected.

She has started maturing and she doesn't seem that she has anymore to give. I'll start flushing next week.

I'm quite happy with the result. It seems like a good yield (it ought to be after growing this "auto" for 23 weeks) and after trying some quick dry ones it seems like a decent quality. I'll update further when properly dried. I haven't done a wet weight mostly because I forgot but also because they were quite a few and wasn't very practical.
