Here we go again. Round 3.
I have decided to try 4 autos in my 40x40 tent as i want to make full use of my space. My prizes from @Fast_Buds for DOTM and a care package from @Barneys were the main reason to try 4. So glad i won when it was seeds as prizes. Don't know what use a load of trimming scissors or a trimbag would be for me with the quantities im working with haha. This will also be an experiment as to weather 4 is manageable in my small tent. I may also find i love some of these strains which will then show in my choices for the outdoor ones next year.
I have chosen to go with Strawberry Pie, Lemon Pie & Zkittlez from Fast Buds. Then Purple Punch from Barney's. From the 9 auto strains i had to go from these are the closest in flowering times. However, I plan to make a new drying space, so that this run i dont need to use the tent for it. As some may need longer than others but we will see.
I soaked 4 seeds and said to myself if only 1 sprouts, I grow 1. If 2 sprout, I grow 2 etc. So after soaking them in de chlorinated tap water for 24 hours all seeds had cracked. With a very small tap root (2-3mm) emerging i planted them each into a small pot. I mixed 9 parts jiffy plug soil to one part all mix and watered before placing them in my grow box to warm the soil up. 6 hours later i planted the seeds.
48 hours after planting Strawberry Pie was first to the party. Followed by Purple Punch, Lemon Pie and then Zkittlez. By 60 hours after planting all 4 sprouted. Looks like I'm trying 4 then :D
Germinating and growing these for the first few days in my homemade 40x40 box under a 125w dual spectrum CFL. I will then move them into my tent once my previous grow is dry. Temps are too high with the door shut (29°) so leaving the door cracked keeps it a slightly better 26°.
Very pleased that all 4 sprouted. Let's get this going then😁
Week 1:
Been watering 25-50ml of declorinated tap water to 6.5ph every day. Im also misting the plants, pot and general area several times a day to keep humidity as high as possible.
My previous grow is finally dry and trimmed. Smells amazing and smokes even better, so happy. The 4 girls have been transplanted into bigger pots. Strawberry Pie & Zkittlez have been put in 8 litre pots (folded to a 5L). Lemon Pie & Purple Punch are in 3.8 litre pots (folded to a 3L). All 4 have a ring of wire round the rim and then the pot is folded over and stapled to itself. I will then use this as a solid base to LST from.
For soil i am using Bio Bizz All Mix. Firstly because I had no problems the previous runs and secondly because i had some left from last time! I would like to try Coco for medium in the future but don't want to buy loads of new nutes just yet.
Before transplanting i sprinkled mycorrhizal fungi in the holes and then planted them. I then watered them all with de chlorinated tap water to a ph of 6.5.
The day after transplanting they all got 100ml of 6.5ph water with voodoo to 2ml per litre.
Running my light at 65% at 36cm from the top of the plants. I also washed and dried my carbon filter dust cover. Was very dirty and reducing the fans performance. Now its like brand new again.
Excited to see this one progress. Can't wait to smell and obviously smoke them all :D

Here we are at week 2. Today is day one of our 2nd lockdown so will have more time to tend to this! 14 days from germination and i think they look good.
The strawberry pie has been growing deformed since seed. Gave her some cal mag and revive and she seems to have perked up a bit. A bit of a shame as this was the one i was most excited about. Turned my light down to 50% too incase that was part of the issue. Will be slightly increasing again in a few days.
Will be starting to train them next week with topping and LST. Am undecided on what to do with the Strawberry pie but we will see. Also start feeding some nutrients.

All growing really well this week. Srawberry pie seems to have got better but is much smaller than the rest.
I topped the Zkittlez, Lemon pie and Purple Punch on day 16 at the 5th node. I gave the Strawberry pie an extra day and topped on day 17.
I started LST a few days later along with removing a few leaves. Once the bottom 4 branches started growing out i tied the next 2 down. Tomorrow i will tie the final 2 down that ive been hiding under the top fan leaves.
If space becomes and issue i will remove the weakest branches that dont make it to the canopy.
Light was at 65% this week at a distance of 34cm from the canopy. Will be raising the light a bit next week to promote more stretch in the transition into flower.
Zkittlez, Lemon pie and Strawberry pie are all showing signs of preflower. I expect next week to be explosive for growth.

A very productive week. Zkittlez and lemon Pie are both in their stretching phase. Nodes are stacking nicely so could be some big colas! Strawberry pie is about to stretch but still feeling the effects of her deformed start so has been a bit behind the others. Today (day 28) Purple punch has shown pistles so hope for her to transition into flower next week.
I broke one of the top branches on the Zkittlez while tieing it down and tried to tape it together. This didn't work and sadly lost it. Not the end of the world as some branches may not make it past week 3 of flower as space is limited.
My light has been 36cm from the canopy this week on 75%. Will up it again slowly with the aim of being at 100% by the end of next week.
I swapped the Strawberry Pie with the Zkittlez in the tent for easier access to the other 2 which are a bit behind. Also means the Lemon Pie and Zkittlez can do their thing without me having to move them.
Excited for the next few weeks to see them all take shape and hopefully fill out the tent.

Zkittlez and Lemon Pie have exploded this week. Both stretching well and think they've got a bit more in them. Bud sites are stacking nicely on both.
Defoliated a few days ago to let more light and air through. Also adjusted some ties to make spacing more even on a few branches.
Strawberry pie is stretching too but not as fast as the 2 others. The purple punch that i spotted pistles on last week is still not flowering. Has developed a few more hairs but i wouldn't say its preflowering yet.
Upped the light 5% ish a day till i got to 100% brightness. The Lemon Pie colas are about 30cm away. I have a bit more light height but don't want to encourage too much more stretch so will wait till it's over then move it up if they stretch much more. Lemon Pie is 30cm tall, Zkittlez is 25cm tall, Strawberry pie is 18cm tall and Purple Punch is 14cm tall.
Starting to see trichomes forming on the leaves too. They all still just smell of weak weed/plant but imagine some unique smells will start to come through soon.

This week the smells have started to turn up. Zkittlez smells as the name suggests. Sweet and fruity. Lemon Pie is lemony for sure. Strawberry pie smells strong but more gas than strawberry/fruit.
Although starting deformed, Strawberry pie has amazing resin production compared to the other 2. Zkittlez is next, followed by Lemon pie.
Purple Punch is still not flowerring. So due to space and height restrictions I decided to cut it back to one shoot from each branch. It's more an experiment now as it's so far behind the others.
Have adjusted the ties and cut a few leaves away this week on the 3 in flower.
Alternating between water and feed when the pots dry. Using de chlorinated tap water to a ph of 6.5.

Zkittlez, Strawberry Pie and Lemon pie are all looking and smelling great. SP is still the frostiest but Zkittlez smells the best.
Purple Punch has started to flower finally. I let her dry out too much but bounced back after some water. I also added a homemade wire net to keep her trained.
The 3 in mid flower have finished their stretching so evened their height by adding some take away tubs beneath. I did some light defoliation on all of them and adjusted some of the ties.

Another week done. Purple Punch has been growing great. Shes now at the same height as the SP so I plan to remove the tub I have underneath and get some more stretch next week. Starting to see some trichomes developing but just a plant smell at this point. She is on a similar feed to the others but swapped overdrive for big bud.
Started overdrive for the 3 others this week and will continue with it next week (+/- 1 week) then start the flush.
They all seem to have gained size this week and hope they continue to do so. The tent is smelling great and they're all looking good in their own ways.
Removed more leaves on the 3 in late flower. Plan to do defo on the PP this week.

Fully cut grow nutrients for Lemon Pie, Strawberry Pie & Zkittlez and been feeding overdrive again this week. All looking great. Plan to start the flush on all 3 next week. Their last feed/water was water so I guess its already started. Will use flawless finish with the next water.
Plan to flush for 2 weeks and then chop. This will make them 56 days from the start of flower and 77 days from seed.
Purple Punch is really coming along now. Bud sites are stacking and she's just starting to make trichomes.

Exciting times as i can now start thinking about my next run! Think i will be going for 4 again as it was manageable. Takes way more effort than just 1 plant but think its worth it to make the most out of my small space.

So the final week for Zkittlez, Strawberry Pie and Lemon Pie. They have all just had water this week and plan to chop them tomorrow. They all smell great. Zkittlez is sweet and candy like with noticeable skittles smell. Strawberry Pie is so frosty with a skunky, fruity smell. Lemon Pie is also nice and frosty with a skunky citrus smell.
Purple Punch is on week 5 of flower feed with Overdrive. Plan to feed for 1 more week and then flush for 2 weeks and chop.
Have started 3 of the next 4 for my next run. Will start the 4th when the PP is nearly ready to chop.

Decided against more overdrive this week. Just used bud candy once and plain water for every water. Plan to flush for the next 2 ish weeks and then chop.
The 3 others that I cut last week have now been drying for 7 days and will final trim and weigh them in the next few days.

Just plain water for her this week. The fan leaves are fading and plan to go another week ish with flush and then chop. Did a bit of defoliation this week too.
The 3 I cut a few weeks back are into jars and curing away. Will update their harvest in a week or so when they've had a bit more cure time.

Very happy with the outcome.
Dried for 7 days and put into jars. Such a tasty strain and can't wait to grow it again.
Taste is sweet and fruity. Smell is fruity and strong lime.
Not quite what i was expecting from this strain.
Smell is good. A creamy, skunky almost baked goods smell with a hint of citrus. Just dont get that lemon while smoking. A creamy and skunky smoke is what i get and its nice, just not me.
After smoking the first bud of this i let out a loud cheer. Sounds sad but it's true haha
She started off growing a bit deformed but soon picked up and got frosty very early into flower. The smells were amazing and couldn't wait to try her.
This is my favourite strain I've grown so far and best ive smoked in a very long time. The taste is like a sour berry flavour with a strong skunk kick. Buds look amazing and are covered in frost.
Just over a oz of top shelf buds. I am over the moon and have already popped another Strawberry Pie to go in my next run.
This one took an extra few weeks to flower over my other plants but turned out great. Let it dry for 9 days as temps were low. Have cured in jars for 2 weeks since and am very happy with the final result.
Final dry weight was 25.76g.
Thought I would add a final week to sum up my grow.
It went very well with no problems except for the strawberry pie starting out deformed but turned into top shelf smoke.
Made some hash with the trim of the first 3. Saving the Purple Punch trim for next round. Added photos.
All the weights are as follows:

Lemon Pie: 32.84g
Zkittlez: 28.12g
Purple Punch: 25.76
Total weight: 115.07g (4.1oz)
