She's chugging along nicely! Showing no signs of stunted plants with these genetics so far. I was thinking of topping this one, but going to grow it natural on the first grow as I've been having great luck with letting my autos do their thing 👌
Couldn't be happier with these two plants from Sweet Seeds. Good structure to both of them so far. I have a feeling this one will be much smaller than the bloody skunk plant though so let's see what happens!
It's crazy how these plants work... out of all the autos I've grown so far, all but one have started flowering around day 20-21. Same story with this one 💪 she's definitely starting to stretch nicely now and bush out even more. Feeling a bit uneasy of growing three autos in my small tent but should be a fun ride 😂
The stretch continues! As I thought before, I think this girl will yield less than the Bloody Skunk plant, but time will tell! Without any training, she has found her way to grow perfectly around my Auto PK plant, without sacrificing too much. It's going to be an interesting stem system in the end to say the very least!
Just like my Bloody Skunk plant, this girl started showing signs of some major deficiencies. After flushing her out, she had a pH of 5.6 to start, so a lot better than the Bloody Skunk, and was able to get her up to 6.0 by the end. PPM was also a lot better at 1256 to start and finishing with 1120. More runoff while watering will be crucial going forward. Wish me luck 💪
Another week in the books for this girl! Like my bloody skunk plant, she's still recovering from the soil pH issues, but she's doing great! Levels are back about 6.0, so we're looking good! Leaf discolouration is a lot better on this one than the bloody skunk, so nothing to complain about there. Should continue to see some nice stacking throughout week 5! 🙌
Well, her leaves are definitely in a lot better shape than my Bloody Skunk plant, but she's still not where I want her to be at the end of week 5 of flowering. Thankfully this one didn't get too tall without any training, so she's been getting a healthy amount of light, and as a result has just been BURSTING with trichomes over the past week. By far the most frosty buds I've seen, and still a few weeks left to go! Sweet Seeds definitely makes some sweet plants! :)
As my other Sweet Seed auto is going, another crispy week in the books. Definitely learned my lesson of not watering with enough runoff when using these types of nutrients. Considering I'm almost done the bottles, I'll be switching things up on the next grow to organic amendments, so hopefully that will be the end of my lockout issues, but you never know :) ... aside from things being super crispy with this girl, she's bursting with trichomes! Wish the buds could have been a bit more dense, but still a lot better than the Bloody Skunk. Time will tell come harvest time, but I'm not holding my breath! Time to start flushing this week though so get ready for an extra crispy update next week :)
Another few days left for this little one. Sad that the smell is going away which I'm guessing is from the high heat in my tent :( ... sad to also see that this girl is starting to follow suit of the other plants in my tent, and foxtail, so I definitely know that this was not caused by genetics of all three developed them. Can't wait to change my light on the next grow! Anyway, the ice bath has started to commence winter as I prepare to bring this girl down later in the week/early next week.
Like the Bloody Skunk auto, this girl has been chopped and is hanging whole in the tent to dry. I know a lot of people on here have reported harvesting earlier, and Sweet Seeds themselves claims 8 weeks from germination, but It really took a while for these trichomes to mature (same as my Bloody Skunk plant). Not sure if this is prevalent in these genetics (since I saw the same with the Bloody Skunk), or possibly the side effects of high heat/high light intensity, but I'm just happy that they finally changed, because the buds did not have any growth in the last week and a half of life. Anyway, stay tuned for next week's harvest post!
Really can't complain about this plant. Despite her nutrient lockout issue, she turned out perfectly, and I couldn't be happier with the yield considering she was crammed in my tent with the other two plants. Definitely the most dense buds I've grown to date as well. Can't wait to grow again with more room and possibly a larger pot size 👌
