Nice work as always. I love the always grammatically correct and super detailed notes. Hey, I’m doing my first commercial grow this year at a licensed site here in Alberta. Planning to grow about 400 autos organically. Molasses, vinegar for pH, small amounts of H2O2 to provide dissolved oxygen slightly above saturation (about 15 mg/L), water hardener to exchange high sodium for calcium and magnesium in the source water, etc. My questions are: do you monitor DO, and do you have a preferred mycorrhizae brand? I was looking at Dynomyco that markets for cannabis use, or just garden store brand. 😎
@FoTwenny, sorry I thought I had replied to this....yes DO is dissolved oxygen. I’ve seen it described as a third meter worth having, and it makes sense to me (geochemist) from the science angle. An example of lettuce being grown at different DO levels was pretty impressive. Cheers.
@FoTwenny, sorry about my environmental chemistry lingo...yes DO is dissolved oxygen. I’ve seen that as a significant factor in plant growth and a meter worth buying despite the higher cost compared to EC and pH meters.
@Northern_Ent, Thanks for stopping by! Does DO stand for dissolved oxygen? I have only used Mykos and Great White/Orca. I plan to do some side by side testing in the future. Bigfoot sent me some samples to do testing with, so I am thinking Great White vs Mykos vs Bigfoot. I would like to do other tests too, so stay on the lookout! Cheers and happy growing! ✌️☺️💨
