No pics of the paper towel but I have them in a tray with a lid and did something a little different this time. 4 went into Jiffy cups and the 2 that were just starting to crack were put in rockwool. A friend puts ungerminated seeds straight in rockwool all the time and it works so I thought I'd try a couple. Slight edit here....This officially starts week 1 so next entry will really show who's doing well and such. Also this clear shows the seeds I had tried (NLxBB) are definitely bunk. I have 6/6 (and these seeds were from a way less credible source lol) using g the same method as always. Paper towel . Oasis DID resolve with me and im waiting on seeds from them. When they come ill have a new attempt with them :)
Alright. We're 6 for 6( im not surprised i usually have fantastic germination rates) these were all regular seeds so I imagine I have at least a couple males here but by the time I flip them to bud they will be one of the only things left that are in flowering at the time so im not too concerned. All were started in paper towel as always(in case anyone's wondering). Im really excited to grow these out. If I get 4 females ill keep one as a mother. Maybe. I have a ton more Original Blueberry seeds so if I do not its also not a big deal. Im hoping for ALL female of course so let's hope together and see what happens. This will be a fun grow regardless cuz they are Photoperiod so I can put them in bud early late or never which opens up alot of flexibility that autos do not provide. I should be getting some Purple Kush Auto UK Cheese auto and 1 Alien Technology Feminized sometime soon so ill start those diaries when I do. Oasis sent them as a reimbursement for the shitty seeds and I love them for it. Stick with me friends we've got a LOT more growing to do!
Still 6/6 no really big problems no little ones either . All but 1 are doing perfect. One seems to have a burn (no difference from the others though so not sure why) so ill keep an eye on it. Other than that things are going great. In a couple weeks ill transplant them. By that point ill be starting to do daily checks for nuts(I find they develop even if you do not 12 12 after so long) so ill wait and pull any males then put the ladies into a bigger pot again. Original Blueberry is an awesome strain and I'm super stoked to have some and they ARE NOT AUTOS! YAY. I dont mind autos but I prefer the full control of growing photos and being able to clone a good pheno if I get a particularly nice one.
Only a coue pics upthis week. Nothing new happening. Slow growing. All still alive and doing well. Next week will transplant any that need it. 2 seem to have a nice burn which seems to be from the soil bit I'm not sure why only a couple are affected. I use the same dirt for all my grows and only some ever get it. I asked it as a question but the answer was its my dirt. If anyone else has any ideas as to why ( if it was the dirt ALL my plants should be affected i would think) a second opinion is welcome. Anyways I think that's about it this week. Cheers
Notta bloody thing. That said my recon diary spent almost a month like this so im not worried yet as most of them look to be healthy(a couple iffy ones but thats ok) looking into a new dirt supply cuz lately no new plants are liking this stuff( but the other ones do)
