ElTelmo This first diary is also my first indoor grow. In a 60x60x140 cabinet, I'm going to put two feminized Super Skunk seeds from Sensi Seeds. The reasons are simple; it's a legendary strain that's easy to grow and produces very similar and vigorous plants with great potency and flavor. In my first grow, I want to play it safe. I'll use air-pot containers and preferably LST until I fill 80% of the space. I have extraction, ventilation, a filter, and a 150w LEC light from Inootech. During the growth and flowering cycles, I'll use a rooting agent from Hesi (or one from Atami when the first runs out), Hesi enzymes, All-in-One from Power Feeding, P-K from Hesi plus Delta-9, and Candy from Boom Nutrients. One watering yes, one no; sometimes I do two waterings without fertilizer. Root washing and drying. First things first are the seedlings, I'm cooking the catch before I hunt it. I hope

ElTelmo In the first few weeks, there's not much to report. I water when the substrate is dry with the minimum amount of water and without any additives. The water is reverse osmosis, and I haven't added any CALMAG yet. The difference between the two plants is that one of the two I put to germinate didn't make it, so I had to quickly put in another seed, which means they have a 48-hour difference. See you next week!

ElTelmo One week in this growth stage is little, they have grown without problems and I'm happy because it's going well. If I had to make an observation, the growing environment lacks a bit of humidity but I'm not worried since when they grow, they'll have the humidity generated by the plants themselves. I've tried to raise the humidity a bit with a plate of water but I won't do more than that. I continue to water with water and I will do so until they have at least four nodes. Until next week!

ElTelmo They keep growing at a good pace and color. I've started giving them rooting hormone and a quarter of growth fertilizer. I'm struggling with the LST since the stem is growing very thick and with very little internodal distance, plus there are leaves touching the substrate. I'm watering just enough, and when I can, I'll remove these leaves; for now, it seems like unnecessary stress to me.

ElTelmo This week I applied LST and you can already see the results, several tops instead of just one. It hasn't grown much in height, but I'm satisfied; I will continue trying to make the most of the growing space. Mental note: if I had put in four plants, I would have reduced the time in the vegetative stage. The white spots are from the preventative that has worked so well for me outdoors, neem, potassium, and diatomaceous earth. I'm alternating the all-mix and rooting agent in a minimal dilution, less than half of what the manufacturer recommends. Until next week!

ElTelmo I'm very happy with my first grow, I'm learning a lot and I'm not messing it up enough to kill the plant. Thanks SuperSkunk for being so patient with me! This week I transplanted to some 6L airpot pots, their final container, the LST is working very well, I have several tops popping up. I also had a very early calcium deficiency but it's something predictable since I use Reverse Osmosis water. The conclusions are: - I took too long to transplant, next time I'll do three transplants, in 1L, 3L, and 6L with two weeks between each and the last one for flowering. - If I add one more plant, I'll reduce the vegetative time I need to fill the closet by 80%. - LST is very effective and fun for growing.

ElTelmo The plants are doing well and I will keep them in growth until I have the space at 80%. I'm watering more due to the size of the pots, and I water when it's light. Since I transplanted into TopCrop allmix, I'm not fertilizing this week, just with Calmag. The plants are healthy and although I saw some soil gnats, a generous application of diatomaceous earth has solved that. Until next week and thank you very much for commenting!

ElTelmo I'm satisfied because the plant is healthy and growing well, but the conclusion is that with three or four plants and apical pruning, the vegetation time is greatly reduced. As for watering, it's asking for a lot of water and growing happily. I hope to switch it to flowering next week. I did a very light defoliation and made a channel so that the water doesn't escape through the holes in the pot when watering.

ElTelmo They're growing well, I'll leave them in the vegetative stage for a few more weeks, I want to take up more space in the closet. In the next grow, I'll put in more plants to shorten this vegetative time that's feeling eternal, but at this point, it's better to cultivate patience.

ElTelmo The growth is definitely slowing down, probably because after the transplant I've watered with fertilizer two times no and one time yes for fear of over-fertilizing. As seen on the leaves, some are light and others yellow with a bit of chlorosis, so I'll increase the frequency to one yes and one no. This first week I'll keep that rhythm and then I'll increase it for flowering as the manufacturer indicates; I have an all-in-one product.

ElTelmo The plants have had the typical stretch at the beginning of flowering this week, they are responding well and I will continue like this. I've had to make two corrections, the first due to some incipient necrosis, increasing the feeding since I always tend to under-fertilize, I prefer it this way, and changing the fan and putting up yellow traps since I have a few soil flies despite fighting them with neem, potassium, and diatomaceous earth. It's strange, but the flies lay their eggs not on the surface but in the holes of the Aeropots. The temperature isn't ideal either, but I'm okay with it; it's my first indoor grow. I've also removed a few leaves since the plants are extremely bushy.😄

ElTelmo In the fight against the substrate fly, I'm winning but I shouldn't relax and need to apply products regularly. The plants are doing very well thanks to the ambient temperature rising about 4ºC and it's around 24º-23º, a more than satisfactory temperature. I've separated the buds a bit to improve light entry. They look really good but it's a mystery how much they'll grow since it's my first grow. I'm very happy! Each passing day means there's less time left! It's amazing to see how after applying Delta 9, more flowers are generated, without a doubt one of the best products on the market.

ElTelmo I'm always battling the fungus gnat. It's not a problem yet, but I haven't been able to completely get rid of them so far. I've sprayed with Bayer's Decis and Propolix at the base of the plants, foliar, and in the watering. As we approach flowering, the possibility of mold increases, and the fan is also at the base pointing at the pots. I water every 3 or 4 days, waiting until the pot is almost dry but before the leaves start to droop. In the next watering, I'll start with Boom Nutrients' Candy, in small amounts. So far, I'm doing well, not over-fertilizing and providing enough nutrients; the tent is about 85% full at this point in flowering. For my first attempt, I'm really happy. It can't be called LST, but I've tried to open the canopy as much as possible to facilitate light and air penetration.

ElTelmo Crucial week of fertilization, and from what I see, the plant is doing very well. I have a ton of conclusions for the next grow, things I did wrong, but I'm happy; if all goes well, I'll have quality weed from a legendary strain known to be very easy to grow, and so far, it has been. It endures my mistreatment with great dignity! I'm dealing with some substrate gnats that I can't seem to eliminate completely, but they're at a minimum, not growing. For the next watering, I'll use more product, Soilnabis, an insecticide recommended by my go-to Grow.

ElTelmo The plants are moving towards the root flushing that I'll do in 3 days. Being a well-established variety, the flowering days provided by the seed bank are a good reference, along with the grows from this community. In this final phase, I've had some issues with the fungus gnat, so I've applied soilnabis, bacillus thuringiensis, and propolix as a contact insecticide, plus yellow traps. There are only a few days left, and I believe that any attempt to annihilate the pest in its different stages is the best I can do. Since this is my first indoor grow, I honestly hadn't dealt with it before; I'll take measures next time. I think I'll end up with some extraordinary quality weed, but for now, the quantity seems moderate. We'll see how the last 20 days go; these problems don't help. I estimate that the leaf spots are due to the root activity of the nematodes, but the overall appearance is good, and I hope to be successful. Until next week!

ElTelmo On the 23rd, I did a root wash and let's see how they go, using up nutrients and giving their all. From now on, just water. Minimal watering to keep the substrate fly in check. It's true that bacillus thuringiensis is very effective, it drastically reduces the pest population.

ElTelmo The root washing is doing its job, although they're not on the same pace. One is clearly yellow and is running out of resources. In 4 days, the 16/5 days will be up. All the trichomes are milky and some are amber. It looks really good and the buds are tight, as they should be. I think I'm going to get some high-quality weed and I'm happy!!!

@@Waylate, I see it by the state of the plants, it's phenomenal. But I have the substrate fly that I can't seem to get rid of for good, I don't know if it's laying eggs in the holes. Still, I'm happy. I'll keep using them. They're wide and I really like that a lot.
