Time to try out some new strains
This time we have Purple Lemonade from FastBuds!
Started off with 24 hours in a glass of water then into a paper towel,then once the taproot was about half an inch I transferred her into a coco pellet. Once she’s broken the soil it’ll be into the tent.
Day 3
Looks like it’s time to up pot her and get her under the light.
Into a small pot today, sprinkled a bit of mycorrhizal fungi in to help with shock. Fingers crossed all goes well.
End of Week 1
Not much happening here. Looks healthy so am assuming that the plant is rooting well in the new pot. I will come in with a very light dose of nutrients on the next watering.
Upped the nutes for this feeding. She’s looking really health so far. First leaves are out and starting to take off!
I’ve been worried about a few small markings on the leaves of these young plants. They look to be very similar to which ever pest nearly destroyed my Lemon Pie. I’ve been spraying every few days with whatever I used to save the lemon pie so fingers crossed all goes well!
She dropped and half of her died. Fittingly it looks like she may be able to come back. I think this was Due to my fan stopping working

I’m going to keep trying but I thinks she’s too far gone :(
I knew I was right not to give up on her. Wow what a transformation since I last seen her before catching Covid! She looks healthy as can be. Fingers crossed she can produce something nice for me.

Er lijkt mij op het eerste zicht iets aan de hand te zijn met je ph, afloop van het water, weinig zuurstof bij de wortels, verstikking ..
Kan je dit nakijken?
Ik zag bij de foto's in je dagboek dat je ook last hebt van spint, dit zie ik aan enkele bladeren meer onderaan.
Heb je dit al behandeld?
Check run off ph first with any possible deficiency issue. Most cases substrate ph is off and your expecting a lock out. If that is ok. My next question would be do you get the leaves wet when watering? If so it could be light burn from light being magnified through water on leaves. Good luck hope that helps. Happy growing. 🌲🌲🌲👊
Have ordered some buffer powder to re calibrate my PH meter. I’m hoping that’s the reason for the yellow leaves but I’m not sure as all my other plants are fine. We will see.
Whatever it was seems to have stopped getting worse. This makes me think it must’ve been just a PH issue. I am about to recalibrate now as the buffer powder has arrived. But I don’t think it was a pest issue.
Wow she’s really stretched up to be tall, I really never would have expected her to do so well considering her decapitation so early on. Looks like a good amount of bud sites there, I switched over to biobizz nutes let’s see if I notice any difference.
She doesn’t stop amazing me this purple lemonade. Now one of the tallest plants I’ve grown. Buds are stacking up, hopefully she can produce some nice dense nuggies!
Had to bring the light up to fit her underneath she’s got so tall! Starting to bud up, she definitely won’t produce what she could’ve done but wow this plant just doesn’t give up, a true fighter!
She’s starting to bud up, these buds feel really dense for there size. They’ve still got a way to go so it’s looking really good. I’ve still got thrips eating away so have ordered some neem oil and soap to treat. Fingers crossed this does the trick.
I finally got an extractor and carbon filter in there also! Next purchase I think will be an upgrade for my light.
Really didn’t think she would look so good, after the spots on the leaves started showing. Must’ve just messed my PH up while watering, but things seem really good.
Buds are nice and dense already, I’m going to leave her going for a while, this diary should be called how to make an auto take a long time. I do find it quite funny though how my sour diesel is purple and my purple lemonade is green, who knows she could change.

Last week of flushing, then I’ll just leave her to dry out a bit in the pot before I harvest her. Wow these buds look nice, the main stem can barely hold them up now. She’s nearly there!
Gave her another watering, she’s nearly there I’m just waiting on those tricomes to amber a bit. I have to say one of the nicest colas I’ve grown, I can see her turning purple in a few spots but she’s mostly green.
After the accident early on she bounce back stronger than ever, the buds from her smell absolutely amazing. Although the high isn’t as strong as I would have liked. Some very nice dense buds, I think i shouldn’t of let her dry out so much in the pot and maybe started flushing too early so she didn’t reach her full potential. Never the less a great run and I’ve learned a lot.
