Yellow spots are appearing on the leaves, I’m guessing some sort of deficiency but I can’t pin point what

Hi !

Check run off ph first with any possible deficiency issue. Most cases substrate ph is off and your expecting a lock out. If that is ok. My next question would be do you get the leaves wet when watering? If so it could be light burn from light being magnified through water on leaves. Good luck hope that helps. Happy growing. 🌲🌲🌲👊

Looks like thrips. If it spread to other plants, then it is certain. Good news is that Indica's are generally more resistance to bugs than Sativa's. If it is thips, then the buds will be small and sad looking. I live in the tropic, and these things enjoy soap and thinks neem is a joke. My first choice is to use anti-bugs microbes. I prefer Beauvaria bassiana. Next level is synthetic organic stuff like spinetoram/spinosad. If it require any thing harder than than that, I salvage what I can and stop growing for a couple of months. Where do bugs comes from? eggs in organic soil, hitched a ride on your sleeves after handling other plants, visitors. I grow outdoor, and have to constantly handle pest and molds.

@GrowBuv, controlling bugs is better than killing them all i think. To kill them all needs strong poison that is bad for you also.

@Med_in_Tropic, yeah I’ve been dealing with a few thrips for a while. It never seems to get any worse than it is. I must be killing them but not eradicating them all. Although I don’t think that’s what has caused the yellowing on the leaves, it’s still a mystery to me. It hasn’t spread anymore which makes me think it was likely a ph issue. Thanks for the info though, as far as I’m aware I can’t get neem oil here but I will have a look around for those other suggestions.
