As mentioned before, I had to toss away the Amnesia Skunk because it hermied, I cut off the small tops and they are drying now, I hope I will still be able to make edibles with it.

Should I remove the net from the jiffy pellets when potting it over? (Once the root emerges from underneath)

Hi. I really don't think so: I've used a total of 14 jiffy with not even a problem on that side. The roots always pop out from the net even before i put them in the first pot. And, to think about how much strong a root is, the 2nd pot i use is made of coco choir (filled with regular soil). When the plant is big enough i put the whole pot in the final fabric pot, all matrioska style, and the roots simply pierce it with no sweat. Think about it: roots destroy concrete too!

Brown spots on leaves. Can this be because of too high pH of the water (7.5)?

possibly, and you'd want to get that in order first before playing with nutrient balance... pH change will nullify many changes. Get that stable then see if it corrects itself before making any drastic changes. Also, water entirity of substrate. they aren't too large. So get a little runoff to ensure it is wet. wait for it to mostly dry before repeating. This may also be related to symptomes oyu see -- as well as pH swings... This habit change is important. Early on, it may take 9 days between.. no problem. easier for you.

Hello all, I'm experiencing some yellowing leave tips on newer growth, it is paired with some light clawing (downside) on the newest leaves (only on the green gelato). I have used very little nutrients so far and have fertigated only once in fear of giving too much.

Are your ts1000s at 18 inches at full power? Could be too much PAR for them at this stage . Maybe raise the light up a little if so.

Anybody knows what is going on with this plant? My first guess was nitrogen toxicity because of the leaves clawing down a week ago, but I am not fully sure anymore with how the leaves are looking now.

You have 2 mars hydro at 17 inches.......i'd say too close upper leaves bleaching and becoming "3d" looking are signs of light stress. Notice how the plant in the back isn't affected, because its not directly under the light. In veg I usually have to keep my light at 23 inches to avoid light stress. In flower i'll go down to mabye 18 depending on how they take it. Happy growing.

Hi guys, has this plant hermied? About two days ago the little yellow things appeared on the buds (probably caused by light/heat stress). What do I need to do now?

Yes. Those are pollen sacs aka bananas. If they open it will spread to every plant in your grow area. Best to throw a bag over that plant and take it outside. You can try removing all the sites with nanners but if you miss even one...... Why risk it? 🤘😤

Hi! One of my plants hermied about 2-3 weeks into flower, could the buds still be used to make edibles or won't it have any effect?

You can use all of plant for edibles. Even if it was a male. There is Terps in stems. I had this happen with a male plant. I cut it dried it. Then processed stems into butter.

Very nice grow I am having the same issues you are having in week 3 and 4. Nitrogen toxicity, leaves clawing down, brown spots/burn. I use Foxfarm Ocean Forest from seedling, so i figured that did some damage too. Not completly sure. But your plants are looking healthy now week 5 Well done! 💪🔥

Thanks, I also gave them a bit of a 'flush' with just pH (6.5) water with much runoff, I think that helped too.
