'Gelato OG' by Seedsman

Jinksy's Tired! So, we're going to wrap things up here. Gelato has long been chopped and came down on Day 59 of Bloom. These Photos are of her on her final day and Cover Day 47-59. It was a wierd finish peeps! The Deets: The Good: -She is still super chunky, super pungent and did really well in her final ripening stage. Got some really good phenos pop and she didn't degrade! Decent fade throughout and she was on her way out. -Form held really well with her, which was nice. She had much weaker laterals than her sisters in previous weeks, but she shored up well in Bloom and carried her weight. The Bad: -First time in a long time there was something actually Bad. I did a final and full final flush as I was planning on chopping her in three days (Day 62). After I fed I saw something...Shit. Clear as day lime green bulbess seed sack😕. Pulled it and opened it. Yep. Under-developed by still seeding. Took a sample bud and dug deep. There was more new plant life and seeds occurring just about everywhere. Emergency chop time, but she was soaking wet now. There was no time for a dry out and 3 days was a dog's age for the seeds to develop further. I panicked, took fast final photos and chopped her down 8 hours after lights on. I know for a fact this will affect the final product but not entirely sure just how much. Shit happens, but ouch! Guess I should be grateful I saw that little lime green top or this coulda been much worse. The 'Meh': -The emergency chop was a big Meh, so was drying. I wasn't prepared for this and had no where to dry them. I didn't want to move Glookies in with the other girls because I was uncertain if she had been seeded as well. It was too big a risk and I'll note my findings on Glook in her final update. The dry area was too cold and RH was brutal. They dried like a popcorn fart. Another Oof. Thank God for boveda's, but some damage was done here... Super. Notes of the Week: -Keep this short. Glookies is under observation but seems okay. Gelato seeding seems to be isolated and no one else is showing new signs of seed development. Chops are still scheduled the same, but Glookies will be run down faster to avoid any further issues and chopped before MS now. -Project #5 is already underway and doing pretty well. Trying new things again so there's speed bumps, but will hopefully get through it like I have before. Time will tell. Gotta pull back on the new methods again though. Too many new things at once. -It's been about -30 to -40 degrees for two-ish weeks and RH is a stupid 10-15%. Wreaking havoc on the girls and I'm struggling to keep things in balance. This is part of why I'm struggling and the girls aren't 100%. Supposed to warm up soon but the weather man keeps frigging lying to us! Tell us the truth Jerk! Mmk! That was considerably short for a 13 day update. Hope you all had a real good couple weeks and the new diaries will be up soon. Still not sure if they'll be full journals as life is getting busier, but I'll definitely be around. Not going to be building the journals for any contest entries anymore, so Imma merge things and/or take it easy on updates. I can't help but write a lot and I feel it'll be a lot easier if I move to 2 journals instead of 4, or start doing 2 week updates instead of one weeker's. We shall soon see. Cheers all! Grow Big!✊👋
