12/15 - Flushed tank and replenished with nutrient water. 6.05 pH, 815 tds. Also lowered the light amount to 75 % Veg/Bloom because of leaf curling on younger top leaves.
12/18 - 6.2 pH, 480 tds. Added 24 oz of water with pH of 5.5, resulting in 5.9 pH, 400 tds.
12/21 - 5.0 pH. The lack of nutrients seems to be driving up the pH in the water. tds as at 240. Flushed the tank in the evening and replaced with pH 5.9, tds 1050
When feeding plants, the pH will increase after feeding (e.g. go from 5.8 to 6.5 overnight), but start to dive after about 4 days (go from 6.2 to 5). Should I be feeding the plants around the time the pH takes a dive or just maintain pH until next weekly feeding?
You need to find out why you have such wild fluctuations. This starts with a full on res change. You also need to measure EC regularly. Google "EC pH hydro chart" and it should give you a good idea of what your issue is based on these two reading. Organic nutes tend to be less stable as far as pH goes, so that could be your problem.
