Disappointed this week. Had an over watering accident. This led to slow growth. Sucks it happened the day after transplant. This led to minor nute deficiency on the one. Starting to come back around. Hopefully keep my January 1st light switch on schedule.
@Ferenc, I greatly appreciate your kind words. I use to grow outdoor exclusively. My grower friends convinced me to try indoor. I must say it's more precise. And requires a lot more attention to detail. I researched barneys catalog of strains( I typically only grow barneys) this one looked like the one best suited to my liking. Ability for good colour, terpene profile, with good resistance. Next I will be doing peyote cookies, ayahuasca purple, pink kush. As well as the monster crop clone I took from the current grow. They will all be destined to the back yard mid may.
@Dope1s, Beautiful pinky buds this strain properly performs in your environment. Congrats on you doing a great job with her really. Nice to see grows reflecting the true blood of the gentics especially Barney's is amazing choice. Trust ke those buds will be grateful lol
I'm growing this strain right now. I have 4 strains from 4 different breeders going. My Gorilla Zkittlez buds have been relatively tiny. Super coated with sugar, smell delicious, but small. In the last couple of days, they have been in a growth spurt. Feeling much better about the girl today. They doubled in size this week. Still smaller than the others, but bulking up faster than the rest lately. I'm optimistic that its just a late blooming variety. Maybe yours will do the same.
@Half_Baked_Ben, good to hear you have better growth! This was a really fun plant to grow! Mine have been getting better as well. Buds are definitely filling in better since getting the light resolved! I'm just not too sure what I can expect with about 2-3 weeks left.... today was my last feed. Gave some overdrive now will start the flush next water. I'm hoping she goes to 9 weeks. Good luck with the rest of your grow!
Hi @Dope1s, I noticed that you used a Bloom Plus 1500. I am currently on week seven of my grow, and started it with one Bloom Plus 1500, but later noticed it is rated for a 3x3 area for veg, but only 2.5x2.5 for flower. I also found a youtube video of a guy that did a Par test with a Par meter which confirmed this also, so I got a second Bloom Plus, which was $30 off on amazon that day, so I got my second one for less than $110, and have been running two for the last 5 weeks. I think these are great lights because they are cheap, water resistant, with a full spectrum that even includes an Infrared Samsung LED diode. I have a fan blowing over the top of each light to keep them cool, and I have noticed I can keep these lights about 12 - 18 inches above the canopy with no issues. It looked in the pictures that you kept your light more than 24 inches above the canopy, which could have been a little to far away since you only had one LED light. I would suggest just getting a second Bloom Pluss 1500, and keep them around 18 inches from the top of the canopy on your next grow. I definitely think you will be pleased, as I feel my grow is doing very well with two of these lights. Anyway, I just wanted to share my experience so far with this light. Happy growing.
