Soaked in water for 24 hours. Moved to a paper towel for 2 full days.
The taproot had actually grown into the paper towel. I think 1.5 days is the sweet spot for me so far.
Sprouted on 11/21/2020
Out of all my current plants, this one is the slowest grower by far. She looks like she’s loving life, but is just taking her time!
Not much to update on, but I’m interested to see how much growth is going to happen in the next week!
Not much to comment on this week. Aside from the slow growth rate in comparison to my other plants.
I might move her to a smaller pot in order to save a little space.
But she looks healthy overall and seems to be enjoying life!
Still the smallest for her age out of the bunch. She looks healthy though!
Since it looked like I wasn’t going to get a great yield anyway, I decided to swap this to a 1 gallon pot and move my Sunkiss to the 3 gallon.
Hoping to still get a decent yield because I loved the smoke the first time around and would love some more! Even though it’s in a smaller pot, I’m hoping to get the same yield or better (7 grams).
Still the slowest grower in the tent. Although it looks like the flowering stage is starting now, so I’m expecting to see the 21 day stretch starting soon.
Some pre-flowers are barely starting to show, but I was able to capture a pic of them!
Despite the small size of this plant, I think she’s looking really healthy!
She grew a lot taller this week and started to show some true flowering. I know the harvest will be small, but I’m glad I’m doing this little plant run, and I can’t wait to smoke some more purple lemonade!
I removed a couple of lower, tiny growth, but other than that, I’ve just been watering like usual!
Some really awesome purple started to show this week! I didn’t get this purple with my last purple lemonade, so I was excited to see it.
She seems to be growing and flowering just fine. I know she’s a small plant but I’m hoping bud development starts to speed up soon!
She's doing well. Definitely going to stay pretty tiny with a pretty tiny harvest. But i love the color of this plant compared to my last Purple Lemonade!
She's getting nice and sugary looking as well. I did some slight defoliation, but other than that, there's not much to comment on!
She's looking beautiful with the orange and purple coming through this week! These buds don't seem like they're going to get too big, but she's a cute little plant.
I cut down on nitrogen with all my plants this week, and I'm hoping that it helps out with the dark colored leaves.
Started flushing this week! Trichomes are starting to look cloudy and I decided I wanted to try and get ahead of flushing.
I also did some light defoliation. The colors of this thing are looking awesome!
Not too much to report on here. The buds still seem to be growing, and seem to still have some more time for ripening. Still seeing some really awesome colors developing!
The smell is pretty citrusy and has a bit of a pungent smell at the end. Make be looking at harvesting next week, as the trichomes are fairly cloudy, and I'm starting to seem more amber pop up.
I'm hoping that the early flush will really help bring out those flavors and aromas!
Honestly, the smoke effects from this Purple Lemonade compared to my last is very similar, even though this plant looks completely different than the last pheno I had. This could honestly be either a day or night time smoke.
The effects definitely don't leave you couch locked, but you do feel some nice relaxation along with some nice sativa effects. I'll post any updates I might have, once this is fully cured!
This was a super easy grow. Definitely didn't harvest much, but that was to be expected with the size of the pot. I love the purples that came out when growing it this time around. It was a lot more like the photos from FastBuds compared to my last Purple Lemonade. Although the buds are absolutely tiny, they're pretty dense compared to my last round of this plant, which had super airy buds.
Lookin good! Careful with the nitrogen.. I can see she's starting to claw.. I completely cut out the FloraGro and MOST of the FloraMicro because of this myself.. Very nitrogen sensitive from my experince and others as well.. The colors coming out are alot more vivid than they were on mine.. I can smell her thru the screen.. But that's probably cuz I'm about 4ft away from mine right now lol #NoFilterNeeded😁
@Professor_Chaos, thanks for the heads up about the nitrogen! Also, yeah I got lucky with color this time. My last Purple Lemonade didn’t have the deep purple like this one, so I’m pumped!
Beautiful! Small but powerful. I got a purple lemonade seed I'm holding back until I can get better growing conditions, but this grow has inspired me. Thank you for sharing!
