Week 9
Reservoir water changed and added fresh nutrients for them. The bigger girl has gotten yellow and loosing some leafs and the progression has been quite rapid. I'm not sure if it is just nitrogen hungry but the rest of the plants look healthier so I don't know what should I do now, maybe some calnit foliar to the biggest girl or I just let her be and hope for the best. I think we are not even half way through flowering yet.
♦️I took ph and ec readings today and noticed that the temperature of the water in rez is only 17C... I think explains why my plants show these deficiencies. I added more warm water with nutes and additives so hopefully this helps.
These are two very different phenotypes 'cos plant 1 grew faster and produces more round shaped buds with less trichomes, while plant two is smaller with more trichomes and spear shaped buds. Also that yellow/purple hue could also be genetic trait to some length and I managed to lure it out with my setup.
Hi Shagrath !
I might be wrong but this looks like nitrogen deficiencies. At 5.5, maybe the pH is a litllelow for its assimilation ( I don't know antyhing about hydroponics so please forgive me If I wrote a "nonsense" ).
@TheBudWhisperer, I've added more PK and it did not help her but the buds are getting slighty bigger and today I gave Calcium nitrate as foliar feed to the sick one. Let's see if that helps 'cos those symptoms look alot like nitrogen def but it is weird at this point. Also I raised the light few cm and it is at mac height now and I removed 1h from daylight.
My best guess is not enough nutrients for that amount of light and some kind of deficiency wekened her more so she can't handle the lights at all, but this came to my mind just yesterday.
@Shagrath, nawe - ur using great white so not really diff. From hydroguard which should be fine at those temps. Not familiar with ur nute regimen but if the ml/l ratio is accurate then you could be right that they need a higher mix. 2.5ml/l seems a little light.
I’m only saying this because the other plants (on a look) are showing some slightly pale leaves so u could be right about a deficiency. Hard to say on this one dude - every hydro setup and nute regimen is slightly different and I’m sure you already know how finicky these systems can be and how quickly things can change. Best I got here but will be watching with interest👊
