Second time growing this strain. Both times the plant stayed short and bushy, this second attempt I let go 3 weeks longer in flower, 28 days longer in total, but the end result almost identical. I guess that's just the best I can expect with my current style and equipment with this particular strain. The only noticeable difference was this time it frosted up better, and a little stronger smell.

Love the Flora-Series of nutrients. Now I've added the rest of that line to y regimen and am well pleased with the results.
Lights
I use 2 of these to cover a 2 x 4 tent. A good enough light for beginners set-up, but now a couple years experience under my belt will soon be investing in a better lighting solution. Don't get me wrong, these lights have performed well, and have had no trouble at all producing all I can use, but want to make that next step up.
Tents
A fair bargain tent. Be prepared to buy extra support poles for the ceiling if you plan on having much in the way of equipment on the inside of the tent, and invest in a roll of good black gorilla tape to seal off around the rectangle vents, (they have covers that velcro into place but light leaks all around the borders), I also had to completely seal off around the "observation window) and several pinhole leaks. The zippers seem sturdy enough. Along with the lights I've been using it was a good beginner set-up, but now it's time to take it to the next level.
I'd have to say, Bubba Kush by Seedsman was easy enough to grow, my only complaint is that both times I've grown it, I ended up with right around 2 oz of prime bud, and my goal is really at least double that per plant. Some of that is my fault, for having lower cost equipment while learning, but some of it is also the genetics because I've been able to hit much closer to my targets with other strains grown along side Bubba. All in all no complaints though as these were "freebie" seeds that came with my order.

Growing the same freebie and was comparing to see what my expected yield would be. Excellent diary and I’m hoping to get at least 2oz prime bud also but my goal is 4. Also on a budget with my equipment I’m slowly trying to upgrade cause that and the genetics do make a huge difference in the overall yields.
