Kalini Asia photoperiod seeds kindly provided by Zamnesia - thanks!
I first popped 4 seeds, they all germinated quickly. However 1 never grew true leaves and stayed yellow. Chucked it away, popped the last. Its about 10 days younger.
Hoping for some Purple colours this grow, wish me luck.
FIMMed this week - fun! Will likely repot before the next week's upload, so that'll be good to see. Happy with these girls, easy to manage so far.
Hopefully I haven't given them too much grow nutrients, probably not 😊
There was a lot of work done to the girls over the week. As you can see from the pictures, the bounce back time from each stage is incredible.
Cannabis grows so fast. It's resilience, adaptability and tolerance to change makes it my favourite plant to grow separate for my love of what it produces.
This strain is so far a joy, keeping base nutrients minimal for now, and they're just been repotted into 15L fabric pots. - forever pots!
They're enjoying the much larger pots, giving them plenty of growing time before I flip them to flower. When will I do that? I'm not sure. I'm trying to be as patient as I can!
They've responded well to some LST work as well as occasional defoliation. Will leave them a day or two before I hassle them any more.
When to flip, when to flip...
Plants have been flipped for a few days, next week will be the first entry for flower phase!!
Canopy looking fairly flat. Not my best work but it'll do. I wish I had the fourth plant to fill out the tent.
Probably one more week of just veg nutrients. I do most of this by intuition and gut feeling at this point. Happy growing everyone, especially to those missing loved ones right now.
They are still problem free. Purple colour looks fun already. This may be my last grow for a long time, so I'll make it worth remembering.
I'm going to push the nutrients a bit higher, they've shown no sign of excessive feed at all, and breeder descriptions say they can handle it.
These are simply the easiest plants in the world. Not once have they shown any signs of being unhappy. They are resilient when it comes to nutrients, temperature, watering schedule, LST work. The list goes on. Easy first timer strain without a doubt. I haven't seen a burnt leaf or a deficiency in any way. Wow 😱😁
It's the end!! The final week. The buds have fattened up loads, they're heavy and weighing themselves down in some instances.
48hrs of total darkness, then the chop begins!
Easiest grow of my life - they seem to keep getting easier!!
Kalini Asia really just loves being left to grow, with minimal work needed, minimal nutrients needed and overall just so easy going. No nutrient burn, not once, no yellowing leaves due to lack of nutrients etc.
The purple colours that really came through strong on one plant, was a particular objective for this grow. The two others also showed the purple genetic trait but not to the same extent.
A little over 1.2oz per plant. My aim is to one day get a solid 2oz off each plant. But with a 0.8m2, and just 3 plants, I'll happily take away 102 grams 👌
