Started germination on 11/18/20. Originally used a glass of water @ 5.5 ph to soak for 16hrs. Then transplanted to rockwool by 11/22/20 she had popped. Once i get the pics off my phone i shall post progress. Maybe even some others i've harvested. My flower tent is a 36x36x72 that she will go in when ready.
Started some new nutes. Flora flex line. Wasnt sure what to expect first time use of this product. decided to start off low. Gave what i thought was a small dosage it actually was spot on. 1tsp of v1 and v2 with 5ml uc root in 5gallon dwc. Came out perfect didnt have to adjust, ph was perfect. So far so good.
-week2 was pretty easy.
-checked her daily not really much going on but tons of growth.
-pretty stable ph and ec throught the week.
-ended week2 @5.9ph 0.9ec
-started to lst and defoliate mid week. has held up well. very responsive.
-another week of Lst and defoliation. lots of growth happening trying to stay on top of it.
-finished week at 1.3ec and 5.9ph
-warm water caused a little bit of brown root.
-lowered water temp from 75f to 68f added 8ml of uc root to fix minor root rot
Strong week. Finished at 2.2 ec. Clean water. Flora flex nutes are top notch. No dirty brown water. Ph fluctuates a bit. If you check on daily you are good.
-Stretching big time.
-Finished at 2.6ec and 5.9ph.
-Potassium silicate from Humboldt is crushing the stem wall development.
- roots filling out bottom of bucket.
Last week. Water only. Actually started flushing cpl days earlier. These are pictures are from 3days ago. Trichomes were smoky and some starting to amber.
Nice set up! Do you find indoor hydro is worth the extra work/money in the long run?
It will be a long time but indoor hydro will eventually be the next step for me but I have to do basic soil grows in a small tent due to living space/available power 😝😓

@ThrashedTV_BakedByGlaze, Thanks, I'd say its def worth the time and money. Cleaner too. If its cash you are worried about just consider that you have pretty much evrything you need (lights, tent, maybe ventilation, buckets etc.) already. Really its just changing the setup. Soil to water. Power shouldn't be a problem either if you already using a space you're adding a pump only. DWC is quite cheap actually. If you do it yourself. Good luck.🙏
