(Oct 18th - Nov 1st) [2 week Germination]
Soaked the Rockwool cube for an hour in water pH'd to 5.5. Wrung out until it stopped dripping.
Gently covered top of seed hole and placed inside a starter tray with a heat mat under.
Sprouted 2 days later.
Day 5 had a few roots poping through the bottom of the cube.
Tore away excess Rockwool from the cube and replanted into a solo cup with soil
(Nov 2nd - 8th)
Re-potted from the solo cup to a 1gallon pot, roots were starting to get root bound in the solo cup.
Looking much better than the first Hash Passion seed I popped the week before. As mentioned in my StrawberryBanana diary, I suspect my soil I reused from last grow has some issue with it and will be replacing the soil when I re-pot into a 5 Gallon in a week or so.
So far growing really good and only have a little drooping from some slight over watering at the beginning of the week. Always forget how little water seedlings need lol
Ended off the week with a 1/2 strength feeding of nutrients and molasses
(Nov 9th - 15th)
Another great week of growth. She's really starting to get big and wide very nicely.
Noticing a little yellowing of the very lowest branches on the fan leaves but the new growth is looking fantastic and nice and green.
Topped at the end of the week to split up the main branch into two main branches. Worked out well on my AK47 grow so doing again but made sure to catch it early and topped after the 4th stack of nodes
End of the week I re-potted into a 5 gallon pot with Foxfarms Happy Frog soil with additional perlite mixed in. Will just water for next week without nutrients
(Nov 16th - 22nd)
Growing like crazy this week! Plants seem to be absolutely loving the new soil and all the extra space in the pot.
Did a very minor defoliation and removed some big fan leaves off the lower branches and block light from other new growth.
This grow I want to try to not be as aggressive as I was with the AK47 for defoliation, see what difference it makes or not.
(Nov 23rd - 29th)
Excellent growth this week. Couldn't be happier with how everything's been going this week.
Was starting to get a little tall on the two main branches so I tied them down to the pot to spread them out and shorten the over all height.
End of the week did a another round of nutrients. Was starting to see early signs of calcium deficiency. Started to look much better a few days later.
Very excited to see how well this plant does in flower. Growing like an absolute beast.
(Nov 30th - Dec 6th)
Another great week of growth. Getting so big already, bigger than my AK47 from my last grow. Has a nice structure and shape to it.
Did a heavy defoliation of massive fan leaves and a few small lower branches that will become clones. Trying to focus on a even and dense canopy top.
Probably going to be the last week of veg and going to flip into flower next week.
Ordered a second tent, 3x3x6 and that will be my flowering tent with my spider farmer SF1000 and this 85watt light I got for $52 off Amazon and then just use my 2x2x4 as my veg tent.
My plan is get the Maxsisun PB2000 for the 3x3 and move the spider farmer SF1000 back into my 2x2 for my veg tent. The PB2000 should be a good light for a 3x3 with 3-4 plants, where light will lack will be where I have my fans.
New grow tent arrived and moved the StrawberryBanana #1 and Hash Passion in the new 3x3x6 tent and kept the StrawberryBanana #2 in the 2x2 veg tent.
(Dec 7th - 13th)
Started the first week of flowering.
First 24hrs were in total darkness and then after will be on a 12hr on and 12hr off light schedule.
Using Gaia Green Power Bloom top dressing for the flowering nutrients. 1 cup per 5gallons of soil once per month. Will add another cup in 4 weeks and every watering will be done with just CalMag and kelp.
Have the Maxsisun PB2000 on order and will hopefully be here next week. Going to move my Spiderfarmer SF-1000 back into my 2x2 veg tent as it's the perfect size and the PB2000 will be the new flowering light for my 3x3 tent.
(Dec 14th - 20th)
Second week of flowering is looking fantastic. Lots of stretching happening on a few branches. Starting to see some of the pre flower pistols coming in. Overall very happy with how she's growing.
Day 60
New grow light came in, Maxsisun PB-2000
Day 64
End of the week, lots of growth and stretching this week, seeing many pre-flower pistols coming in and getting bigger each day
(Dec 21st - Dec 27th)
Growing like crazy so far. Seems to slowed down on stretching out and is starting to grow a lot of bud sites and straying to stack up.
Probably will have to do some trimming in a few days to clear out some extra leaves and small bud sites.
Looking really good this week, tried some Sur cropping on a few branches and they sprung back up after a few days and now starting to see some good knots forming. Only did on 5 or 6 branches so will see what overall difference that made or not.
Add the last cup of Power Bloom and a cup of Worm Castings. Was reading 4800ppm first watering after feeding and by the end of the week was already down to 3250ppm. So she's hungry and the pots bone dry every 2 days. Might have to start watering daily soon.
Buds are coming in real nicely, keeps growing taller and taller everyday. Had to adjust my light and put the strawberry banana plant on a riser so they are at the same height to the light.
Seems to be growing tall but not nearly as big of buds growing compared to the strawberry banana
(Jan 4th - 10th)
Great week of flowering, buds are really starting to fatten up and stacking up on top of one another. Sugar leaves and some of the fan leaves at getting super frosty. The smell is getting stronger and smells amazing. Super excited to tried this bud out.
Really starting to fatten up this week, was going to flush Monday next week with the strawberry banana but I'm going to wait till next week so it gets more time to ripen up more.
Not seeing as much red hairs develop as the Strawberry Banana so it's roughly a week behind for its flowering I'm guessing.
Did some defoliation to get more air flow and light to the bottom/middle of the plant
Really starting to fatten up. Was originally going to harvest along with the StrawberryBanana but she's looking like shes going to need a few more weeks. Looking back to 2 weeks ago it's night and day.
Going to wait until I see more red hairs develop. Still mostly long and white so I think it needs more time despite the 7 week flowering time they say.
last week I decided to hold back flushing for a week now I think I'm going to hold back another week I don't want to cut this plant short.
