03 Dec 20
Paper towel method late in the evening
05 Dec 20
Both seeds popped and more than ready to be placed in the peat pellets. One tap root was too long so directly in ProMix HP with added vermiculite.
08 Dec 20
#2 was pulled as it was not sprouting from the jiffy cube and the root became tangled (likely problematic later on)
Day 3
09 Dec 20: cotyledons are curled down a bit. Might be slightly overwatered. First run with Air pots.
Day 6
12 Dec 20: first set of leaves growing. Do seem a bit small for almost a week but once the veg plants go to flower tent, will be able to really adjust the veg tent lights.
Day 11
17 Dec 20: Stunted from overwatering. We’ve got time to let it recover. Will ensure when transplanted to 3 Gal the plant is blended with perlite only.
Day 21
27 Dec 20: plants are starting to rebound. This plant has a small dwarf like structure but should recover soon. Already seen one of two roots air pruned at the bottom of the pot searching for water.
Day 28
03 Jan 21: looks like it’s just beginning to recover. Gave the plant about 3oz of hydrogen peroxide (3%) due to some brown roots and issues with soil.
Day 39
14 Jan 21: transplanted to a 1 Gal. Promix HP with about 40% perlite, with a minor amount of worm castings. Soil is a 50/50 of 4-4-4 and 2-8-4 with a tsp of rock phosphate (0-9-0) and glacial rock dust blend for micronutrients and minerals. Sprinkled in some mycorrhizae for transplant shock. Watered in seaweed extract (0-0-17).
Day 55
30 Jan 21: Getting some stretch. Been on 12/12 for close to a week now. Still no signs of flower yet. But sensitive to overwatering but looking healthy.
Day 60
5 Feb 21: in early flower now. Not looking very happy after a watering. Leaves feel dry and crispy but plants look over watered. Switched into the little tent hopefully higher RH Helps it out.
Day 65/F6
10 Feb 21: Reamended the soil with a blend of 4-4-4 all purpose & 2-8-4 Power bloom (50/50) with added micro nutrients and rock phosphate for flower (0-9-0). Water in slowly.
Day 76/F17
21 Feb 21: coming along, buds are developing nicely. Allowing soil to really dry out between waterings light is current set 65 watts with less then 10” from the light.
Day 90/Flower 31
7 Mar 21: started to get real hungry, kinda neglected top dressing nutrients and started to show some deficiencies. It’s been subsequently top dressed last week and watered in lightly. Minor defoliation this week to allow more airflow/light.
Day 114/F55
29 March 21: was away for work. Showing some deficiencies but in the final stretch to chop. Blumats worked wonderful. No sure if water ph rose in the reservoir, will verify. Breeder states 10 week flower period.
Had issues initially playing around with the substrate. This plant was transplanted three times due to too much vermiculite in the soil. Had a rough few weeks of its life. Turn into a nice little tree eventually. Only used up to 90 watts of the SF1000 since the plant grew into the light so close and was crammed in the tent with another 1 Gal pot. Turned out pretty nicely.
I am a newbie bro, and so curious. I've read in many places that nutes are not the best idea the first weeks of the seedlings...could you keep me updated about how does it goes for the young lady?!
@@Travazaurus, thank you for the explanation...i'm gonna do more researches in order to improve my skills and knowledge.
I wish you a great start my brother...
@CachimboDaPaz, will do. I am using organic dry amendments which are a slow release nutrients (30 days) made from organic materials. The microbiology in the soil slowly dissolves the ingredients and make’s them bio-available to the plant over 4 weeks.
