I had the same problem with 1 plant that had curling leaves. It is know as "the claw". My PH ended up being too alkaline. I was in soil and have grown in hydro once before but the same priciples should apply. Are you checking the PH of your reservoir often? I know the nutrients you are using has low N but if your PH is off then nutrient absorption can happen too fast or too slow. Also if you didn't flush out your reservoir after transitioning to flower there can be left over veg nutes. Root problems can also do this. Check the color of your roots they should be mostly white/beige. Regardless id flush your reservoir and start with lower ppm. Some strains can't handle higher ppms. The leaf claw won't ever go away but you will have fixed the problem and the buds will still grow.

@DTaro, Sludge you say? are you sure it's algae and not bacteria? If it's bacteria then there might be sludge on the roots as well. If thats the case you will have to decontaminate everything and get a good sprayer that can mist the sludge off the roots than put the plant back in.

@sacredgeometry, going to experiment with pond enzymes to get rid of some sludge I got build up in the piping from not draining for a long time for 24 hours, drain then run 6 hours of H2O2 then drain to give it a good clean. My inline filters got alot of dark pieces I suspect algae from the seaweed extract and some where there is light leak into the buckets. Will update you if the claw will get better

@DTaro, I like hydro better because of the faster growth and higher yields but I don't have time to neurotically check the water constantly because I'm always busy. In hydro i felt more in control but a good soil without pest is very forgiving and easy to grow in. With soil and coco I think the biggest thing to master is watering practices. If you water too much your roots drown. If you water too little, you get salt build up, ph swings and nute burn. I'm curious to see how the grow turns out after you flush and slowly reintroduce nutes.
