Planted seeds right into soil, used foxfarm ocean. Placed a dome on top of seeds and kept dome moist. Seeds popped soil 4 days after planting
I had to remove the hull from Blinky, also lowered my light to 28 inches, as i feel they are stretching longer than I was expecting for day 1
This week was full of surprises and challenges for this new grower. First issue i came across was stretching, both my girls were searching for some good light and what i had wasn't doing the trick. I upgraded the tent to the mars hydro ts600 and they are loving life.
I also clipped a root on Blinky and she started to lean hard. I used a straw to prop her up and she's responded well so far.
This week was a lot better for me, things are starting to take off! I love seeing the girls change each day. I'm currently watering once every 3rd day. I also rotate the pots every 2 days 1/4 turn. Still no nutrients, only dechlorinated ph'd water.
This week has been exciting, the girls are really taking off!! Minerva got some LST, and Blinky just got some tucking for now. Still no nutrients, only dechlorinated ph'd water, and molasses.
This week has been an adjustment, i went to the clips vs the garden ties, and ended up killing off a branch, so i removed all the clips and removed a couple fan leaves blocking sites. They seem to be recovering nicely. Still only ph'd water and molasses every 3rd feed. Will add 1/4 strength organic nutrients on next water cycle. I'm super excited to see the girls continue to flourish!
Going into flower and the girls are doing great! Growing almost to fast for my tent! From Thursday to Sunday they got 6 inches of growth and so many leaves i got some mold in top of my soil. I scraped it off sprinkled some cinnamon and defoliated to promote air flow. I see the white fibers everywhere and I'm EXCITED!!
Flowering phase is so rewarding!! Loving seeing the girls grow so much each day! Started them on bloom nutrients and they seem to be responding well. On just water days I'm still adding the molasses. No issues this week, and that makes me happy! Blinky is progressing much faster than Minerva, but Minerva will make it up in girth!!
Another week closer to finishing my first grow. Things are moving so fast, and I'm learning more and more each day! Blinky is budding so well, I love the spacing of her buds! They are getting thicker by the day! Minerva decided to grow up a little before working on buds! Had to do some modified LST to keep her from stretching to much. I'm impressed with the size and girth of her stems, she's a HUGE auto! Can't wait to see the harvest!!! Had a few leaves get some rust spots but nothing to concerning. I also made a little v stand to put the plants on so I can remove the runoff water without taking the plants out the tent. It was becoming an intense game of Tetris putting them back!! This week went by really fast!! The buds are coming in nicely! I'm having issues with the leaves turning yellow and the tips turning up. The top of Minerva seems to be thinning out as well. I'm running an organic grow using incredible bulk for bloom nutrients and molasses on water days. I have about 3 weeks tops left before harvest would hate to F up now! We're getting towards the end for blinky, buds are swelling up nicely. Minerva is about 7-10 days behind on progress but her buds will be massive!! Had some heat stress this week but I've seem to have gotten it under control now. Hope everyone has a productive week ahead!
Blinky is very near to the end and she's smelling GREAT!! Minerva is a little behind, but she's making up for it with girth and appearance! Had a little issue with my humidifier over the weekend but it has been solved. I'm looking forward to the harvest, it'll be staggered a little, but that's okay! Happy growing everyone!!
Great week besides all the dead leaves, I've learned a lot this grow. The pineapple glue is getting chopped today, my blueberry kush still has a week or so. I will be washing my buds after i cut them down, I'll have some pictures for the diary next week!! Hope y'all have a wonderful week
My pineapple glue is curing in the jars, didn't want to put it as harvested because i couldn't answer the questions and really give a good review as i haven't smoked it yet! So I'll just add on to my blueberry kush, she's taking her time but I'm patient!! Looking better every day!! I'm so excited to chop her down in about 7-10 more days! I've included some pictures from the pineapple glue harvest. No issues this week, hope y'all have a super productive week!!
This was my very first grow, and although i had a few issues, they were all grower error and nothing to do with the strain. I would highly recommend this strain to any new grower as it was extremely forgiving of my many rookie mistakes!
I let this plant get to about 50% amber to try to get more of that couch lock feeling. I'm only 5 days into curing but i did sample a nug, and I'm impressed so far. I get a hint of fruit and had a nice high for a few hours. I'm excited to taste the finished product, would definitely grow this again!!
I rebooted this grow, it was my first time, and although i didn't yield what i projected, it was rewarding seeing these plants to the end! My 2nd grow is already underway!!
