Started with pellets and put the pellets straight into a mix of coco, perlite, and Fox Farms happy frog, seeds popped by day 3, and showed collidon leaves by day 5-6.
Other strains are present in this grow but I am highlighting the ZOMBIE because it was outstanding.
I failed at the pictures this week, the ZDF are the bottom right 2, and they had the most explosive growth at week 1, still only using the soil and PH water with liquid w-8 added.
I started bending the plants little by little at this stage, allowing for a day of stress and a day of rest at a time, only using coated garden wire.
ZDF is still bottom 2 right.
Plants were moved from pods into 1 gal containers finally, and growth started to explode!
I will let them go rootbound and then move them to 7 gal pots.
I sent in DNA tests for my regulars and it’s not looking so good for my odds... about to find out how many I’m going to lose!
I bit the bullet and carefully pulled the zombies out of the 1s and put them into 7s and holy smokes!
I lost about 75% of my plants due to being males, so it should be an easier ride from here.
I upgraded my veg lighting and now things are going super smooth.
Nutrients are being upped due to deficiencies caused by rapid growth and stretching, maybe due to new light?
Can’t wait to flip these this week!
I messed up! I started the heavy nutrients way too late in veg, and when I flipped to flower I was NOT expecting the massive stretch.
I’ve never grown a sativa before so it hit unexpectedly, and my leaves are looking very dim green, which I know is not the best sign.
Pistols started popping pretty strong and having showed signs of slowing down. I’m thinking of switching my veg lights into the flower room to get rid of the blurple lighting for better pictures. Opinions?
I think stretching has come to an end, and the buds are starting to stack fast!
I’ve not seen growth this rapid until I switched to advanced nutrients.
I’m hoping these will be fast finishers!

Shooting for 8-9 week flowers
Took some late supercrop clones, hoping they survive!
Pistols are everywhere, smell us starting to take over!
Some spots are budding faster than most, and the new lighting I got seems to be treating them nicely!
Trichomes are almost ALL cloudy with a few amber here and there, and since I LOVE the sativa effect, I’m cutting around all cloudy.
These smell very strongly lately, mostly of lemonade!
They are falling over all over the place and I’m using garden wire to hold them up so they get as much light as possible for the finish.
This plant was a really hard strain to grow. It swelled up a lot at the finish, but the whole growing process was a struggle to keep it alive!
Not for beginners.
The smoke is DEFINITELY for daytime use, this stuff sends you into an energy spike.
After 1 bowl I found myself doing calve squats while doing dishes.
The taste and smell is what I would call sour lemonade, very fruity and tart, with STRING lemon on both plants.
The smoke after a 3 day dry and 1 day jarring is already super smooth, so I believe this plants flush did some wonders for getting rid of chlorophyll, and I imagine it will only get smoother as time goes.
I wanted to try a grow by the breeders earlier recommendation, and with this being an 8 week sativa, I HAD to try it.
The effects at week 8 are HEAVY!
The only downside is that the high only lasts for about an hour to an hour and a half, and then starts winding down for about an hour before being level again, and I don’t blame the strain, I blame myself for not waiting longer, but I wanted to see how the plant would be affected.
The terps on both are consistent, and similar to the 3rd I’m currently growing in a different cycle.
The genetics seem super stable and I will definitely keep a stock of clones and seeds for ZDF.
Only down side is the hunger this girl has over the other plants, she EATS during flower.
