06/05 Growing fast. So far no signs of problems with he plant. Since last week, I'm giving her half the dosage of the fert I have each other day. 07/05 Today was the first signs of smell. I got home and there was a good herb smell all over the place, but not too strong, so no problem so far. Maybe she ended the vegetation phase. I don't know. 08/05 Today I decided to start LSTeing her. Very strange at first and difficult to do it with wires but I think I got the hang of it. 😃

I noticed today (day 6) that one of the cotiledon leaf is kind of burned or maybe its only discolored. Any ideas why? My soil is made of: 70% Turf + Perlite 20% Worm castings 10% Vermiculite

Your plant shows stress pre-signs. We're missing some informations to clearly identify your issue, but here are some clues : this could be related to overheating, I see your daytime temperature is 32°c, which is very high for a such young plant (and even for adults). A nutrient burn could also be responsible for this, but we don't know what you're giving to her and at what frequency? Finally, this may happened because of the proximity between your lamp and your plant : 15cm is very close, once again you're working with babies here and you don't want them to be hurt. I would try this : increase the lamp distance, decrease nutrients (only plain PHd water until the next healthy leaves appear), and find a way to lower down your day+night temperature. I'll be around, good luck with this baby!

So, many questions here. Today (07/05) the smell started, I don't know if it's the flowering phase starting, can you tell by the last photos? What about her height? Isn't it too small, even for an auto plant? Why is it? Can I do something to improve yields? No LST so far...

Looks great mate, if I might add.. you’re right on schedule.. Autos start flowering anything from 3-6 weeks from seed. She is still growing in height and overall size.. she will easily double in height and in some cases triple. You can start to LST and defoliate a little one she stretches a bit more. Lst will allow more light to get through your plant instead of just the top. Check my auto grow and you’ll see the changes I’m talking about. You got a healthy girl, don’t stress it as you’re doing fine at this point. Hope this helps

The buds are growing and I have questions if I should defoliate in a so small plant. Should I? What else can I do to increase yields? Is it close to harvest time?

Hey kenshin so i was looking through your weeks and over the flowering period I'm not seeing much flowering nutrients? I think with the plant being small defoliating might take away some much needed leaves for taking in energy and light. If you dont want to feed the plant flowering nutrients...I would at least add in 2 tablespoons of molasses to each gallon of water, it doesn't require flushing as it is natural sugars and it can help bulk up buds...I think increasing what good light you can and adding in some positive elements to the water/soil would be best, in a pinch you can use cactus/succulent food as it is high in P and K but low in N. Best of luck and happy growing. Congrats on your 1st auto grow.

It looks to me like you probably have at least 3-4 weeks to go before harvest. Go ahead and defoliate as you like. But I would not do any other training at this stage. Good luck!

@DudeGrowsWeed, Ty for your feedback. I cut off 3 leaves that were in the way of some smaller buds, but I think that's the max I will do.

@kenshin Hi there! She's too small to defoliate any leaf, she needs maximum light to develop properly. Plus, your leaves are not creating shades onto bud sites, defoliating would be useless. At this stage, there's not much you can do to increase yield, but give her appropriate meals with just the right amount of nutrients, give her maximum light and a cool continuous breeze / good airflow. We all learn by failure, I'm pretty confident your next grow will be better! Good luck for your last days and happy growing 👊

@Stick, Ty for helping me all the way. I cut off 3 leaves that were in the way of some smaller buds, but I think that's the max I will do. I was afraid more nutrients would trigger another episode of overfert, but I feed her today with a very small amount of bloom nutes. I will go on taking small steps. Let's see.

Light is a bit close, if it’s at 6cm. Flush your medium. And continue to give her water after that until growth picks up as you may have nutrient lockout. Don’t have your humidity too high during Flower.. 30-40%. Don’t water unless the medium is dry. Have a slight breeze blowing over your plant, but not too much as your plant is in well, but she will recover. See how you go and keep me posted

@Flavoursuk, I flushed her twice and it worked nice! Thanks.

Dark green clawed leaves... Look's like nute overdose. Flush the soil and give water only. Don't feed unless you start seeing some deficiencies.

@@@Athos, Ty for the feedback. I had noticed there was signs of too much nitrogen, but I thought changing to Bloom nutes would be enough. Now I watered with water only for a few days. Check week 6 for new pics and info (flushed her).

Hey only one way to go, and that's up. This is my second round. My first round ended up being the best I've ever smoked period and I did that. Lil advice since first time. Feed half of what Nutrients suggest until you get a feel for your plants. Good luck bro. Swing by and check out my journals I have going.

Your soil might be a little hot for the seedling. It looks like nutrient burn to me. But I wouldn’t worry about it too much at this stage. Those cotillion leaves will die off in a couple of weeks anyway. But I would suggest water only for the next few weeks. There should be plenty of nutrients in your soil for her during the seedling and early veg stages. Good luck!

I usually leave them in there for about 2-3 days before tap root get out there. where I get my seeds from now tap roots are out by 24hrs and go straight to soil which save me at least 2 days
