Hey Growmies........running some new genetics and looking forward to a longer photo period journey ahead😀
Candyland should have nice colours with the purple genes in her! Running a couple of Emerald Triangle Seeds strains this run........also doing a Girl Scout Cookies x 707 Headband as well. May also be running a third from them but not positive yet. The plan is to grow some super freaking nice bud for entry into a local Cannabis Cup in April.......its time to get growing for the 420 cups gang👍😃😃😃
Grandaddy Purple x Platinum GSC should create some nice bag appeal if we keep the feeding in check and flush for a good 2.5 to 3 weeks. I see feeding stopping at the end of week 6 this run in flower......time will tell though👍
Progression:
Nov 29/20 - into water glass
Nov 30/20 - into paper towel
Dec 1/20 - into solo cup
Dec 3/20 - coming up from coco slowly
Dec 4/20 - they are out but the first set of leaves are so small......just giving her a day
Pretty darn solid germination flow.......can’t ask for better than progressing to the next step each day in a row😃 Looking vigorous for now!!!!!
I would say its safe now that we are through germination and tomorrow will be day 1 of veg👍😃
Thanks for the opportunity ETS and looking forward to a new journey ahead👍💪😎🙏
***** Week 1 of Vegetation - Dec 5 to 11, 2020 *****
These girls have been pretty seamless in progression and have been very solid with growing. By weeks end they have two sets of leaves out and working on the third. It often feels like photos are slower than autos when planting new seeds😃 Or maybe I just accept that the run is going to be longer and don’t get thinking about the finish line as soon. That first set of leaves seems to take so long coming out fully and perking up......they are doing just fine though and week 1 looks good.😃
As always with early veg......not much going on😃 She was given microbes and kelp this week but other wise there was only one other plain water feeding.
Running Innovative Plant Products for nutrients this run but I have a pattern with Velokelp and microbes for the first moisture so that is what I stuck with👊 Using their HOG 3 part system......the “Storm” is coming😂
So we are in solo cups for the two girls right now. Will transition into a 1 gal hopefully the end of week 2, depending. Get a good root mass in hopefully another 2 weeks at that point in her growth and they then will go right into 5 gal pots.......not going to do a 3 gal layer, I am fine with just one upsize compared to the work and time. That puts us at around a 5 week veg, might go 6, before flip. Again, the girls will set the final time line but that is the outline for now🤞😃
Little more detail.......
Dec 5/20, Day 1 Veg
- 150ml water with VeloKelp @ 1ml and microbes @ 2ml
Dec 9/20, Day 5 Veg
- 150ml plain water, 5.8pH
They are looking great ETS and are vey solid thus far👍😎🌟
***** Week 2 Veg - December 12 to 18, 2020 *****
The girls were given their first week of feed. Using a new line for me, Innovating Plant Products. A three part base nute with all the supplements. Supporting a Canadian company who supports my local hydro store👍😀 These girls are in coco so I feel we are good to go with starting to feed. They have been a dark green and starting to lighten up a bit now at day 7.
The girls are expected to take off more this week now that they are getting more rooted and we are starting feed. Goal is to transplant at the end of the week, but it might closer to three weeks.
Little more detail.......
Dec 12/20, Day 8 Veg
- 150ml of base feed with numbers as listed........lots of products to list😀
- the girls had a fair bit of runoff from feeding.
- they are looking really healthy and looking like they are going to take off.
Dec 13/20, Day 9 Veg
- nothing today for the girls.
- not much to add......seeing the third set of leaves very nicely on the girls now.
- leaf tips are up but not pointing way up.
- controllers being used in dry room right now so living with 80 degrees and 60%. Would prefer closer to 82 degrees and 70% but managing through early veg.
Dec 14/20, Day 10 Veg
- nothing again today......not much root mass so she takes a long time to dry out the cup😀
- doing well and not much to add.......keep everything as it.
- they are happy and their tips are up, or at least the one girl always has her tips up.....the other looks happy but she doesn't have her tips us as much.
Dec 15/20, Day 11 Veg
- nothing again today.....still some weight in cups
- will feed again tomorrow I think.
Dec 16/20, Day 12 Veg
- time for a little moisture today.
- 150ml watering with Vitamin B @ 0.5ml, Gold Storm and Sea Storm @ 2ml = 175ppm and 5.9pH.
- I actually thought the pH was lower and 5.6 not as close to six.........ran with it......keep an eye though is if they slow.
- They are looking good and CL2 is advancing more that CL1 at this point.......its so early though to worry about that too much😀👍
Dec 17/20, Day 13
- drying out - small cup😃
- slow and steady.
Dec 18/20, Day 14
- dry out day
- last day of week 2 and the girls are doing well. The girls are happy today👍😎
- leaf colour is good.
- likely give them another cutting week feed tomorrow. They have reacted well to the first feeding at the start of the week.
***** Week 3 Veg - December 19 to 25, 2020 *****
The girls have been getting bigger and looking really good! At the start of the week they are working on fourth set of leaves, 7 blade leaves👍 Node spacing increasing and they are starting to build a small root mass in the cup. CL1 is more advanced in growth but CL2 is looking bigger. Their stems should start to thicken more this week and look more robust.
Have more air moving over top of the girls now and they are dancing around more consistently. A little frail to do much sooner. This will also really help with their growth in the days ahead as she counter acts the wind and builds a stronger stem as a result. Will continue to follow the lower feeding for this week as well and then start stepping it up to the next feed week once they are in 1 gal pots.
At the close of this week they will be 21 days in solo cups so I will likely be transplanting this coming weekend👍👊 so keep them happy and don’t over water dummy and we should be okay to do upsize on Christmas Eve or Christmas Day👍🎅
Little more detail.......
Dec 19/20, Day 15 Veg
- haven’t been fed a full feed in a week so it’s time again
- 150ml each with Micro, Grow, Bloom @0.3ml, Ultimate B @ 0.5, Black Storm @ 0.1ml, Gold Storm @ 3ml, Sea Storm @ 5ml = 350ppm, pH to 5.7
- they didn’t have that much run off so the roots are building😃💪
Dec 20/20, Day 16 Veg
- Dry out day.
- Happy tonight. Tips up on all branches and pushing hard👍
- good reaction to feeding......keep the feedings the same while ina cup is seeming like a good idea😃
Dec 21/20, Day 17 Veg
- Dry out day agin today. Cups still have weight
- feed/water again tomorrow.
Dec 22/20, Day 18 Veg
- cups are lighter today so watering again with balance of water from two days ago.
- 100ml = 350ppm and 5.7pH
Dec 23/20, Day 19 Veg
- cups heavy. Dry out day.
Dec 24/20, Day 20 Veg
- give them one more day to dry.
- transplant tomorrow?
- They are looking really nice😀 Growing very nicely with excellent leaf colour right now.
Dec 25/20, Day 21 Veg
- 3 weeks in solo cup from seed.......time to go to 1 gal pots.
- they are growing nice but getting taller. Need to give them a bigger pot to grow wider as well😀
- will transplant and feed the girls today.
- Mycorrhiza added to pots in the holes for the solo cups so it comes in contact with the roots right away.
- 300ml feed with same feed as earlier but added Microbial Mass and Piranha @ 2ml/L
- 650ppm and 5.7pH for the feed......ppm were initially a little high so added another 1L RO water to dilute.
***** Week 4 Veg - December 26/20 to Jan 1/21 *****
The girls were transplanted on Christmas day, after three weeks in the solo cups from seed. They had been growing well in cups but I must admit that I feel the root mass should have been larger after that time period. I am working with a new nutrient line that I have not used before and have not been adding microbes to the feed schedule thus far.........or hardly any. I feel this is why the root system, while looking healthy, is looking too small. Over the next couple weeks will ensure they get lots of microbes in the 1 gal pots to fill those up with roots before moving to 5 gal pots.......the last upsize for this girls. Counting my weeks for finish I am wishing that I had started these girls a couple of weeks sooner so they may not get to veg in the 5 gal pots for a couple of weeks before flipping to flower.
For these girls it is still pretty early on in their lives and not many exciting things to happen the first month of seedlings. We have done one upsize and another to go. Keep the feeding in line and follow the week 1 veg feeding for these girls, bringing up the ppm closer to 700ppm range.
Overall, happy with first couple of weeks of veg. Need to get more roots going, we will, but otherwise just give them the time to mature and take it easy......they will come along😀
Little more detail.......
Dec 26/20, Day 22 Veg
- Dry out day after being transplanted yesterday.
- Pots were still heavy.
- Let the microbes in the media do their thing and start pushing root growth harder than what has been happening.
Dec 27/20, Day 23 Veg
- Gave the girls a little splash of the left over nutes from two days ago to add a little oxygen and they can take the extra microbes and bacteria right now😀
- 200ml with Microbial Mass and Piranha @ 2ml/L = 650ppm and 5.7pH
- They are really happy today!!!! Loving the bigger pot to let those valuable roots expand into nice fluffy new coco and soak up the nutrients👍
Dec 28/20, Day 24 Veg
- feeding day today with more water to get some runoff from the 1 gal pots. They have not been watered to runoff yet.
- 0.5L each girl with the full line for this week. No other additives, just the IPP line = 700ppm and 5.7pH
- seems a little high to jump from around 300ppm to 700 but will follow the companies recommendations👍
Dec 29/20, Day 25 Veg
- Dry out day.
- they are happy today......not much to add otherwise today
Dec 30/20, Day 26 Veg
- going to give them another day without watering.
- I feel like I should be watering today but I am not as I am not sure how much moisture they will have consumed and the roots need some air to breath so holding off.
- think it is a CalMag only feeding tomorrow.
Dec 31/20, Day 27 Veg
- feed day today since it has been a couple of days.
- 500ml with CalMag @ 2ml, Gold Storm @ 7ml, Sea Storm @ 5ml, Blackstorm @ 2ml, Vitamin B @ 0.5ml = 525ppm and 5.7pH
- keeping the humic and fluvic acids going in, plus Kelp and CalMag👍
- the girls are happy and seeing forward movement everyday, looking for more aggressive though from the girls.
Jan 1/21, Day 28 Veg
- doing very well......like really well💪
- didn’t push them today and left them alone for watering, pots of course still had some weight and I didn’t expect them to need today.
- Optic Folier Overgrow given today. Folier spray to give them just an extra boost since everything is otherwise dialed in👍
Finishing off the week very strong!!!!!! They have been looking very healthy and perky everyday. The roots are a concern and will be taking it easy on the nutrients for another week yet and keep up the microbes and beneficials. Will get them in line......my hope is too keep their time in the 1 gals down to two weeks max......maybe 10 days??
Looking pretty good ETS as we move through the first upsize. Her stems are stiffening and they are taking varying temps and humidity in the first weeks well. Feeding has been moderate to light and no signs of any issues......again, still pretty early on but its all good so far😎
***** Week 5 Veg - January 2/21 to 8/21 *****
Another week ahead of us and then hopefully another transplant. This has been an early veg week......meaning not a lot to growing the girls right now. These girls are looking really good and progressing very nicely. CL1 is growing in a taller fashion still as opposed to CL2 which is staying a little tighter. Lighting has been changed and working on giving them a nicer more even spread across the footprint. 3500K spectrum seems to be a sweet spot with some 660nm for deep reds. Put them on some bars that dissipate heat well and that provides a pretty nice environment for them to thrive in😃
Nutrients upped this week and giving them more base and increasing humic as well. The light peat mixture with coco is doing well and holding run off numbers in 6.2 range.....I am happy with that. Adding some CalMag since they in coco and under LED.
Little more detail.......
Jan 2/21, Day 29 Veg
- Dry out day today.
Jan 3/21, Day 30 Veg
- 500ml plain water.
- keep the pots moist.
Jan 4/21, Day 31 Veg
- Dry out day
Jan 5/21, Day 32 Veg
- 500ml feed with full strength of week 2 veg nutrients.
- 1125ppm and 5.8pH
- the girls are getting bigger and I want to see how they react to this line of feed at full strength.
Jan 6/21, Day 33 Veg
- Dry out day again.
- the girls are getting taller.
- they are close to transplant soon as they are close to two weeks in the 1 gal pots.
Jan 7/21, Day 34 Veg
- 750ml watering with CalMag @ 1.5ml.
- 200ppm and 6.0pH
- using RO water so I keep adding some CalMag at this time.
Jan 8/21, Day 35 Veg
- Dry out day.
The girls are really close to transplant time. They will be transplanted and topped next week. Very happy with progression so far. Keep up the microbes in these early days, they didn't get any this week so need to hit them again early next week.
***** Week 6 Veg - January 9/21 to 15/21 *****
This week the girls saw lots of change! They have seen a light change and now they have been transplanted and topped. Push the girls harder and see how they react😃 They have been in very good shape and healthy so they have been reacting well to the stress. These two girls have been strong growers from the start and its not stopping yet. The side branching is doing well and pulling up nicely👍
Topped all of the ETS girls and left them with 4 sets of branches on each. If the lowest set of branches were tiny, I have stripped them off already. Not sure if I am going to SCROG or not.....I don’t really want to but it is the best way to fill the canopy and test out the light spread......will see. These girls seem to be growing strong and may need to be tied down or stretch could be a bitch😂
They have continued to be fed once a week roughly and supplemented with calmag and microbes.
Little more detail.......
Jan 9/21, Day 36 Veg
- Transplant day today!!!!!! Both girls into 5 gal pots.
- Root mass was much better than in the solo cups......not as strong as Gorilla Girl for comparison but just about perfect and didn’t need to prune them.
- 1.5L watering of the pots after transplant with CalMag @ 2ml, Microbial Mass @ 3ml, Piranha @ 2ml (effectively microbes, fungi and CalMag watering)
Jan 10/21, Day 37 Veg
- 1.5L Feed with full strength week 2 nutrients
- added CalMag @ 1ml as well. New coco in the pots that have not been buffered so added a little more.
- 1,300ppm and 5.9pH.......feeling it might be a little high.....target was 1150ppm.
- no run off water from the pots. Didn’t want to “soak” the pots, jet wet them.
- New light in the tent today. 650watt but dialled down so the girls have roughly 10,500 LUX.
- Topped the girls today as well😃
- left 4 sets of branches on each girl. Topped them up high on the node above to help avoid splitting the main stem.
Jan 11/21, Day 38 Veg
- Dry out day
- girls reacting well to the high ppm feed from yesterday.
Jan 12/21, Day 39 Veg
- 1.5L watering with CalMag @ 1ml
- 200ppm and 5.9pH
Jan 13/21, Day 40 Veg
- Dry out day
Jan 14/21, Day 41 Veg
- 2L watering with CalMag @ 2ml
- 250ppm and 5.9pH (actually added 1ml of Micro as pH was a little high)
- IPM spray tonight with Lost Coast Plant Therapy @ 3ml/L. Done at lights out.
- This product been working well and nothing has been a set back so not going to stop now😃👍
Jan 15/21, Day 42 Veg
- Dry out day.
- Girls doing well. Still have some strong purple in the fan leaves coming off the main stem.
- Not too worried about it.....keeping an eye ono the main stem.
***** Week 7 Veg - January 16/21 to 22/21 *****
Week 7 will be their last week being able to take them out of the tent😟 SCROG netting going in on the weekend ahead. Not really a lot to report this week as the girls are doing well and I am just wanting their side branches to grow longer to help filling in the canopy anyway. Performed more LST this week and bending over the branches daily. Didn’t do any HST this week, will once the net is in and I have a better visual of how the branches need to bend.
They have come a long ways over the last 2 weeks when you look back at pictures. They have filled out with more side branching and other than battling a little purple striping on the main stems they seem pretty happy. Leaf colour is good and should be in good shape for the flip soon. Will go through all of week 8 before flipping so hopefully week 9 will be transition week and week 10 the start of flower.......have to get through next week first though😀👍
Switching over to tap water again. I have been struggling with calcium and magnesium deficiencies on all grows for the last year. I can’t seem to get the right amount added back to the RO water I use in all feedings. So running with straight water again now. Ppm coming out is 325 so I will work with that. Going to explore my own RO system in the house rather than bottled water, a system that adds back calcium, magnesium, and iron. It’s been flowing okay for the first week and will continue on for now. Using RO water I have been feeding full strength on the nutrients and have been working on backing them down a bit to compensate for the starting point of 325 now.
They have continued to be fed once a week roughly and supplemented with calmag and microbes.
Little more detail.......
Jan 16/21, Day 43 Veg
- 3L each of full line at full strength in RO water
- 1150ppm and 5.8pH given to the girls
- didn’t add any other nutes other than IPP line.
Jan 17/21, Day 44 Veg
- dry out day
- pulled down all the girls again tonight to train them outwards.
- side branching doing very well on Candyland girls.
Jan 18/21, Day 45 Veg
- 3L for each girl today with tap water and CalMag @ 1ml, Microbes @ 2ml, Nature’s Candy @ 1.5ml
- 700ppm and 5.7pH is what that works out to.
- have to use a considerable amount of pH down to adjust the tap water, over 6ml in 16L
Jan 19/21, Day 46 Veg
- measured the girls today and Candyland1 is 14” tall and CL2 is 13” tall. They were topped already😀
- dry out day for the girls.
Jan 20/21, Day 47 Veg
- 2.5L each with plain tap water
- 295ppm and 5.8pH.
- all the girls are looking big and bushy today.......they are ready for flip soon.
Jan 21/21, Day 48 Veg
- dry out day for the girls.
Jan 22/21, Day 49 Veg
- pulled all the girls down again......repeating the same LST each day manually rather than tying down for now.
- this should be water day but leaving for today as I am going to lolipop the lower branches and a heavier leaf stripping tomorrow.
- will feed tomorrow as they will benefit more.
Very solid week ETS......the girls are taking off and expect to see lots of leaves popping out over the next couple of weeks😀👍 Work on reducing the small stresses they seem to be experiencing more next week.......continue tap water and give a feed with Epsom Salts new week.
***** Week 10 growth - February 6 to 12, 2021 - Week 1 Flower *****
Here we go.......on to flower now. Last week was transition week and bud sites are setting on the girls now.
Lights flipped a week ago to 12/12.......typical flower.
Stretch is starting this week now. Last week was marginal height growth.
Nutrients switched over to flower schedule and following week 1 again this week. Next week will move up the ppm more and start on bud enhancers. More microbes and sweetener this week. Silica ppm also increasing now as not looking to bend branches much more now.
Have a hole in the canopy that I am just going to need to live with. GSCHB and MM2 did not growth as expected. They are not reaching up as tall as the others and stretch is slow. Not looking like they will catch up in next couple of days☹️☹️☹️
Little more detail.......
Feb 6/21 - Day 1
- been drying for 2 days now so water day with some supplements
- 3L each girl with CalMag @ 2ml, AN B52 @ 1.5ml (using up an old bottle to finish), Enzymes @ 1ml
- 575ppm and 5.9pH
- Need to start increasing silica. Using up some B52 which has some silica in it.......and other vitamins so its all good😀
Feb 7/21 - Day 2
- Leaves up today and praying nicely.
- CL1 is going to sleep earlier than the other girls and is droopy early in the evening.......root issues or too much light??
- CL2 is looking very good. Leaves are cupping nicely and buds forming nicely.
- dry out day
- stretch is going now and the girls are growing hard
Feb 8/21 - Day 3
- Feed day again, going to stay with week 1 flower nutrients, same as last week.
- IPP Grow @ 1ml, Micro @ 2ml, Bloom @ 2ml, Black Storm @ 3ml, Sea Storm @ 5ml, B+ @ 0.5ml, Red Sun @ 0.5gr, Carbs @ 1ml, Natures Candy @ 1ml, Piranha @ 1ml, Microbes @ 2ml.
- 4L for each girl.......yeah, took a little longer to mix up this feed😀
- 1350ppm and 5.9pH
- no run off from the girls today......little light on the water, they should have had 5L each.
- last feed with bud starter, Red Sun, next will be Bud Fusion for bud booster next week.
Feb 9/21 - Day 4
- no run off yesterday so adding more water today......plain tap water.....no additives
- 5L for each girl. 225ppm and 6.0pH
- good run off today.
- CL2 is really looking good.......beautiful leaf colour and nice amount of stretch right now.
Feb 10/21 - Day 5
- Nothing today......watered two days in a row
- ready for more silica!! Branches need to firm up.
Feb 11/21 - Day 6
- Recharge arrived today!!!!!! Time for more microbes and sweetener😀💪
- purple stripes on main stems so adding more magnesium through Epsom salts
- 4L mixture for the girls with Epsom Salts @ 0.5Tbsp, Silica @ 1.5ml, IPP Carbs @ 1ml, Recharge @ 1 tsp
- 1,000ppm and 5.9pH
- different microbes now and excited!
Feb 12/21 - Day 7
- Nothing again today.......give them watering tomorrow morning.
- Wondering if their leaves are a little dark........consider bring down ppm next week.......it was hard this week at 1300ppm........water is 250 on its own so around 1100ppm nutes added.
Looking good ETS......different phenos coming out a little different but it’s week 1 flower😃
***** Week 11 growth - February 13 to 19, 2021 - Week 2 Flower *****
CL1 is staying more temperamental and will start to focus a little more on her separately trying to correct. She hasn’t been giving the most run off of the group so possibly a pH issue forming, could be a little too much water for her?? CL2 has been awesome! She was slower in Veg but her tips are up and she is stretching💪 Looking like she should stack a couple of those colas👊 Also, CL1 has more branching on her just due to limited access to her in the tent compared to CL2.
2nd SCROG layer in now....finally😞 Lots of work to do in cleaning up the lower leaves next week. Will do larger leaf strip and lolipoping when they start focusing more on bud development.
Light is at 24” only pulling 310 watt, and the meter at the tops of the girls is roughly 28,500LUX. It is feeling like it’s a little strong for them but it’s close......the curling leaves is slowly increasing on the tops.
Nutrients switched over to flower schedule and following week 2.....but so-called back a couple of items. Adding some other items beyond IPP line so backing off some of the ppm to compensate. Still only one “feeding” per week. Early flower so hitting the microbes a little harder this week and next and then slowly start backing off. I like Remo’s Natures Candy for sweetener because it has humic, sweetener and old school molasses, amongst other things to feed the microbes as they are in coco. Bud Fusion being used now for pk boost.........no more “red kool-aid”😂 Still adding Rezin from Green Planet becuase it seems to boost my trichome quantity.....Terpinator likely this week as well......increase some of the sulfer to increase aromas.
Little more detail.......
Feb 13/21 - Day 8
- 3.5L watering with CalMag @ 1ml, Nature’s Candy @ 1ml, Resin @ 1.5ml
Feb 14/21 - Day 9
- 2nd SCROG added today.....finally. Plucked a bunch more leaves in the process
- watering with microbes only today. Recharge has some molasses in it so just adding that.
- 4L water for these girls with Recharge @ 1/2 tsp/gal
- 320ppm and 6.0pH
Feb 15/21 - Day 10
- today is big feed day....its been 7 days.
- 3L each girl with all the IPP line as listed plus silica @ 1ml, Nature’s Candy @ 1ml. (Bud Fusion was 0.2gr/L)
- 1325ppm and 6.0pH
- Girls gave run off at 3L today so didn’t push past that.
Feb 16/21 - Day 11
- some feed left from yesterday so added 6L of plain water to dilute it and watered into the girls tonight.
- 3L full feed of nutrients for each girl
- 800ppm and 6.1pH
- CL1 is coming out of her funk.......or she has just been Hungary the last couple of days😃👍
- CL2 is looking like she is in flower with her thicker stalks, leaf growth in bud sites, bigger buds themselves....she is well into flower now.
Feb 17/21 - Day 12
- 3L each girl with Terpinator and CalMag @ 2ml, Nature’s Candy @ 1ml, Recharge @ 1/2 tsp/gal
- 775ppm and 6.1pH
- increased light power to 350 watts. Now at 32,500LUX.......take it slow over the next week and keep creeping up. Leaves have a bit of a taco shape coming out and looking fairly serrated at the edges.....pushing the light intensity on the tops👍
- leaf colour on the girls is very good......tips are not burnt either.
- CL1, cut two lowest branches from the main stem......they are not reaching high enough on the canopy........energy suckers😀
Feb 18/21 - Day 13
-3L each girl of plain water today
- added beneficial bacteria and enzymes @ 1.5ml
- 330ppm and 5.9pH
- was looking for a little lower pH as I have not been checking runoff.
- CL1 - cut off two lower main branches from her......they weren’t going anywhere......she has too many side branches anyway.
- have to do a leaf strip this weekend......start of week 3.
- light power increased again, 400 watts now.
Feb 19/21 - Day 14
- day out day.......they have not had one in a bit.
- humidity was higher today as door to grow room closed today to assist clones with more humidity.
- CL2 is looking really nice. Bud sites getting larger and not thinking there is much stretch left in them to go.
- CL1 has been slightly happier the last two days......added more air movement around her to help,
So that takes us through two weeks of flower now. Not knowing these girls enough yet, I suspect feeding will stop at the end of week 6. That leaves four more weeks. I will treat the next two weeks like mid flower for nutes, and the following two weeks as late flower. Feed supplements accordingly. Mimosa girls will be taller but these two are holding their own. They are rocking ETS.......looking forward to seeing the bud swelling next couple of weeks💪👍👊🙏
***** Week 12 growth - February 20 to 26, 2021 - Week 3 Flower *****
These girls have been happy all week and CL2 has looked happiest still. CL1 pheno came out of the gate stronger and taller from the beginning but I have been looking for a little more out of her so while I was giving GSC x 707Headband some fulvic acid in her feed I gave some to CL1 also. She has reacted well to it, or it certainly hasn’t brought about anything negative. Used Gold Storm at 5ml/L👍 CL2 is just freaking gorgeous and may be a keeper, in early growth anyways😃 Love her size, node spacing, leaf to calix ratio, thick branching, early trichome production......all on point so far🔥When I took a leaf the other day the underside vein appeared to be slightly starting a color change......should be some purple in there somewhere with that genealogy😍
Light is at 20” and pulling 480 watts at the end of the week. Stated off with 400 watts at the start of the week but keep pushing it up this week. I don’t want to break 1,000 to 1,100 PAR by very much as I am not supplementing with true CO2. I have an Exhale bag to raise it a couple hundred ppm. Feel the need to keep the intensity high for penetration lower in the canopy. Will lower the amount of time in daylight if stress gets too high. Push to 11/13????
Nutrients are following IPP HOG 3 Part pretty closely. Just playing with macro nutrient ratios but otherwise supplements are at full week dosages following week 3. Have been seeing great resin production last runs so staying with Rezin as part of their feed schedule in flower. Terpinator......I think I see a lot of sulfer benefit here so it stays in the grows as well. Recharge seems to be working out well but we did the change mid grow from Microbial Mass. Since in coco have to feed the microbes so they reproduce and really dig Nature’s Candy with Remos additives in there👍 To help keep the root zone clean we add Enzymes😃 I have been debating a lot lately about the addition of CalMag to these nutrient lines and it’s necessity but since in coco I keep adding some......noticed a couple of spots on MM2 so have added it back in a bit more this week.
Little more detail.......

Feb 26/21 - Day 21
- Nothing today.
- Will feed early tomorrow as it’s Saturday.
- Let the root zone get some oxygen is my thought and water to nice runoff first thing in morning.
Week 3 behind us and going into 4.....middle of flower and girls are feeding hard. Pushing the lights hard now as well so need to keep the ppm up👍 Little more variety in these two phenos but certainly not negative differences. In the end I think CL1 might have bigger colas than CL2 because she is getting some wide/thick bud tops. I do like the appearance of 2 better though because I suspect trim is going to be better as well😎 Again though......I am make sure nothing happens to the clone of CL2 and Mandarin Mimosa 1 right now💪👊 Good week ETS.....let the swelling begin🌟
**** Week 13 growth - February 27 to March 5, 2021 - Week 4 Flower *****
These girls are looking a little more different as we get further in flower. Pheno 1 is starting to swell more this week and here leaves are a nice rich green colour. Pheno 2 on the other hand has lighter leaf colour but is reacting less favourable to the amount of nitrogen and clawing down at the end of the week. It could be that she is also reacting worse to the increased light intensity this week. The frost production on Pheno 1 is also coming out more now. These two girls seems a little more reactionary to nutrient levels.
Light intensity increased this week. Pushed up to 525 watts and then to 550 watts at the end of the week. This got the a little hot by the end of the week though. Working with a new light and finding the sweet spots takes a run or two. Learning how the girls grow anyway so the whole run is a lot of learning......its all good😀
Nutrients were pushed a little at the end of last week and the start of this week so backing off a bit more again. Given that they were pushed with light intensity they started showing some signs of nutrient issues. It’s good though as there is reaction time and back off to plain water feed for a couple of days at the end of the week and into week 5. Week 5 is going to be the start of the last stage of flower feed and work with that for two weeks, then stop feeding at the end of week 6........the plan so far anyway.
Little more detail.......

Moving right along we are through 4 weeks now and moving past the middle of flower.
*****Week 14 growth – March 6 to 12, 2021 – Week 5 flower ******
These girls are certainly different from one another. Pheno 1 has a more bushy appearance and Pheno 2 is lighter in color and more bud swelling at the tops. Expect to see some nice colors come out in #2😃 In the end......it’s about the smoke😂👍🔥
Bud Fusion being introduced this week. Into the last phase of feeding during flower now. Nitrogen is continued to be reduced as its late flower. Keeping up the feeding ppm this week as we are getting to the end. May be pushing them a little more than I should but finding out how they react for next run.
Still continuing to play with the light intensity and seeing how the girls react to my environment conditions when pushed harder. Could have backed off and stayed with 100, 300, 600, 900 PAR levels at the different stages but I have trying to go a little higher in the late stages and going over 1,000 PAR.
Little more detail…..

- Dry out day
- Been feed a couple of times this week so work with ¾ strength next week.
*****Week 15 growth – March 13 to 19, 2021 – Week 6 flower ******
Feeding has ended this week and we are in flush mode now. The girls have just started to slow down their drinking and pistols are changing colour, buds are swelling, they are getting ready to finish. Added the UV and IR light bars in this week. Started the week with just one bar and then both in place by end of week. Each bar has 10 x 730nm, 10 x 395nm, 6 x 660nm pulling 30 watts each. Trichome enhancers!!
Working with the new light this run I have certainly pushed them with more light intensity than they should have received, broke 1100 PAR for a bit. This has also started to cause some foxtails to begin rather than staying compact and swelling the buds. Know for next time……always changes to make 😊
Little more detail…..
Mar 13/21, Day 36
- Feed day with full line of Innovating Plant Products but at ¾ strength.
- Keeping up the feeding but thinking about nitrogen levels and working on reducing.

- 485ppm and 6.0pH
- 4L
- Light power pushed back up to 525 watts……..keeping the intensity up to hit the lower bud sites….will see what happens to the uppers.
Mar 18/21, Day 41
- Starting flush but not hitting the pots with 12 gallons of water each type of flush! Will just drop the ppm down to nothing and use RO water……planning on having close to 3 weeks to flush….second guessing that I really have that long though so may actually end up adding a flushing agent to the girls…..decide in the next 4 days so can leave plain water time if I do.
- Watering with Enzymes @ 2ml…….clean up the roots and help them get more of the ppm out of the media.
- 100ppm and 5.9pH……..missed the pH but not adding both up and down, ran with this.
- 4L
- Light power pulled back down 480 watts
Mar 19/21, Day 42

- Leaving them for today though. Give flushing agent in next 2 days if going to.
- Work down the light intensity more in next couple of days as well.
- UV lights going now for 3 hours per day on both fixtures at the middle of the light schedule.
****Week 16 growth – March 20 to 26, 2021 – Week 7 flower ******
We are in flush now until the end😃 Its nice to be past toxicity and deficiency issues and will just watch them finish and swell up.
Flushing agent used this week to assist with getting all the nutrients out.
These girls are different from each other but doing well overall. CL1 is fox tailing more than the other but CL2 is finishing nicer than CL1 in her fade.

- will be drying out the pots more now before the next waterings.
Through week 7 and heading into week 8. Not a lot of action in the final weeks as far as grower maintenance.......love the end when you can just enjoy😃 Very nice ETS💪🙏
*****Week 17 growth – March 27 to Apr 2, 2021 – Week 8 flower ******
We are in the first full week of flush now. Color change time and more swelling😃👍 GDP x GSC should have some purple in her......there certainly is in both. I have missed CL1 though, due to my actions. Pushing the nutes and lights is showing signs this week and both are fox tailing now. CL2 is holding it together though better than CL1........she said F you and shot her tips way up. Tails coming up the side of the bud as well, not excessive but they are prominent. They feel dense, yeah I squished a couple😏, so they should still have a good finish.
CL2 is the looker right now and will have more dense buds I suspect but CL1 is showing that she can make some chunky LARGE buds if given what she wants.......without excess🙂 Frost levels on both girls is very high and looking sparkly😎 Aromas have been coming out more now and I pick up sweet and kind of floral......F I don’t know fully on these ones right now but it’s freaking good......smells like good weed!!! Running these both again I think. I was going to let CL1 go but color isn’t everything....CL1 should have fatter buds and I think she deserves another chance👍 CL2 is a given she will be run another time as well🔥❄️ 🔥❄️🔥❄️🔥
The girls are drinking well with being watered almost everyday. Moving into the phase of letting the pots dry right out before adding more water to ensure they are finishing all the nutrients in the media. Again, really just keeping them watered when they want it and taking pictures at this point😎
