Nice week of growth and development. We’re not really doing much to them right now except letting them grow. We’ll veg another week, do a little LST and defoliate on the day we flip.
We switched light from a 24hr cycle to a 17/7.
At the end of our last batch we had fungus gnats and what looked like mites, yikes. We’ve cleaned our space thoroughly and we are going to take an aggressive approach to prevention. We’ve started a pest management routine. In addition to constant cleaning and an unhealthy sense of paranoia, we’ll be spraying a different foliar every week until bud formation becomes too developed. This week was Bronner’s. Next week will be neem oil.
A couple of these revegged clones have bud sites and trichome development already/leftover even though they’ve been mostly under 24hr light up til this week. We’re interested to see how they stack compared to the original clones.
As previously noted, some have been topped. Some have not. We’re looking to see which types of training/stress work best with this plant. Our last batch was heavily trained/tied. We’re taking a slightly more hands off approach this time. We’ll use trellis to create a full canopy which should not be difficult given how many plants there are. We will not do any tying down. We’ll also only defoliate/lollipop on the day of flip and two weeks after. Not much else.
12/20: temp and humidity are holding. These thirsty little ladies took some more water today which we were not expecting. Lots of new growth; makes sense.
12/21: today was IPM day. We sprayed with neem oil. 75° and 50% rh
That’s it for this week. Thanks for stopping by and happy growing! ✌️🏼🙏🏼🌳💨
@Dr_Doobie, I know him, I like him a lot. I have a bit of a science background so I really appreciate the burden of proof he places on the recommendations he makes.
That pretty much seals it. Even Shane from Migrow said it was a great light. Literally just ordered one there, so Thanks Dr 😂
