So after almost 2 weeks I decided to take a look. I saw the root had formed but the seed wasn’t opening. I took a razor blade and popped open the seed. After 12 hours is what you see in the photo. Not sure if I damaged anything or not. I then went to my germination pod where I had two seeds sitting in peat cubes for a week and did the same thing but I think I damaged one.
Not happy at all with these bomb seeds.
Try scuffing both ends of the seeds very lightly prior to dark cup of water for 24 hours best at 80 degrees F. I set cup in grow spot on top of substrate under lights, but it is dark inside cup for the warmth. It's not perfect but I run about a 90 percent success rate.
